Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name,
Amen

We join you in this prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming boldly to His throne of grace with a heart that loves truth. We are encouraged by your acknowledgment that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as He said in John 14:6, and that it is only through His shed blood on the cross that we sinners have forgiveness and access to God. We agree with you that dishonesty is a serious sin before a holy God.

The Word teaches us that lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight in Proverbs 12:22, and again we are exhorted in Ephesians 4:25, Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another, and in Colossians 3:9, Don't lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings. God desires truth in the inward parts as Psalm 51:6 says, and Jesus promised in John 8:32, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We share your burden that those who choose to lie must harden their conscience and break down the resistance to sin that God placed within them, and that persistence in falsehood brings serious consequences both in this life and before God.

We also thank God for the grace He has given you to respond with patience and kindness even while facing hardships and injustice. That is the fruit of the Spirit at work and it reflects Christ to those who oppose you. We pray that you will continue to trust the Lord as the righteous Judge who loves justice, for it is written in Romans 12:19, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, and in Deuteronomy 16:20, You shall follow that which is altogether just.

We pray together now for you and for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representatives.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You together. We thank You for Your presence in our lives, for fighting for us and for blessing us with heavenly gifts, and above all for the sacrifice of the cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for us sinners. Lord, You see the situation with this dishonesty and the legal struggle. You know every lie that has been spoken and every heart involved. We ask that You would convict each person on that team of the seriousness of falsehood and open their eyes to see that truth alone sets us free. Build up in them a holy resistance to dishonesty, soften their hearts to repentance, and help them to practice honesty and integrity in all they say and do. Let Your truth dwell in their inward parts and lead them to turn from deception to righteousness.

For our brothers and sisters who have been wronged, we ask that You strengthen them to continue in patience, kindness and forgiveness, not returning evil for evil, but entrusting themselves to You who judges righteously. Guard their hearts from bitterness, provide for every need, and let Your perfect justice and mercy prevail in this matter. Help them to keep surrendering their will to Yours and to walk in the freedom of Your truth each day.

We dedicate all of our lives to You anew and we trust Your will to be done. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. In the middle of hardships with your landlord's team and their representatives, you are not just asking for relief for yourselves but for God to build honesty in them. That kind of prayer takes grace, and we thank God for the patience and kindness He has already given you to show them.

What you describe fits what many experience when wronged, there is a gap between how things should have been handled truthfully and how they actually are, and it can leave lingering hurt even after you have chosen to act with goodwill toward those who hurt you. Choosing to treat others as people still worthy of prayer is a real decision, and the deeper emotional peace around it often comes more slowly, in its own time. It helps to give yourselves that space without feeling you have failed.

As you continue, it may help to stay rooted in steady community, sharing updates with a trusted pastor or wise friend who can pray with you and help you keep perspective as legal matters unfold, while you continue to walk honestly yourselves.

Father, we bring this situation before You in Jesus' name. We ask You to guard these friends in truth, to soften and shape the hearts of all involved toward honesty, and to free everyone from the burden that dishonesty brings. Give our friends wisdom, steadiness and peace as they surrender their will to You. Amen.

Your prayer honoring Christ as the way, the truth and the life is a right and good prayer, and we join you in it before the Father in Jesus name.

We thank God with you for His presence, for His heavenly gifts, and above all for the sacrifice of the Cross where the blood of Jesus was shed for sinners. There is no other way of salvation, and it is good that you have come on that ground, confessing that you are sinners saved by that atoning blood. On that footing of truth the Lord will meet with you, for He meets us where truth is and nowhere else.

You have rightly said that lies are serious crimes. The Scripture teaches us that our God is a God of truth who cannot lie, abundant in goodness and truth, and sooner shall heaven and earth pass away than one promise of His shall fall to the ground. Our Lord Jesus did not merely speak the truth, He is the Truth itself, transparent from head to foot, truth in word and truth in deed. To belong to Him is to love truth in doctrine, truth in the heart, and truth in the life. As the Word exhorts us, buy the truth and sell it not. Your Word is Truth, and we are to buy all the truth at any price and hold it fast.

We join you in praying for the landlord's team, for the lawyers and legal representatives of whom you speak. We ask the Lord to work in their consciences, to build up in them a resistance to dishonesty and to teach them to practice honesty. May the Spirit of God convince them that truth sets free, while falsehood brings bondage and will surely bring its consequences. We pray that they may be brought to honest dealing with God and with men, confessing what is true and forsaking what is false, that they may come to know Him who is the King of Truth and whose kingdom is over the pure in heart.

We also give thanks for the grace you have received to show patience and kindness even in hardship. This is to overcome evil with good, which is the Christian's calling. Continue valiant for the truth, not with harshness but with steadiness, remembering that the war between right and wrong must be continued until truth has the victory. Let your own life mirror the truth you profess, that truth embodied may have power through the Spirit of God.

