Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We join you in lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming before Him with such a gracious and truth seeking heart. We rejoice that you have acknowledged that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that it is only through His shed blood on the cross that we sinners have access to the Father and receive heavenly gifts. Your prayer to bless those who have caused you hardship reflects the heart of Christ.

We agree with you that dishonesty is a serious matter before God, not merely a legal issue but a spiritual one. Scripture is very clear about this. Proverbs 12:22 tells us Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. And we are commanded in Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. and again in Ephesians 4:25 Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another. To lie requires a hardening of the conscience, just as you have prayed, a breaking down of the resistance to dishonesty that God places in every heart. We pray with you that God would rebuild that resistance in the landlord, his team, his lawyers and legal representatives.

You have shown the same patience and kindness that was shown to you, and that is pleasing to God. We are called to overcome evil with good and to leave justice in His hands while we walk in integrity. We also cling to the promise you quoted, that truth brings freedom. John 8:32 says You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Lies may seem to bring temporary advantage, but they bring bondage and consequences, while truth, even when difficult, brings freedom and life.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace. We thank You for Your presence in our lives, for fighting for us, for Your mercy and for the sacrifice of Jesus whose blood was shed for us. Lord, You see the hardships we have faced with this legal matter and the dishonesty we have encountered. We lift up the landlord and his entire team, the lawyers and every legal representative involved. We ask that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth that sets free, and build up in them a holy resistance to all dishonesty. Help them to practice honesty, to put away falsehood and to speak truth. Protect them from the consequences of lying and lead them to repentance and integrity. Give us continued grace to show patience and kindness, to not repay evil for evil, but to trust You as our defender and judge. Let Your truth prevail in every document, every testimony and every decision, and let Your will be done. We dedicate our lives to You anew and surrender our will to Yours. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to rest in the Lord as your advocate. Proverbs 21:3 reminds us To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. Continue to commit your cause to Him, to speak truth in love, and to trust that He sees all and will bring justice in His perfect time.

We were grateful to read your prayer and the gracious spirit in it. To have faced hard dealings with a landlord's team and legal representatives and still choose to pray for their honesty rather than only for your own vindication is not easy, and it reflects a heart that wants to surrender your will to the Lord even in a difficult situation.

Wanting truth to prevail while also showing patience and kindness can feel like holding two things at once. You can make a clear, faithful decision to want good for those who have wronged you and to ask God to turn them toward honesty, and still feel the weariness and frustration that comes from what you have been through. Both can be true, and God sees both.

It may help to keep bringing that tension honestly to Him in prayer as you continue through any legal process, and to not carry the practical burden alone. If matters are still ongoing, staying in close contact with a trusted, wise counselor or advocate who can help you keep clear records and understand next steps can bring more peace as you wait on the Lord.

Father, in Jesus' name we thank You for Your presence with our friend and for the grace You have already shown them. We ask You to guard them with Your peace, to lead them in wisdom, and to let truth be clearly seen. Work in the hearts of all involved and draw each one toward honesty and integrity. We surrender this whole situation to You and trust You to care for what we cannot control. Amen.

Your prayer concerning dishonesty has been heard and we join with you in seeking the Lord who is light and in whom is no darkness at all.

You have prayed well, for God is truth and He can neither err nor break His word, and therefore He cannot smile on anything that is false. If there be upon the lip a false word, or in the heart a false thought, so far we are out of the sphere in which God can have fellowship with us. As the Scripture says, if we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. Lies are indeed serious, for they put the soul out of fellowship with the God of truth, and they bring consequences which must be feared.

We thank God for the grace you have shown in meeting hardship with patience and kindness toward the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives. This is right and Christlike. Remember that our warfare is not with flesh and blood. We are not at war with men, but with Satan and with error. We are at warfare with falsehood itself, but the persons who have practiced it we love and pray for. So we do not smite the persons of men, but we smite their sin with strong prayer and we plead for their souls.

We pray with you that the Lord will build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and teach them to practice honesty. May He open their eyes to know that the truth shall make them free, and that no lie can bring true freedom or peace. We ask that God will bring them to honest dealing with Him, for He will meet a man where truth is and nowhere else. When a sinner confesses that he is unworthy and guilty, he owns the sad truth, and on that footing of truth the Lord will meet with him through the atoning blood of Jesus shed on the Cross. God will deal truthfully with all who come truthfully. He will never cast away a sinner that comes to Him according to truth.

Therefore we urge all to buy the truth and sell it not. Buy only the truth, buy all the truth, buy the truth at any price. Let it be not mere head knowledge or theory, but truth within, truth experienced, burned into the soul by the Holy Spirit, truth in doctrine and truth in life, and Christ Himself who is the Truth to be our treasure forever. Give anything and everything sooner than part with Christ or part with integrity of conduct.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus who is the way, the truth and the life, we thank You for Your presence and for the heavenly gifts You bestow, and above all for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. We confess that without Your grace we also are prone to wander from truth, and we ask for Your mercy upon us all. We bring before You those who have walked in dishonesty, the landlord's team and those who represent them. Convict them of sin, grant them repentance, and teach them to love truth. Build in them a hatred of lying and a love of honesty, that they may be delivered from the consequences of falsehood. And keep Your people who pray, that they may continue in patience, kindness and unwavering honesty, walking in the light as You are in the light. We join you in giving thanks to God for His presence in your life and for the heavenly gifts He gives, and above all for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. You have rightly confessed that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and we agree that salvation is through Him alone.

You are right to treat lies as a serious crime. Dishonest gain is a heavy charge against the soul, and when dishonesty is added to injustice the woe is greater still, for it brings loss not only in this life but in the life to come. As you said, to persist in lying a person must break down all resistance to dishonesty. That is why your prayer is good and needful, that God would build up that resistance again and teach the heart to love honesty.

We pray with you for the landlord's team and for the lawyers and legal representatives. We ask the Lord to give them honest souls, for when truth finds an honest soul she easily masters it, but when the soul lacks candor even the light is not received. We ask Him to open their eyes to see that truth sets us free while falsehood brings bondage and painful consequences. May God grant them repentance, that they would turn from falsehood and practice honesty in every word and dealing and do what is right before God and before people.

We also thank God for the grace He has given you to show patience and kindness even while facing hardship and wrong. This is to walk in the patience of Christ, who endured for us and calls us to endure without being troubled. Affliction tries us, but patience strengthened by the Scriptures produces hope, and hope sustains patience as we wait for the Lord who has promised to come and to judge with righteousness. Continue to be nerved and comforted by the Word, that you may abide in hope.

We commit you and all those involved to the Lord. May He keep you in truth, guard your heart from bitterness, make you steadfast, and bring what is hidden into the light for His glory and for the good of all. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
