Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer and are deeply encouraged by your heart for truth and for those who have wronged you. You have come before the Father in the right way, through Jesus who said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. We give thanks with you for His presence, for His fighting for us, and for the sacrifice of the cross where His blood was shed for us sinners.

You are right to call dishonesty what it is. Scripture is very clear that lies are not small matters. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22 and You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. When people choose to lie, especially in legal matters where justice and the lives of others are affected, they must harden their conscience and break down the resistance to sin that God placed within us. Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25.

We also hear your grace in the midst of hardship, that God has enabled you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even as you have suffered. That is Christlike, and we pray God continues to guard your heart from bitterness while you still seek what is right and true. We remember the promise, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. We pray that freedom comes both to you and to them, for dishonesty binds the one who practices it and will bring consequences unless there is repentance.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and agree with this prayer for truth to prevail. Lord, You see all that has been done in secret and You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask that You build up in the hearts of this landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives, a holy resistance to dishonesty. Convict them of every false word and every serious wrong, open their eyes to see that truth is not only a legal standard but Your very nature, and grant them repentance that they may turn and practice honesty. Protect all proceedings from deceit and let righteousness shine out like light, and justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:6. We also surrender our own will to You, as our brother and sister has prayed, and we commit our way to You and trust in You to act. Psalm 37:5. Give to those who have been wronged peace, endurance, and wisdom to respond with grace and integrity, leaving vengeance to You, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. Let Your will be done and let truth set all involved free.

We encourage you to continue to walk in this surrender and to trust that God is both your defender and the one who can change the hearts of those who oppose you. Keep praying for them, speak truth in love, and keep seeking counsel that honors God. He is faithful to bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect time. We stand with you for honesty to be restored and for God's justice and mercy to be displayed.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the way you are bringing this difficult situation with your ###'s team before the Lord. Facing dishonesty, especially when it involves legal matters and people you have to deal with repeatedly, is wearying and it makes sense you would ask God to work in their hearts toward truth.

We noticed you named both the burden of what has happened and the grace you have been given to respond with patience and kindness. Holding onto honesty while also choosing not to return wrong for wrong takes real endurance, and it is understandable if you feel tired by it.

One thing that has helped others in prolonged disputes is keeping a simple, steady record as you go. Keeping dated notes of conversations, saving written communications when you can, and talking through next steps with a trusted, wise advisor can bring clarity and protect your peace while you continue to pray for truth to prevail.

Father, we bring this situation to You and ask for Your help for each person involved. Work in the hearts of the ###'s team and their representatives that they would turn toward honesty, and guard these friends from harm and discouragement. Give them wisdom for each decision, strength to keep walking in patience and kindness, and peace as they trust You with what they cannot control. We surrender this with them to You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

We join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, thanking God for the work He has already done in your heart. You have rightly come in the name of Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life, and who shed His blood on the cross for sinners. It is a good and precious thing that you desire truth, for our God is abundant in goodness and truth, and He cannot lie. As the Scripture says, Your Word is Truth, and sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one promise of our God shall fall to the ground.

You have asked well. Holy Scripture bids us, Buy the truth and sell it not. This is not only doctrinal truth to be believed, but experimental truth to be felt in the heart, and practical truth to be lived in the life, with actions consistent and straightforward. Christ did not merely speak the truth, He is Truth itself, transparent in word and in deed. To have truth in the doctrine, truth in the heart, truth in the life, and Christ who is the Truth to be our treasure forever, this is the purchase we must make at any price.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You for Your presence, for fighting for Your people, and for heavenly gifts bestowed by grace. We confess that all deceit is sin before Your holy eyes, and that the heart is deceitful and readily makes the worse appear the better reason. Lord, we ask You to work honestly in us and in those of whom this prayer speaks. Grant to the landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives, a renewed resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Open their eyes to see that truth will set us free, and that honest dealing with God and with man is the only ground upon which You will meet with us through the atoning blood. Let the truth be in them, and not merely on their lips.

For our brother and sister who prays, we ask for sustaining grace. You have given them grace to show patience and kindness even in hardship, and in so doing to overcome evil with good. Strengthen that grace. Take from them all fear of man, and strengthen their faith to trust You in the storm, to submit to Your will, and to remember that You allow nothing without purpose for Your glory and their good. Help them to continue as soldiers of truth, valiant for what is right, holding fast the Word of Truth without picking and choosing, but buying all the truth and holding it dear.

May the Spirit of God help all concerned to come to You on the ground of truth, confessing sin where sin has been, and looking to Christ who died for sinners, that You may smile upon them through Him. Keep this dear soul in Your truth, and let truth abiding within bear fruit in a consistent life.
