Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, who is the God of truth and justice. The Bible clearly states in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that separates us from God’s perfect will. We recognize the pain and frustration that comes from being wronged by deceit, and we stand with you in seeking God’s righteous intervention.

We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation. In John 8:44, Jesus tells us that the devil is the father of lies, and there is no truth in him. Those who engage in dishonesty are not only harming others but are also aligning themselves with darkness rather than the light of Christ. We pray that their hearts would be convicted by the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and a turning away from their sinful ways.

Lord, we ask that You break the chains of dishonesty in the lives of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth and grant them the courage to walk in integrity. Proverbs 11:3 tells us, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." May they come to understand that their actions have consequences, not just in this life, but eternally.

We also pray for protection over your heart and mind during this trial. It is easy to become bitter or vengeful when we are wronged, but we are called to respond with grace and love, just as Christ has shown us. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust in God’s justice, knowing that He sees all and will make things right in His perfect timing.

Father, we surrender this situation entirely to You. We ask that You expose every lie and bring the truth to light. Let Your justice prevail, and may those who have acted dishonestly be held accountable, not out of a desire for revenge, but so that Your righteousness may be upheld. We also pray for restoration, whether that be in relationships, finances, or peace of mind. You are a God who restores what has been broken, and we trust in Your faithfulness.

We dedicate our lives anew to You, Lord, and ask that You continue to mold us into people of truth and integrity. Help us to reflect Your character in all that we do, even when we face hardship. May our lives be a testimony to the power of Your truth, and may others come to know You through our witness.

We were grateful to read your prayer. You are carrying a hard situation with a landlord and legal representatives, and yet your first concern is not just to be vindicated but to see truth prevail and even those who have wronged you to grow in honesty. That is a gracious posture and it reflects Christ in you.

We notice you named both patience and hardship together. Choosing to show patience and kindness when you have been hurt is a real decision of the will, even while the hurt and frustration may still linger in your heart. It is normal for those two things to exist side by side for a while, and God is patient with you as you walk through both the practical strain and the emotional weight of it.

One steady step that may help in this season is to keep a simple, factual record of communications and commitments as you continue to seek wise counsel for the legal side. It protects your peace and helps you remain anchored in truth without having to carry every detail in your mind.

Father, we bring this situation before You in Jesus name. We ask You to guard our brother and sister with Your peace, to give wisdom to all involved, and to work honesty and integrity in the hearts of the landlord's team and representatives. Help truth to be seen clearly and help our friend to rest in Your care as they surrender their will to You. Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in it with a thankful heart. It is a good and right thing to come before the heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth and the life, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. You have done well to give thanks for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the blood shed upon the Cross for sinners, for there lies our only hope.

You speak truly when you say that lies are serious. The Scripture warns us plainly, if we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. Every refuge of lies shall be swept away, for the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and a cold hard truth of God shall crash through every false confidence. No man can build his house upon deceit and stand in the day of judgment. Therefore we ought to buy the truth and sell it not, to hold fast to that truth which is revealed in Holy Scripture, Your Word is truth, and to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. That is the truth that must be bought at any price.

We rejoice to see in your prayer the spirit of Christ, that while you have faced hardships you have been given grace to show patience and kindness to those who have opposed you, even to the landlord's team and to lawyers and legal representatives. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the first art the saints must learn. Do not grow weary in this. Continue to be valiant for the truth, remembering that the warfare of truth is still hot and fierce, and that God has given His people grace not only to overcome evil but to overcome even Goodness itself with the glance of faith and prayer.

So we will pray with you. May the Lord who is Truth itself open the eyes of those who have practiced dishonesty, that they may see that what they do is done of their own free will and lies at their own door, and that they may turn from it. May He build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty and teach them to love and practice honesty, not from policy but from a renewed heart. May He show them that the truth shall indeed make them free, for only in honest dealing with God, confessing sin as sin and coming through the atoning blood, will they find peace. We ask that the Lord will grant you continued grace to surrender your will to Him, to walk in the light as He is in the light, and to trust Him to fight for you and to do what is right in His own time.

May the Spirit of God keep you in the truth you have believed, and may that truth keep you, until you see Him who is Himself the Truth, face to face. In Jesus name, Amen.
