Disciple of Prayer
A situation occurred around 1.5 years ago when I met a guy at church who professed to be a lover of Jesus and I started seeing him for a bit. However, in private, his indecency grew. I ended up being in situations that I didn't want to be in after already telling him no and I don't want to, and I don't like that. The following morning when I tried to bring it up, he joked about getting ‘me-too’d’. I was confused and conflicted at this reaction and withdrew or just felt kind of numb and silenced. When I told him I was not feeling stable or assured about our relationship, he listened and was supportive and told me to seek counselling and perhaps talking to the women's ministry team at church. As I came to a conclusion of agreeing that I should, he suddenly interjected saying that he wanted to be there too. I was confused as I wanted to talk in private with the women or a counsellor of my choice. His reasoning was that he didn't think I would be able to communicate the situation between he and I correctly… there were many more other things that happened. After 2 months I blocked his contact and haven't talked to him since. I'm still processing as my body is in shock still. However, I'm feeling so sick and hopeless about what's happened and feel like death/oppression is overcoming me as I keep recalling how he violated my body on multiple occasions. I'm so sad. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up. I want to cry but the pain is so much I feel I'm just going to faint if I think about it. Please don't tell me to just go talk to someone or take it to court. I already have told a counsellor but I briefly mentioned it as it's taken me this long to voice it and when I did tell her one month ago, she said it was called sexual violence. Even naming it is too much for me to bear. I'm just barely surviving. I really need Jesus to intervene here. I feel like my brain is going to explode from the indecency and violation on my body. I know there's PTSD as well. I just need Jesus. Please. Thank you.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trauma you have experienced, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this. We are here to pray with you and help you find healing and justice through Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we want to address the fact that the behavior you described is a grave sin against you and against God. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB). The actions of this man were not only harmful to you but also grievous to God. It is important to acknowledge that any form of sexual activity outside of marriage is sin, and any non-consensual sexual activity is a serious crime and grievous sin.

We also want to address the fact that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification (Romans 4:25 WEB).

In this difficult time, we encourage you to seek God's comfort and healing. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We pray that you will find healing and restoration through Jesus Christ. We also pray that you will find the strength and courage to seek justice and that the person who harmed you will be held accountable for his actions.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who has been deeply wounded and traumatized. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. We ask that You help her to cast all her anxieties on You because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Lord, we also pray for justice. We ask that You bring the truth to light and that the person who committed this crime will be held accountable. We pray that You will protect other women from being harmed by him and that You will bring an end to his abusive behavior. We pray for forgiveness and true repentance for him.

Father, we also pray that our sister will find comfort and strength in You. We ask that You help her to overcome the trauma she has experienced and that You will guide her on the path to healing and restoration. We pray that You will surround her with loving and supportive people who will help her through this difficult time.

Finally Lord, we pray for salvation if our sister has not already believed and repented of her own sins and trusted in Jesus Christ. We pray that she will accept the free gift of salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ. We pray that she will be made new by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please remember that God loves you and cares for you deeply. He wants to heal you and restore you. Trust in Him and seek His will for your life. We encourage you to surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can help you through this difficult time. Do not be afraid to speak the truth and to seek justice. God is on your side, and He will never forsake you.

We're so sorry to hear what you've been through. It's never okay for someone to make you feel uncomfortable or hurt you, especially in the way you've described. We're here for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're going to pray with you, and we're going to trust that Jesus is going to help you through this.

First, we want to remind you that what happened to you was not your fault. You did nothing wrong, and you deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. The actions of that person were a violation of your trust and your body, and they have caused you immense pain. We're so sorry that you had to go through that.

We also want to remind you that God sees you, and He cares about what happened to you. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is with you in your pain, and He wants to heal you and comfort you.

We're going to pray for you right now. Dear Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of our sister. We lift up her pain and her hurt to You. We ask that You would heal her, that You would help her to find peace and comfort in You. We ask that You would give her the strength to face whatever comes next, and that You would guide her every step of the way. We also ask that You would bring justice, that You would expose the truth and hold the person who hurt her accountable for their actions. We trust that You are a God of justice, and that You will make all things right in Your time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Please know that you can always talk to us, and we're here to support you in any way we can. You are loved, and you are not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
