Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful for the sacrifice of the Cross, where His blood was shed for our sins. We are reminded that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that not only harms others but also separates us from God. The Bible is clear that "lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truly are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22). We understand the hardships you have faced, and we praise God for the grace He has given you to show patience and kindness even in the midst of these trials. Your example is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love working in you.

We take seriously the weight of the crimes committed through these lies. The Scriptures warn us that "no liar will have a place in the kingdom of God" (Revelation 21:8) unless they repent and turn from their sin. We pray earnestly for the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives involved in this dishonesty. Father, we ask that You break the strongholds of deception in their lives. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, for "the Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). Build up their resistance to dishonesty, Lord, and lead them to a place of repentance and integrity.

We stand on Your promise that "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Open their eyes, Lord, to see the destruction that lies bring, not only to others but to their own souls. May they come to know the freedom and peace that comes from walking in Your truth. We also pray for protection over you and those affected by this dishonesty. Guard your hearts from bitterness and resentment, and fill you with Your love and forgiveness, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32).

Heavenly Father, we surrender this situation into Your hands. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy. Bring forth the truth in this matter, and let Your will be done. May all involved come to know You more deeply and walk in the light of Your truth. We dedicate our lives to You, Lord, and ask that You use this trial for Your glory. Strengthen us to remain steadfast in faith, knowing that You are our defender and our righteous judge.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way to the Father. Amen.

We’re struck by the grace in your prayer. When we’ve been wronged, especially in something as draining as a legal dispute, our hearts usually reach first for vindication or at least for the other side to be humbled. You asked instead that their resistance to honesty be rebuilt and that truth would set them free too. That’s the kind of patient love that doesn’t come from us; it comes from Christ at work in you. So we’re standing with you in that, not because the wrongdoing is small, but because you’ve chosen the harder, better way.

It can feel vulnerable to keep showing patience when the situation drags on and the facts seem clear to you. Sometimes the most practical thing we can do while we wait for truth to surface is to stay grounded in what we actually control. That might mean quietly documenting what’s yours to document, and then laying the outcome back down before the Lord each time the frustration rises again. You’re not ignoring the dishonesty; you’re refusing to let it set the terms for your own heart.

Let’s pray now for what you asked.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this legal situation to you. You see every hidden thing, and no lie escapes your notice. We ask you to protect this dear person from the damage dishonesty can cause, and we ask you to stir the consciences of those on the other side. Build up in them the resistance to falsehood that has been worn down. Open their eyes, not only to the truth of this case but to you, who are Truth itself, before they suffer the consequences their own lies would bring. And keep this one steady in the patience you’ve already given, a patience that tells the truth about you. In your name, Amen.

It is a solemn thing you bring before the throne of grace, for lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, and those who practice deceit have made themselves enemies of the truth as it is in Jesus. Yet you do well to plead for them, for even the chief of sinners may be plucked as brands from the burning, and the grace that subdued your own heart is not shortened that it cannot reach the ### and his company. You have laid hold of the very promise of Christ when you reminded the Father that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Stand on that. The truth shall make them free, if the Spirit of truth will but open their blind eyes.

Yet remember that this petition of yours calls for a watching as well as a praying. You ask that their resistance to dishonesty be built up, but consider that they have, by multiplied falsehoods, pulled down every restraint of conscience until the wall lies in ruins. Only the same hands that first laid the foundation of honesty in the soul can rebuild what sin has demolished. Cry therefore with fervency, for such strongholds of iniquity are not cast down by cold devotions. Let your prayers be business‑like, pleading the blood that cleanses from all sin, and naming the very evils you have observed, not with bitterness, but with the determined faith that the Portion of Jacob is mightier than the hosts of darkness. He who turned the heart of Manasseh and broke the pride of Nebuchadnezzar can make these ### and ### to loathe their falsehoods and to seek righteousness at any cost.

But take heed to your own spirit while you intercede. You have spoken of the grace given to show patience and kindness, and this is a sweet fruit of the Spirit. Yet the heart is deceitful above all things, and you may be tempted to think more highly of your own patience than you ought. Our backslidings are many. It was when I thought myself most patient that I discovered how near the surface my impatience lay. Rejoice therefore with trembling, and let the remembrance of your own need of pardon keep you low before the mercy seat. Forgive, as you have been forgiven, and pray for the forgiveness of those who despitefully use you, lest a root of bitterness spring up and defile you.

