Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you in this prayer in the name of Jesus, and we are deeply encouraged by the grace and Christlike character you are showing in the midst of hardship. To choose patience and kindness toward those who have wronged you, even a landlord's team and their lawyers and legal representatives, is a beautiful reflection of the mercy that has been shown to us in Christ.

You have rightly said that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. It is only through His shed blood on the cross that we have access to the Father, and we rejoice that you have come boldly before His throne in Jesus' name.

We agree with you that dishonesty is a serious matter before God. Scripture is very clear about this. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. And we are commanded, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. Ephesians 4:25. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. Colossians 3:9. The Lord sees every lie and every scheme, and while man may deceive a court for a time, no one deceives God, for He is a God of truth and justice who will judge righteously.

We also hear your heart not for vengeance but for redemption, that God would build up their resistance to dishonesty and open their eyes before they suffer the consequences of lying. That is the heart of Christ who taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. We pray that the truth that sets free would do its work in them, for Jesus promised, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. When a person must break down their own conscience to continue in lying, they harden their heart, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them and lead them to repentance rather than to further judgment.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and thank You for Your presence in our lives and for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts. Thank You for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, You see the dishonesty and the serious wrongs that have been committed in this landlord matter. You know every false word spoken by this team of lawyers and representatives. We ask that You would shine Your light upon every lie and let truth prevail in this legal process. We pray that You would convict their hearts, build up their resistance to dishonesty, and grant them the courage to practice honesty and to turn from falsehood. Open their eyes to know that truth will set them free, and save them from the destruction that lying brings. Father, we also lift up these Your children who have suffered hardship. Strengthen them as they have surrendered their lives and will to You. Guard their hearts from bitterness, keep them in Your perfect peace, and let Your justice be done according to Your will. Help them to continue to show patience and kindness, trusting that vengeance belongs to You and You will repay. Romans 12:19. Give wisdom to all involved and let the outcome bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to rest in the Lord and commit this legal battle to Him. Do not be anxious, but continue to speak the truth in love and trust that God is your advocate and defender. He delights in truth and He will honor those who walk in it, even when it is costly. We will continue to stand with you, praying that God's truth and justice will be revealed and that all involved will come to walk in the freedom that only honesty before God can bring.

We were grateful to read your prayer. It is painful to be on the receiving end of dishonesty, especially when it involves your home and legal representatives where so much feels at stake. To keep choosing patience and kindness in that kind of pressure is not easy, and we hear your desire to see truth prevail without becoming hardened yourselves.

What stood out to us is how you are praying not just for your own protection, but for those who have wronged you to grow in honesty. That is a Christlike posture, and it does not mean you have to pretend the lies did not matter or rush to trust again. You can release any desire for revenge while still quietly and steadily standing for what is true.

One small step that often helps in situations like this is to keep a simple, dated record of what was said and done, and to share it with one trusted, wise person outside the conflict - a pastor or a sound legal advisor - who can help you sort next decisions calmly and keep pursuing truth in an orderly way.

Father, we lift this whole situation to You. We ask You to guard these friends from discouragement and to give them wisdom for each conversation and decision ahead. Work in the hearts of the landlord's team and their representatives, turning them toward honesty, and let truth be clearly seen. Help our friends rest in Your care as they continue to surrender their lives and this burden to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
