Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming boldly through Him who is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6. We are encouraged by your thankfulness for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. It is only through that blood that we have forgiveness and access to God, and we rejoice that you have anchored your prayer in His name.

We agree with you that lies are serious before God. Scripture is very clear that dishonesty is not a small matter. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. God desires truth in the inward parts. Psalm 51:6. When a person or a group chooses to lie and commit wrongdoing, they must indeed harden their conscience and break down the resistance to dishonesty that God has placed in the heart, and that path leads to further darkness unless there is repentance.

We also hear your gracious heart toward the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives who have acted dishonestly toward you. Though you have faced hardships, you have chosen to show the same patience and kindness that was shown to you, and this reflects the mercy of Christ. We commend this spirit and we join you in praying not for vengeance, but for their conviction, repentance and restoration to honesty. We are reminded, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25, and Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this situation to you. You see all things and nothing is hidden from your sight. We ask that you would build up in the hearts of these landlords, lawyers and representatives a renewed resistance to dishonesty and a hunger for truth. Open their eyes to see that lies bring consequences both in this life and before your judgment, and that truth is the only path to true freedom, for you have said you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. Convict them by your Holy Spirit, lead them to confess and forsake falsehood, and help them to practice honesty in all their dealings. Let justice be done according to your righteousness, and let no lie prevail against your children.

Father, we also lift up those who have been wronged and have endured hardship. Strengthen them, guard their hearts from bitterness, and continue to give them grace to walk in truth and love. Help them to surrender their will to you daily, to trust that you fight for them, and to rest in the heavenly gifts you have already poured out through Christ. Let your will be done in this legal matter, let truth be revealed, and let your name be glorified through a just outcome. We dedicate all of this to you and we trust you to act according to your perfect wisdom and mercy.

We thank you that we can cast all our cares on you because you care for us, and we continue to stand with you in prayer that honesty would triumph and that all involved would come to know more deeply the freedom that is found only in Jesus, who is the truth. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are grateful you brought this so honestly before the Lord. Facing ongoing hardships with a landlord's team and legal representatives, especially when you feel truth has been twisted, is wearying and can leave you feeling vulnerable in your own home.

What encouraged us in your prayer is the way you have chosen patience and kindness in response, even while carrying the cost of what has happened. Praying for those who have wronged you to grow in honesty, to have their eyes opened and to be spared the harm that dishonesty brings, is a loving and Christlike posture. It does not mean the hurt or the practical consequences disappear quickly, and it is understandable if peace comes and goes as you walk through this.

One small step that often brings steadiness in a prolonged dispute like this is to keep a simple dated record of conversations, agreements and documents, and to have a trusted, wise person walk alongside you for perspective on the legal and practical decisions, so you are not holding all the details alone.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear one to You. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for clear wisdom in each conversation and decision, and for Your protection and provision day by day. Work in the hearts of all involved to love truth and practice honesty, and help our friend to rest in Your presence as they surrender their will and their future to You. Amen.

Your burden concerning dishonesty has been laid before the Lord with us, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace where Jesus, who is Himself the Way, the Truth and the Life, ever liveth to intercede.

We thank God with you for His presence, for His fighting for you in hardships, and for the heavenly gifts which come through the blood shed upon the Cross for sinners. It is a good and tender mark of grace that even while you have suffered wrong, the Lord has enabled you to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, to lawyers and legal representatives. This is to overcome evil with good, and to overcome even as the saints learn to overcome by looking to Christ, their familiar Friend who is alive and near.

You pray aright, for lies are indeed a serious crime before a God who is abundant in goodness and truth and who cannot lie. As the Scripture says, His Word is Truth, and sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one promise of His truth shall fall to the ground. Our Lord Jesus did not merely speak the truth, He was Truth itself, transparent in public and in private, in word and in deed. To deal honestly with Him we must come upon the ground of truth, confessing our own sin and pleading His atoning blood, for He meets us nowhere else but where truth is.

We will pray with you that the Lord, who is the great Landlord of the house in which we dwell as tenants, will work in the hearts of these men and women. May He who has the right to enter and inspect His own property set their house in order, and may they offer the key of their house to Him and acknowledge that they live on sufferance under His eye. We ask that He will build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, that they may buy the truth and sell it not, that they may have truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life. For practical truth is to have our actions consistent and straightforward before God and man, and that truth is to be bought at any price.