And remember that affliction of this sort is not outside the government of your gracious God. The trial has been permitted, sharp as it is, that you might be driven closer to the wings of the Almighty. Ruth left her idols and her ease to glean in the fields of Boaz, and she found not only bread for the day but a husband and a heritage. You too, by casting your cause entirely upon the Lord, may discover treasures of grace you never looked for. The Lord of hosts is His name, and He chooses our inheritance for us, even when the choice seems hard. Wait on Him. Expect an answer. Do not treat the mercy seat as a place for boys to play at, but honor it with a holy expectation that the God of truth will vindicate His own name.

As for those who have sold the truth, perhaps for silver or for the fear of man, what shall we say? They have bought a lie, and it will eat as doth a canker. Yet while there is life there is hope. Point them to the Cross where the Truth Incarnate bled for liars, and where the Holy One took the place of the unholy. If the Spirit of prayer will make you mighty, He may also make you a means of awakening their slumbering consciences. Let your life be as steady as your prayers, a living epistle of truthfulness, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. The best answer to a false witness is a character so transparent that even enemies are forced to admire it.

Go on, then, with your work and your watching. The faith once delivered to the saints must be guarded, but guard it with love. And when your Lord comes, may He find you praying, forgiving, and standing fast in the truth, without having stooped to use the world’s weapons even against those who have wronged you. May the Lord grant you the desire of your heart, that these souls be won from the snare of the devil, and that the truth which sets free may be their everlasting portion. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have brought for those who have dealt dishonestly with you is a serious and fitting prayer, because lies are not a small thing before God. A lie does not merely injure the one lied against; it first destroys the one who lies. When a person must break down all resistance to dishonesty in order to commit serious wrong, that person has already wounded his own soul more deeply than any human court can reach. So we may rightly ask God to rebuild in them a fear of Him and a love of truth.

Yet we must also remember where such resistance usually begins to break. Conflicts over property, money, and legal advantage often have their root in covetousness or the desire to win at any cost. Even those who appear to live by honest work can be corrupted by gain, adding falsehoods, oaths, and cunning to what should have been upright labor. Therefore pray not only that they would stop lying, but that God would remove the root that makes lying seem profitable or safe. If truth is to master them, they need an honest soul, for truth easily enlightens a clear eye, but a soul full of greed and self-justification cannot see it.

You have rightly remembered that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that the truth will set us free. But let the freedom you ask for them be the freedom Christ gives: not only an escape from earthly consequences, but deliverance from sin itself. Pray for their repentance, for restitution where it is owed, and for their salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is good to desire that they not suffer ruin, but we must not desire that they escape without being turned from falsehood.

Continue showing patience and kindness, as you have been enabled to do, but do not let kindness become confusion. We must not make lies small or ask God to bless falsehood. We ask Him to conquer falsehood in them.

Guard your own heart as well. Long conflicts and the sense of being wronged can tempt even the injured party toward resentment or subtle dishonesty. Ask the Lord to keep your own conscience clear, your words true, and your hope set on the treasure above that no one can steal. If we are at peace, we will learn to despise the things of earth, and no loss or threat will make falsehood seem profitable. May God build up their resistance to dishonesty, and may He build up yours as well. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Your prayer recognizes something the Scriptures take very seriously: lying is not merely a bad habit but a sin that hardens the conscience and brings real consequences. The law was given for liars and perjured persons, and it leaves them without excuse. Yet you are not praying for their destruction. You are asking that their eyes be opened. That is the spirit of grace you have received.

Jesus said his words are truth, and truth remains forever. Truth is not whatever someone prefers to believe or whatever seems true to them at the moment. It is what God has spoken, and it stands outside us. When you pray that the truth will set them free, you are asking for something far deeper than winning a dispute. You are asking that they be delivered from the bondage of their own dishonesty.

Scripture also warns us not to pronounce a blessing on someone's evil deeds. So we do not ask God to bless their lying or their schemes. We ask him to frustrate the lies, expose what is hidden, and bring them to repentance. The goal is not simply that they avoid consequences but that they come to hate the dishonesty and begin walking in truth.

That is a real possibility, because the grace of God gives us what we do not deserve. None of us earns his help. That same grace can reach people who have broken down their resistance to honesty, if they will turn from the lie and come to Jesus, who is the truth.

Keep praying with that in view. The patience and kindness you have shown toward them did not come from your own strength. It was grace at work in you. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your prayers and guard your heart from bitterness, because bitterness can become its own kind of falsehood. Keep walking in truth yourself, and leave room for God to act. In Jesus' name, Amen.