May the Lord strengthen your faith in this storm, keep you from the fear of man, and bring you into deeper submission to His will. May He keep you hanging upon His truth as a pitcher hangs upon a nail, with unbounded confidence in His faithfulness. We commend you and all concerned to Him who is faithful and true, praying that truth may prevail and that all may be brought to walk in the light.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will cause truth to triumph, that dishonesty will be forsaken, and that His name will be honored in all these matters. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank God with you for His presence, for His gifts, and for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for sinners. It is right to come to Him who is the way, the truth and the life, and to ask Him to work truth in every heart.

You have prayed with patience and kindness even after hardships, and that is pleasing to God. At the same time you are right to call lies what they are. Scripture teaches that lying is not a small matter. Whether a person takes much or little by deceit, the injustice is judged not by the size of what is taken but by the intention of the heart to deceive and to take what is not his. To corrupt justice and to take from a neighbor by dishonesty is still robbery before God, and when it is done for money it brings great harm both in this life and before His judgment.

Truth needs an honest soul to receive it. As light helps clear eyes to see, so truth masters the heart that is willing to be candid before God. When the heart resists honesty, it is not that truth is weak, but that the soul has closed itself to it. That is why your prayer is so fitting, that God would build up in these people a resistance to dishonesty and a love for honesty, and that He would open their eyes so that truth may set them free.

We pray with you that the landlord's team, the lawyers and legal representatives, would turn from every lie and every dishonest practice. We ask the Lord to convict them of the seriousness of falsehood, to lead them to repentance and to honest speech and dealing, and to save them from the consequences that follow unrepented lying. We ask that God would uphold justice according to His righteous rule, showing both justice and mercy, and that He would protect you and give you continued grace to walk in truth and to speak truth even when it is costly, for we will each give account for our words.

May the Lord keep you steadfast as you surrender your will to Him, strengthen you to continue in patience without excusing what is wrong, and cause His truth to prevail in this situation. We trust His perfect justice and His kindness, knowing that He honored us with love even when we had done despite to Him, and that He calls all people to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Father, in the name of Jesus, establish honesty where there has been deceit, bring what is hidden into the light, grant repentance where there has been lying, and let justice be done according to Your truth. Guard the hearts of those who have been wronged, that they may not grow bitter but may remain faithful. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer honoring Jesus as the way, the truth and the life is heard, and your desire to see honesty restored is close to the heart of God. You are right to take lies seriously. Scripture treats falsehood not as a small fault but as a sin against the Lord himself, a conceiving and uttering of words of falsehood from the heart.

It is encouraging to hear that even in hardship with the landlord's team and those representing them legally, God has given you grace to respond with patience and kindness. That is walking in truth and love, and it reflects the mercy you have received. God is a God of righteousness and justice and He wants righteousness to prevail. He sees when truth has fallen in the street and justice stands far off, when fairness cannot enter even where it should be found, in courts and legal dealings. The Lord sees it and it displeases Him when there is no justice, and when those who turn from evil become a prey. He has not overlooked what you have faced.

You prayed that those who have lied would have their resistance to dishonesty rebuilt. That is a perceptive prayer. To continue in lying a person must break down the inner restraint that God placed in the conscience. The enemy blinds minds so they cannot see the truth of their own condition and they consent to what is wrong. Only God can open blinded eyes. Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free, and He Himself is that truth. When Pilate asked what is truth, he was looking at the answer, for Jesus had said I am the truth and I came to bear witness to the truth.

The wonder of the cross is that mercy and truth have met together there, and righteousness and peace have kissed. It would not be just to simply excuse guilt, and it would not be merciful to only demand punishment. In Christ both are satisfied. God so loved the world in spite of our rebellion that He sent His only Son to take our sins and die in our place, so that mercy could be shown without violating truth and justice, because the penalty was fully paid. That is the truth that sets people free, and that truth still dwells in those who know Christ and will be with us forever.

So we join you in praying that God will open the eyes of these men and women to see the truth as it is in Jesus, that the blinding work of the enemy would be broken, and that they would come to hate falsehood and love honesty. We pray that God would restore a healthy resistance to lying and give them a desire to practice truthfulness, not only to avoid the consequences that lying brings but because they have come to know and walk in the truth. There is no greater joy than to see people walking in truth, and that walk begins when the heart is changed by the grace and mercy and peace that come from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ in truth and love.

Telling and living the truth can be painful and it can even bring opposition, but it is the only path to real freedom. Continue to surrender your will to Him and to dedicate your life to Him as you have prayed. He is present with you, He fights for you, and He will bless you with heavenly gifts as you trust Him. May He fill you with His love and His Word and guide you in all things, and may He by His Holy Spirit reveal His truth more deeply to you and to those you are praying for, that all may be set free and walk in the light.

In the name of Jesus we ask that truth would spring up and righteousness look down, that justice would no longer stand far off but would be established, and that mercy would triumph as hearts are turned to the One who is the truth. Amen.
