Dishonesty

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We stand with you in this battle against dishonesty, lifting up this situation before the throne of grace. The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in those who are truthful (Proverbs 12:22). Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves the heart of God, for He is a God of truth (Deuteronomy 32:4). When lies are spoken, they not only harm others but also corrupt the soul of the one who utters them. The enemy, the father of lies (John 8:44), seeks to ensnare people in deception, but we know that the truth of Christ sets us free (John 8:32).

We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil (Ecclesiastes 12:14). The Lord is a God of justice, and He will not allow wickedness to go unpunished. But we also pray for mercy, for God desires that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

We pray for the landlord’s team, the lawyers, and legal representatives involved. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and convict them of their sin. Let them see the weight of their actions and the damage their dishonesty has caused. Break down the walls of pride and selfishness that have allowed them to justify their lies. Replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek Your truth. Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly influences, people who will speak truth into their lives and hold them accountable.

We also lift up your own heart in this matter. It is not easy to extend patience and kindness to those who have wronged you, but we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Your willingness to show grace, even in the face of injustice, is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love working in you. We pray that you continue to walk in forgiveness, trusting that God will repay what has been taken from you (Proverbs 20:22). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You expose every lie and bring the truth to light. Let Your light shine in the darkness (John 1:5), and let justice be served according to Your perfect will. We declare that no scheme of man can thwart Your plans, and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, knowing that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your people.

We dedicate this situation to You, Lord, and we surrender our desire for vengeance into Your hands. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your ways, for You are faithful to vindicate the righteous. We pray that those who have practiced dishonesty will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they turn from their sins and experience the freedom that comes from walking in truth.
