We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and protection over your household. The spiritual oppression you describe is real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain and cast out every unclean spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic presence in your home in the mighty name of Jesus, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible warns us that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). The manifestations you describe—unwanted touch, invitations to eat, objects dropping—are not coincidences but signs of demonic activity. These spirits are not to be engaged with or entertained; they must be commanded to leave in Jesus' name.
We also want to gently but firmly remind you that spiritual protection begins with our relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed the enemy access—unconfessed sin, involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or generational curses. The Bible says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We lift up this household to You, Lord, and we declare that it is covered by the blood of Jesus. We renounce every evil spirit that has entered this home, and we command it to leave now in Jesus' name. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every generational bondage that has been passed down. We plead the blood of Jesus over every person in this home, over the walls, the doors, the windows, and every object within.
Lord, we ask You to fill this home with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a hedge of protection around this family, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this home is a dwelling place for the Most High God, and no evil shall be allowed to remain.
Father, we ask that You would reveal to them any areas of their lives that need to be surrendered to You. If there is any unconfessed sin, any unforgiveness, or any involvement in things that do not honor You, we ask that You bring it to light and give them the strength to repent and turn away. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Spirit. We pray that they would put on the full armor of God daily— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17).
Lord, we also pray for discernment for this family. Give them the wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the courage to stand firm in their faith. Surround them with godly believers who can support and pray for them. We declare that this household will no longer be a place of fear but a sanctuary of Your presence, love, and power.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every unclean spirit to leave this home and never return. We declare that this family is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and continue to resist the enemy. Here are a few practical steps to take:
1. **Dedicate Your Home to God**: Walk through each room and pray, declaring that it belongs to the Lord. Anoint the doors and windows with oil (if available) as a symbol of setting them apart for God’s purposes (Exodus 12:22-23).
2. **Forgive and Repent**: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in your life. Confess it to God and receive His forgiveness. Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold (Matthew 6:14-15).
3. **Fill Your Home with Scripture and Worship**: Play worship music, read the Bible aloud, and speak God’s promises over your home. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of God’s Word and praise (Psalm 22:3).
4. **Seek Godly Community**: Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. Do not try to fight this battle alone (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
5. **Put on the Armor of God Daily**: Pray through Ephesians 6:13-18 each day, declaring your protection in Christ.
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from victory because Jesus has already won. Stand firm, and do not grow weary. The enemy may come in like a flood, but the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God will bring complete deliverance and peace to your home.
