Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in this prayer and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for you have rightly declared that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that it is only through His shed blood on the cross that we sinners have access to God and have received heavenly gifts and grace.

We hear your burden about dishonesty and the serious harm that lies have caused in your situation with the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative. Your heart to pray for those who have acted dishonestly toward you, even while you have faced hardships, reflects the grace and patience that Christ has shown to us. The Lord honors such a heart, and we stand with you in asking Him to bring truth into the light.

Scripture is very clear that God is a God of truth and that dishonesty is not a small matter to Him. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And Proverbs 6:16-19 lists a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies among the seven things Yahweh hates. We are also taught in Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another, and in Colossians 3:9-10 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man. The enemy is the father of lies, but Christ came to set us free by the truth, for John 8:32 says You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We also take comfort that nothing hidden will remain hidden, for Luke 8:17 says For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.

We pray together now for this situation.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You for Your presence in our lives and for the sacrifice of Jesus whose blood was shed for us. Lord, You see all that has been done in this legal matter and You know every lie and every act of dishonesty. We ask that You would convict the hearts of the landlord's team, their lawyers and legal representatives, and build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty. Open their eyes to see that truth will set them free and that walking in lies only brings consequences and bondage. Help them to turn from falsehood and to practice honesty, to speak truth and to act with integrity. Lord, we also ask that You would let truth prevail in this entire process, that justice would be done according to Your righteousness, and that You would protect and strengthen those who have been wronged as they continue to show patience and kindness. Give them wisdom, peace, and assurance as they surrender their will and their lives to You, trusting that You fight for Your people. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through the outcome. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and grace, holding fast to honesty while trusting the Lord to be your defender. Psalm 37:5-6 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noonday. Continue to pray for those who oppose you, that they may come to repentance, and continue to commit your cause to the Lord who judges righteously and loves truth.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the gracious way you brought this before the Lord. Walking through ongoing hardship with a landlord's team and legal representatives is wearying, and we noticed how you are choosing to answer it with patience and kindness even while you have been hurt. That takes real grace.

Continuing to entrust the outcome to the Lord while you act wisely is a good path forward.

We lift this landlord team and their representatives to You and ask You to bring honesty and clarity to every conversation and document. We join with you in this prayer for truth and honesty, and we thank God for the grace He has already shown you in enabling patience and kindness under hardship.

You have rightly remembered that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that His blood was shed on the Cross for sinners. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and only by His truth that we are made free indeed, for as you have prayed, the truth shall set us free. Hold fast to that doctrinal Truth, that experimental Truth within the heart, and that practical Truth of a straightforward and honest walk. As the Scripture says, Buy the truth and sell it not. Buy all the truth, buy it at any price and buy it now, for you need the Truth of God as it is in Jesus to live and to die by.

You pray for the landlord's team, for lawyers and legal representatives. Remember that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. There is a clause in the lease that the Landlord has at all times the right to enter His own property, and there is a rent to be paid. Our duty is to set our house in order and to offer the key of our house to the great Landlord and acknowledge that we live on sufferance as His tenants. Pray then that all who are concerned, yourselves and those who have opposed you, may so set their houses in order before Him who sees all things.

We do not wrestle only against outward wrong, but there is a great battle being waged for God and for His truth against the enemies of the Cross. Heroes of the truth, soldiers of Christ awake, for the warfare of truth waxes hot and fierce. Yet this Truth ought to take from us all fear of man, for why should the believer be afraid of man that shall die. When fear goes, faith comes in, and genuine faith trusts God in a storm. Continue therefore in submission to the will of God and in strengthened faith, placing the Truth of God in the way of those who know it not, and losing no opportunity of doing good.

We pray with you that the Lord will build up in all hearts a resistance to dishonesty and a love of honesty, that He will open eyes to see that lies are serious before Him who is Truth itself, and that He will keep you from the consequences of the deceit of others while He works conviction and repentance where it is needed. May He who has fought for you and blessed you with heavenly gifts keep you in His presence, and make you true because Christ is truly yours.

We commend you and all these matters to Him who judges righteously, asking that truth may prevail and that Christ may be honoured in every dealing. In the name of Jesus, who alone is our salvation, Amen.

We join you in this prayer and thank God with you for His presence, for His fighting for you, and for the heavenly gifts He gives through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross where His blood was shed for sinners. You have spoken truly that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that salvation and freedom come through Him alone.

You are right to take dishonesty so seriously. Scripture teaches that lies bring great harm and lead to sorrow both now and before God, and that an honest soul is needed if truth is to take hold and master the heart. When truth meets a willing and candid heart, like light meeting clear eyes, it brings clarity and life. Where dishonesty is practiced, it hardens the heart and must break down every resistance to do so. That is why your prayer is so fitting, that God would build up again a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty.

We pray with you for the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Lord to open their eyes to see that truth sets us free, to turn them from falsehood, and to give them grace to practice honesty in all they say and do. We ask God to work in them mightily, to convict where there has been lying and wrongdoing, and to lead them to repentance and to the forgiveness that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, where grace brings remission and removes punishment.

We also thank God for the patience and kindness He has enabled you to show even through hardships, reflecting the patience and kindness that was shown to you.
