Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join with you in coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for acknowledging that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6. It is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only by His blood shed on the cross that we sinners are forgiven and can stand before a holy God, and we rejoice that you have centered your prayer on Him.

We agree with you that dishonesty is a serious matter before God, not merely a small fault. Scripture is very clear about this. Proverbs 12:22 tells us lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Proverbs 19:5 warns a false witness shall not be unpunished, and he who pours out lies shall not go free. Jesus taught us the source of lies when He said in John 8:44 that the devil is a liar and the father of lies, while Christ Himself is truth. Therefore we understand your burden for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives who you feel have chosen dishonesty and have hardened themselves against conscience in order to do so.

We commend you for the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to those who have caused you hardship, for this reflects Christ. We are reminded in Ephesians 4:25, therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. And in Colossians 3:9 we are exhorted do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. God calls all people to put away deceit and to walk in truth, and we share your desire that their resistance to dishonesty would be built up again.

We also hold to the promise you quoted that truth sets us free, for Jesus said in John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Lies may seem to offer temporary advantage but they bring bondage and consequences, while honesty brings freedom and favor with God. We pray that their eyes would be opened to this reality before they suffer the heavier consequences of persistent lying, for Revelation 21:8 shows how seriously God views unrepentant lying.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before you and thank you for your presence in our lives and for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts through the sacrifice of your Son. Lord, you see the situation with this landlord and the legal representatives. You know every word spoken and every deed done in secret. We ask that you would convict each heart that has chosen dishonesty, that you would break through the hardness and restore a godly resistance to lying. Help them to love truth, to practice honesty, and to turn from falsehood to integrity. Open their eyes to know that truth will make them free, and grant them repentance leading to life. For our brothers and sisters who have been wronged, we ask that you give them continued patience, wisdom, peace, and protection. Let justice be done according to your righteousness, for you have said in Romans 12:19 vengeance belongs to you and you will repay. Help them to trust you as their advocate and defender, to not grow bitter, but to remain steadfast in kindness and truth, surrendering their will and their lives fully to you. May your will be done in this legal matter and may your name be glorified through honest resolution. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth yourselves, to speak the truth in love, and to entrust this matter to the Lord who is both just and merciful. Continue to pray for those who oppose you, that they may come to repentance, and continue to seek godly counsel and act with integrity in all your dealings. The Lord sees, He hears, and He is faithful to uphold those who honor Him.

We appreciate the honest and gracious way you brought this to the Lord. Facing dishonesty from a landlord's team and legal representatives, especially when it touches your home and sense of security, is deeply wearing, and it means a lot that you are choosing to pray for their honesty rather than holding onto bitterness.

We notice you thanked God for His presence even in hardship and for the grace to show patience and kindness to those who have made things difficult. That kind of steady posture is not easy, and it is understandable if you still feel tired or unsettled as the process continues.

One thing that may help in this season is to keep clear, simple records of what has happened and to stay connected to one or two trusted, wise people who can walk with you through the practical and legal steps, so you are not carrying the weight alone. It can also help to give yourselves regular time to rest and be renewed as you continue to surrender this to God.

Father, we bring this situation to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to guard these friends with Your peace, to give them wisdom and steadiness in each step ahead, and to work in the hearts of all involved so that truth is honored and honesty is chosen. Lead them according to Your will and keep them close to You. Amen.

Your prayer is a right and needful one, for our God is a God of truth and His Word is truth. You have done well to bring this matter of dishonesty before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, who is Himself the way, the truth and the life, and through whose blood shed upon the cross sinners are forgiven.

The Scripture bids us buy the truth and sell it not, and to have truth in doctrine, truth in the heart and truth in the life. Lies are not light matters before the Lord, for a lying tongue is an abomination to Him, and he who would walk in the light must have truth in his inward parts. You speak wisely that to persist in falsehood a man must break down all resistance of conscience. It is the gracious work of the Spirit of God to build up that resistance anew and to teach the soul to hate every false way. To confess the truth as it is, both concerning our own sin and concerning Christ who died for sinners, is the only ground upon which God will meet with us through the atoning blood.

I commend the grace which has been given you to meet hardship with patience and kindness toward the landlord's team and the lawyers and representatives. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the way of Christ. Continue therein, remembering that the truth shall indeed make men free, while falsehood brings bondage and will surely bring its consequences unless repented of. Honest dealing with God and with man is the path of peace.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your presence with Your people and for the heavenly gifts which come through Jesus Christ. We thank You for the sacrifice of the cross and for grace shown to us when we were yet sinners. We bring before You this cause and the hardships that have been endured, and we ask You to sustain Your servants and keep them in Your truth. We entreat You also for the landlord's team and for lawyers and legal representatives, that You would open their eyes to see that truth sets free and that dishonesty brings sorrow and judgment. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty in all their dealings. Let all that has been hidden be brought into the light, that justice and righteousness may prevail according to Your will. We dedicate our lives to You and surrender our will to Yours. Hear us for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