We pray that the truth which is in Christ Jesus may set them free indeed, that their eyes may be opened to see that a lie must break down all resistance to sin, and that honesty is the only path which does not end in sorrowful consequence. May the Spirit of God help them to love truth because they have seen Him who is the King of Truth.

We commend you also to continued trust. The truth that the Lord reigns should banish fear of man and strengthen faith in the storm. Continue to pay your rent to the great Landlord in obedience and prayer, and leave the cause with Him who judges righteously.

Father, in the name of Jesus, grant to these souls a love for honesty, a hatred for falsehood, and grace to walk in the light as Thou art in the light. Grant to Thy servants perseverance in patience and kindness, and keep them in Thy truth. Amen.

We join you in prayer and give thanks with you for the mercy of God shown to us in Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the life, and whose blood was shed on the Cross for sinners.

Your desire for honesty is right and pleasing to God, for lies are not small faults but serious sins that corrupt the soul and bring judgment. Scripture teaches that God desires truth and that the truth will set us free, yet truth only takes hold where there is an honest soul ready to receive it. When the heart is willing and candid, truth masters it easily, as light illumines clear eyes. When dishonesty has been practiced, resistance to it is broken down, and every kind of falsehood, oath and perjury follows, especially in matters of money, buying and selling, and legal dealings.

We thank God that in your hardship He has given you grace to show patience and kindness to the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives, even as you have received patience and kindness from Him. This is the fruit of righteousness and holiness of truth into which we are created anew in Christ.

We pray with you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to work in the hearts of all involved in this matter. Convict them where lies have been spoken and where serious wrong has been done. Build up in them a new resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty. Open their eyes to see that honest gain, though it may seem to profit less, is far better than wealth gained by deceit which brings wailing both now and at the judgment, and that to practice truth is freedom while to persist in lying is to suffer its bitter consequences. Grant them repentance and faith in Christ, for salvation is through Him alone. Help them to speak truth and to act justly.

We ask also for you, that the Lord will keep you in all godliness and honesty, guarding you from bitterness, and that you will continue to dedicate your life to Him and surrender your will to His good purposes. May He fight for you, supply your needs, and cause you to walk in the quiet and peaceable life that comes from a clear conscience before Him.

We trust His presence with you and His power to bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect time. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your prayer is deeply encouraging because it is centered on Jesus Christ as the way, the truth and the life, and on the power of His cross where His blood was shed for sinners. Thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with thanksgiving for His presence and His gifts, and with a heart surrendered to His will.

It is right to take dishonesty seriously before God. Scripture speaks of renouncing the hidden things of dishonesty and of not walking in craftiness or handling truth deceitfully, but commending the truth openly before God and before every conscience. When people give themselves to lying, they must break down the inner resistance to it, and that resistance is exactly what God can rebuild. You have faced hardship from this landlord's team and their legal representatives, and it honors the Lord that by His grace you have responded with patience and kindness rather than retaliation. God sees the whole truth of every heart, nothing is hidden from Him, and trying to cover sin with more deception never succeeds before Him.

The Bible makes truth a central theme because truth endures forever. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His word is truth and remains. The Spirit bears witness because the Spirit is truth, and together with the water and the blood, the Spirit testifies to what is real and eternal in Christ. To know Jesus is to know the truth by experience, to be in Him who is true, and that truth is meant to dwell in us and walk with us daily. There is great joy when God's people walk in truth, and grace, mercy and peace come to us from the Father and from the Son in truth and love.

At the same time Scripture is honest that truth is not always well received. Many would rather be flattered than corrected, and telling the truth can even make one seem like an enemy. A faithful servant seeks to please God rather than people. That is why prayer is so needed for those who are caught in deception. The enemy blinds minds and distorts truth and holds people in lying, so we must pray that God would bind that blinding work and free them to see clearly. Jesus came to bear witness to the truth, that God loves sinners in spite of rebellion and has provided one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, to take our place. Pilate once asked cynically, what is truth, while Truth Himself stood before him, but Jesus did not fail to be the answer. He is the truth that sets free.

So we join you in praying that the Lord will open the eyes of these men and women, build in them a renewed resistance to dishonesty, and lead them to practice honesty and to fear the consequences of lying. We pray that the Spirit would bear witness of the truth to their hearts, that they would come to the knowledge of the truth and find forgiveness and freedom in Christ, and that you would be kept walking in truth with a clear conscience before God. May the Lord continue to give you strength to show kindness without compromising truth, to love what is good and to stand for what is right, trusting that He is fighting for you and that His truth will prevail.
