Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and it is only through His shed blood on the cross that we sinners are forgiven and reconciled to God.

We agree with you that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6 and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. We rejoice with you in thanking Him for His presence, for fighting for us, and for blessing us with every spiritual blessing.

We also agree with you about the seriousness of lies. The Scripture is very clear that God desires truth and hates deceit. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22. We are commanded to put away falsehood and speak truth with our neighbor for we are members of one another Ephesians 4:25 and to not lie to one another Colossians 3:9. Our Lord also warns that all liars will have their part outside of His kingdom Revelation 21:8, which shows how seriously He views dishonesty and why your prayer for these souls is so loving and so needed.

We are deeply encouraged by the grace God has given you to show patience and kindness to your landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives even while facing hardship. This reflects the heart of Christ who calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us Matthew 5:44 and to not repay evil for evil but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. To pray for those who have wronged you instead of seeking vengeance is a powerful testimony of the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in you.

We join you in praying that God will build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. We pray that He will open their eyes to know the truth, for Jesus said you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. May they see that lies may seem to bring short term advantage but they bring bondage and consequences, while truth brings freedom and life.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. Lord, You are the God of truth and there is no unrighteousness in You. We lift up this landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives involved. We ask that You convict their hearts where there has been dishonesty and that You turn them from falsehood to truth. Build up in them a hatred for lying and a hunger for integrity. Open their eyes to see that truth will set them free and that honesty honors You. Let Your Spirit restrain every scheme of deceit and let righteousness and justice prevail in this legal matter. Protect Your children who have shown patience and kindness, strengthen them to continue walking in love and to trust You as their defender and judge. Help us all to surrender our will to Yours daily and to walk in the light as You are in the light. We dedicate this situation and our lives anew to You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in truth while showing Christlike love, trusting that God sees all and will bring justice in His perfect timing. Keep speaking the truth in love Ephesians 4:15 and committing your cause to Him who judges righteously.

We were grateful to read your prayer. In the middle of a difficult situation with your landlord's team and legal representatives, you are still choosing thankfulness, surrender to God, and even prayer for those who have been dishonest toward you. That kind of posture takes grace, and we don't take it lightly.

It makes sense that this feels heavy. When truth has been disregarded, it can leave you carrying both the practical hardship and the emotional weight of wanting what is right while also wanting to keep your heart free from bitterness. Choosing to release the desire for revenge and to wish good for others, even while you still seek what is true and just, is a process. It often happens as a quiet decision first, and the peace around it catches up more slowly over time.

One thing that can help in this season is to not carry the practical and spiritual burden alone. Keep bringing the facts and your concerns to God daily, and if you haven't already, lean on one trusted, wise person who can walk with you through the legal details so you have clarity and support.

Father, we thank You for the way You have sustained these friends and given them grace to show patience. We ask You to guard their hearts with Your peace, give them wisdom for each next step, and work honesty and clarity in all involved. Lead them and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your desire to see truth prevail is itself a mark of grace, for our Lord Jesus Christ is not only a speaker of truth but Truth itself, the way, the truth and the life. You have done well to bring this burden before Him who is the King of Truth, transparent in word and in deed, and whose kingdom is over all those whose hearts are set upon righteousness.

Lies are indeed serious before the Lord, for to lie is to offend against His very nature. Holy Scripture tells us to buy the truth and sell it not. This is to be understood not only as doctrinal truth according to the Word of God, but as truth in the heart and truth in the life, our actions being consistent and of a right and straightforward course. You are right to pray that those who have yielded to dishonesty would have their resistance to it built up again, for every act of falsehood breaks down the conscience until men forget that God requires truth in the inward parts.

We join you in praying that the Lord would grant to the landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives, the gift of honest dealing with God and with men. May the Spirit of God convince them that the truth will indeed set free, while falsehood binds and brings its own just consequences. There is no meeting with God upon the ground of falsehood. He will meet a man where truth is and nowhere else, when we confess that we have sinned and when we look to the atoning blood of Christ who has satisfied justice for every repenting sinner. God can be just and yet the justifier of him who believes in Jesus.

We also thank God for the grace He has already given you to show patience and kindness under hardship. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the first lesson of the saints. Continue in it, yet never at the price of truth. Hold fast to practical truth, buy it at any price, and let your own life be ruled by the truth of His doctrine, the truth of His life, and the truth of His person. The war between right and wrong must be continued, and we must be valiant for God and for His truth, knowing that truth embodied in a faithful life is powerful through the Spirit of God.

Be of good courage and trust the Lord in this storm. He sees what is done in secret, He fights for His people, and His justice is unimpeachable. He will not despise the honest confession of a broken heart, and He will not leave falsehood unjudged except it be repented of and washed in the blood of the Lamb.

We pray with you that the eyes of all involved may be opened, that they may come to love the truth, practice honesty, and find mercy through confession and faith in Christ. May the Lord keep you steadfast, establish you in His Word which is truth, and give you peace as you surrender your will to Him.

O Lord, Thou who art Truth, reign over every heart concerned in this matter. Convict of sin where there has been dishonesty, grant repentance and a love for that which is true and right, and let Thy justice and Thy mercy be displayed, to the glory of Thy Son who shed His blood for sinners.
