Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for we agree that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through him. John 14:6

We are grateful for your thankful heart and for your desire to show patience and kindness even while facing hardships and dealing with dishonesty. That is the heart of Christ in you, to overcome evil with good and to love those who have wronged you while still standing for truth. We commend you for recognizing that lies are indeed serious before God and not small matters.

Scripture is very clear about dishonesty. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who deal truly are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9 And we are warned that all liars will have their part outside of God's kingdom unless they repent, for God desires truth in our innermost being. Revelation 21:8

You are right that in order to continue in lies and to commit further wrongdoing, a person must harden their conscience and break down their resistance to dishonesty. We agree with you in asking the Lord to rebuild that resistance and to convict hearts. We also cling to the promise that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 When eyes are opened to the truth of Christ and to the truth of their own sin, there is freedom from the bondage and consequences of lying.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you and thank you for your presence in our lives, for fighting for us, and for blessing us with heavenly gifts. Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, you see the situation with the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. You know every false word that has been spoken and every hardship that has been endured. We ask that you would work in their hearts, build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, and help them to practice honesty and integrity. Open their eyes to the truth that sets free so they will turn from lying and not suffer its consequences. Convict them of sin and draw them to repentance and to the truth of Christ.

Father, we also lift up those who have been wronged and have endured this trial. Strengthen them to continue to show patience and kindness as you have shown to us, while also standing firmly for truth and justice. Help them to speak the truth in love and to trust that vengeance belongs to you and you will repay. Romans 12:19 Give them peace as they surrender their lives and will to you, knowing that you are their defender and that you will bring what is hidden into the light. Let your will be done in this legal matter and let truth prevail for your glory.

We dedicate our lives to you anew and surrender our will to yours. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our truth and our life. Amen.

We were grateful to read your prayer. You are carrying a difficult situation with the landlord's team and legal representatives, and yet your first words are thanks to God for His presence and for the cross. That posture stands out to us.

We also notice how you are praying not just for your own relief but for those who have not been truthful with you, asking that God would strengthen their resistance to dishonesty and open their eyes to the freedom that comes with honesty. Choosing to respond with patience and kindness when you have been wronged is not easy, and it is a real decision of the will. The hurt and frustration around it can still linger while you live with the hardships, and it is understandable if peace comes gradually as you keep walking this out day by day.

As you continue through the legal process, it may help to keep clear, simple records of what has happened and to have a trusted, wise person alongside you to review things with you, so you do not have to hold all the details alone. We will keep praying with you for truth to be made plain and for wisdom for everyone involved.

Father, we bring this situation before You in Jesus' name. Thank You for Your grace in our lives. We ask You to guard these friends in truth, give them steadiness and wisdom in the days ahead, and work in the hearts of all involved to love honesty. Lead them in Your will and keep them close to You. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life.

We thank God with you for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the heavenly gifts which come through the blood of the Cross shed for sinners. We thank Him also for the grace He has already given you, that though you have faced hardships you have been enabled to show patience and kindness to those who have opposed you. This is to overcome evil with good, and it is the lesson saints must first learn, to repay unkindness with forbearance, looking to Him who overcame for us.

You have rightly called lies what they are, serious crimes before a holy God. The Scripture says, Buy the truth and sell it not, and again, Your word is truth. Doctrinal truth, experimental truth within the heart, and practical truth in the life and conduct are not to be parted with at any price. Truth never exerts such power as when it is embodied, and Christ did not merely speak the truth, He was the Truth, transparent from head to foot, truth in word and truth in deed. To know Him as King of Truth is to have the understanding ruled by His doctrine and the life ruled by His integrity. May you be kept in that honest dealing with God where confession is made and the truth is within, for he that confesses his sin shall find mercy, and the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin.

We will pray with you for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives, that the Lord in mercy would build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and teach them to practice honesty. Lies require the breaking down of conscience, but grace can restore it. We ask that their eyes may be opened to see that the truth shall make them free, and that they may come to honest dealing with God upon the ground of truth, confessing what is truly so and laying hold on Christ who died for sinners. God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believes in Jesus, for justice has been satisfied at Gethsemane and at Calvary, and there pardon may be found upon repentance.

Be encouraged to continue in submission to the will of God and in trust in Him when the storm is high. Fear of man is taken away when we remember that all things are in His hand, and faith grows strong as we rest there. Continue valiant for the truth, for the war between right and wrong must be continued until truth has the victory, yet fight it with the weapons of prayer, patience and a consistent life.

We commend you to Him who loves truth in the inward parts and dedicate you anew to His service with you, surrendering your will to His good and perfect will.

O Lord, who art the God of truth without iniquity, just and right art Thou, look upon Thy servant and upon those who have dealt dishonestly. Convict them of sin, grant them repentance and love of truth, and deliver all from the consequences of lying by bringing them to the Truth Himself. Keep Thy child walking in honesty, in patience and in kindness, trusting Thee to vindicate and to provide. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.
