Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for as you have said Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through him John 14:6. We are encouraged by your heart to pray not only for yourselves in this hardship but also for those who have opposed you, even the former landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives. This reflects the love Christ calls us to when he said to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matthew 5:44.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16 and we are commanded therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor for we are members of one another Ephesians 4:25. All liars will have their part outside the kingdom unless they repent, for all liars have their part in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur which is the second death Revelation 21:8. Dishonesty breaks down the conscience as you prayed, and only God can rebuild a heart that loves truth.

We also rejoice that you have clung to the truth that will set you free John 8:32 and to the sacrifice of the cross where Jesus shed his blood for us sinners. It is by that blood that both you and those who have wronged you can be forgiven if they repent and turn to Christ. We pray that they would see that honesty is not just a legal matter but a matter of eternity.

We pray together with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you with thanksgiving for your presence, for fighting for us and for blessing us with heavenly gifts. We thank you for the cross and the blood of Jesus shed for sinners. Lord we lift up this situation with the former landlord and with every lawyer and representative involved. You see every false word and every hidden motive. We ask that you would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty, that you would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth and grant them repentance. Let them know that the truth will make them free and deliver them from the consequences of lying. Father we also ask that you guard the hearts of those who have been wronged, keep them in your perfect peace, protect them from bitterness and help them to continue to show the same patience and kindness that you have shown to us, while trusting you for justice, for vengeance belongs to you Romans 12:19. Help them to continue to walk in truth and not lie to one another seeing that they have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9. We dedicate our lives to you anew and surrender our will to yours. May your will be done and may truth prevail for your glory. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in truth while entrusting the outcome to God who judges righteously. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. Keep praying for those who have acted dishonestly that they may come to repentance, and keep seeking the Lord for wisdom and protection through this legal hardship. He is faithful to lead you into all truth by his Spirit and to be your defender.

We appreciate you bringing this before the Lord so honestly. To have faced hardships with your former landlord's team and their lawyers and still ask God to grow honesty in them shows a gracious heart. We hear your desire not for payback but for truth to prevail and for these people to be spared the harder consequences that dishonesty brings.

It is meaningful that you have chosen patience and kindness even while the hurt is still real. That choice to act with grace does not mean the wound disappears overnight. Healing often unfolds gradually as we keep surrendering the situation to God and letting Him shape our responses day by day.

If matters with the former landlord are still unfolding, it can help to keep a simple, factual record of communications and to lean on a trusted, level headed advisor for any practical steps, even as you continue to entrust the outcome to the Lord.

Father, we thank You for this one who seeks Your will and trusts in Jesus. We ask You to guard their heart in peace and to guide their steps forward. Work in the hearts of the landlord's team and their representatives, turning them toward honesty and a love for what is true. Help all involved to walk in integrity and to know the freedom that comes with truth. We surrender this whole situation to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for truth to prevail is right and good in the sight of God, for our Lord Jesus is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and He is transparent from head to foot, truth in word and truth in deed. We join you in thanking the Father for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the precious blood shed on the Cross for sinners, without which no man can stand in honest dealing with a holy God.

You have asked well concerning those who have dealt dishonestly. Scripture tells us plainly to buy the truth and sell it not, for your Word is truth, and to have fellowship with God while walking in darkness is to lie and not do the truth. A refuge of lies will not stand, for the hail shall sweep it away, and a cold hard truth of God falling like a hailstone will crash right through all false confidence. Lies are indeed serious before the Lord, who desires truth in the inward parts, and we ought to pray that all men may be brought to that honest ground where confession is made and the atoning blood is trusted.

We praise God that He has given you grace to show patience and kindness even in hardship, for this is to overcome evil with good. Continue in that way, remembering that truth never exerts such power as when it is embodied in a life. Let your own walk be in the light, confessing sin as sin, and resting wholly upon Christ who died for sinners, for on that footing of truth the Lord will meet with you through His Son.

So we pray with you. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would work in the hearts of this former landlord and all those joined with him, the team and lawyers and representatives, that You would build in them a hatred for falsehood and a love for honesty. Open their eyes to see that truth will set them free, and that no limit can be set to the power which lies in the divine expiation of Christ. Bring them to honest dealing with You and with men, that they may forsake every refuge of lies and come to Him who is the King of Truth. And keep Your children who pray, that they may buy the truth at any price, hold it fast, live it, and surrender their will wholly to You. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.
