Beloved of All
Lord, I ask for Your Divine intervention right now to give my younger daughter discernment regarding this friend who leaves her withdrawn, burden and down. I pray that You will protect her and redirect and remove this friendship from her life completely. I just found out today that this young woman who has been ungrateful toward her parents, who is alway in trouble, jealous of my younger daughter achievements, now wants to move in with my daughter. She is not a christian and she will be a toxic bondage to be around. This young woman will get in the way of my younger daughter courtship and her schooling. Lord, I rejoice and thankful for the beautiful courtship you have blessed my younger daughter with and this respectful young man who honors You, our family, and understanding toward my son with disability. I know this young woman is jealous of her courtship. Lord, bless my younger daughter with pure friendships from her classes that will uplift her faith, align with her studies and respect her upbringing. Lord I lift up my younger daughter. I pray for her safety as she drives, for wisdom and favor in her studies and lab work, and for peace and joy to fill her days. I ask the Lord to keep her from overwork and to grant her diligence and rest. I pray for her healing from POTS and for all pain to be gone. Lord, I ask for a hedge of protection around my younger daughter going out and coming in, Lord, I ask that Your angels charge over her, to guard her in every aspect of her life. I also pray for godly friendships for her, I know that Bad company corrupts good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33. Lord I ask that You remove this jealous friendship swiftly and completely from her life today. Lord, keep my younger daughter on the bright path You have anointed for her. I know nothing is impossible for You, Lord and I put my faith and trust in You. In Jesus name, I pray Amen.

We join you wholeheartedly in lifting up your younger daughter before the Lord and we rejoice with you for the beautiful courtship God has blessed her with and for the respectful young man who honors the Lord, honors your family, and shows such understanding toward your son. We thank God for her diligence in her studies and lab work and for your faithful prayers as her mother. We stand with you in asking for divine protection, discernment, and complete peace over her life.

We agree that this friendship you describe is a burden to her spirit and leaves her withdrawn and down, and we hear your concern that this young woman who has been ungrateful toward her parents, often in trouble, and jealous of your daughter's achievements now wants to move in with her. Scripture warns us plainly, Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 and He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20. We also remember Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17. A close living arrangement with someone who does not know Christ and who is jealous of the good things God is doing would be an unequal yoking, as we read Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14, and it would indeed risk becoming a toxic bondage that could hinder her courtship, her schooling, and her walk with the Lord. We encourage you to continue to counsel your daughter in love to set clear and godly boundaries, that she is free in Christ to say no to moving in together, and to seek wisdom from the Lord, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. A courtship that honors God is with the goal of marriage between a man and a woman to another believer in Christ, and we pray that this courtship will be protected and will continue to grow toward a marriage that glorifies God, kept pure and centered on Him.

We also lift up her physical needs, her safety, and her studies, and we praise God that you have brought everything to Him in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. We trust His promise that With God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26 and For nothing spoken by God is impossible. Luke 1:37.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up this precious daughter to You. We ask You to grant her deep discernment and clarity regarding this friendship and to remove this jealous and ungodly influence swiftly and completely from her life today. Place a hedge of protection around her going out and coming in as You promise Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore. Psalm 121:8. Command Your angels concerning her to guard her in all her ways. Psalm 91:11. We ask You to redirect her steps onto the bright path You have anointed for her, for The path of the righteous is like the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 and Your word is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path. Psalm 119:105.

Father, we pray for pure, godly friendships from her classes that will uplift her faith, align with her studies, and respect her upbringing. Surround her with wise companions who sharpen her and encourage her in Christ. We thank You for her courtship and we ask You to bless and protect it, to keep it pure, and to lead it according to Your will toward a godly marriage that honors You. Grant her safety as she drives, wisdom and favor in her studies and lab work, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Keep her from overwork, grant her diligence and sweet rest, for You invite us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, for POTS and for all pain to be gone, for You have promised I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 and You forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases. Psalm 103:3. Fill her days with joy and let her trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6.

We thank You, Lord, that nothing is impossible for You and we put our faith and trust in You to keep her on the path You have prepared, to grant her peace and joy, and to answer according to Your perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We hear how much you love your younger daughter and how closely you are watching over her. You rejoice in the good you see in her life right now, her studies and lab work, a courtship with a young man who respects your family and shows understanding toward your son, and you want to guard her peace and health as she drives, studies and rests. It is understandable that a friendship that leaves her withdrawn and burdened, and now the pressure about moving in together, feels urgent and heavy.

One idea that helps many families in this kind of season is to think of boundaries as a property line around what God has entrusted to each of us, our values, time, energy and choices. Your daughter is learning to own her own yes and no, and you can come alongside that process with love. It can help to have a calm, curious conversation with her, asking how she feels after time with this friend, what she hopes for in her home and studies and courtship, and how she might kindly and clearly say no to living together if that is not right for her. Staying connected while giving her room to discern often strengthens her confidence to choose friendships that uplift her faith and respect her upbringing.

We also join you in praying for her health and encourage you to keep her medical team involved for the POTS and ongoing pain as you continue to pray for healing.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your protection over her going out and coming in. Keep her safe as she drives, give her wisdom and favor in her studies, and fill her days with peace and joy. Grant her clear discernment and courage to set healthy boundaries, provide faithful friends who encourage her, and give her both diligence and real rest. Ease her pain and draw her close to You each day. In Jesus name, Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace and thank the Lord with you for the mercies you have recounted. We rejoice to hear of a courtship that honors Christ, that respects the family and shows understanding and kindness toward your son, for such things are tokens of a work of grace and give confidence that the fear of the Lord is before them, which is a place of refuge and a fountain of confidence.

We lift your younger daughter to the Lord as you have asked, that He would keep her going out and coming in and give His angels charge over her to guard her in all her ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual to those who walk in the appointed ways of the Lord, and there is no safer path than separation from the ways of ungodly men and close walking with God. We pray that the Lord will keep her from all real injury as she keeps herself aloof from what would corrupt and cling to fellowship with Christ, for there cannot be true friendship except it be reciprocal with Him who proved His friendship by laying down His life, and obedience to His commands is the test of that friendship.

With you we pray for discernment, for as it is written, bad company corrupts good morals. We ask the Lord to give your daughter eyes to see the nature of this companionship which leaves her withdrawn and burdened, and to grant her strength to keep herself from her iniquity and from entanglements that would hinder her studies, her lab work and the bright path upon which the Lord has set her. We do not ask the Lord to bless a bond that would draw her into jealousy, ingratitude and disorder, but we ask Him in mercy to redirect and remove it swiftly and completely, and to provide in its place pure friendships from among those who will uplift her faith, align with her studies and respect the godly upbringing she has received. May she bind the law of her father and the instruction of her mother continually upon her heart, for that counsel is more precious than jewels and will keep her feet from straying.

We pray also for her daily life, for safety as she drives, for wisdom and favor in her studies and lab work, for diligence balanced with rest, that she may be kept from overwork and that peace and joy may fill her days. We ask the Lord, who has engraved His people upon the palms of His hands, to grant her healing from POTS and to take away pain according to His perfect will, remembering that everything from His dear hand, even the stroke of His rod, must mean love to His child, and that He is faithful to perform His gracious word.

We commit your whole household to Him who lifts the poor from the dunghill and casts down that which exalts itself against Him, trusting that nothing is impossible with Him. May He keep your daughter in composure of mind and freedom from fretfulness, her heart keeping its quiet pace as it delights itself in a faithful God, and may He establish the good work He has begun in her courtship toward that holy estate of marriage wherein one man and one woman are joined in lifelong covenant before Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our mercy, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
