Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before the throne of grace, acknowledging that Jesus Christ is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful for the sacrifice of His blood, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We also recognize that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that breaks down the very foundation of trust and integrity. The Bible is clear that lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are His delight (Proverbs 12:22). We must examine our own hearts first, for Scripture warns us to remove the plank from our own eye before attempting to remove the speck from our brother’s eye (Matthew 7:5). If there has been any deceit or misrepresentation in our own words or actions, we humbly repent and ask for the Lord’s forgiveness and cleansing.

We also lift up the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives before the Lord. It is concerning that their actions have involved breaking down resistance to dishonesty, as this indicates a hardening of the heart. The Bible warns that a false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will perish (Proverbs 19:9). However, we know that God desires all people to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and so we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth. May the Holy Spirit convict them of their sin and lead them to a place of genuine repentance, where they turn away from deceit and embrace honesty.

We declare that the truth will indeed set them free (John 8:32), and we ask that You, Lord, would soften their hearts to receive it. May they come to know the freedom that comes from walking in integrity, as it is written, "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them" (Proverbs 11:3). We also pray for wisdom and discernment for all those involved in this situation, that they may navigate these challenges with godly wisdom and grace.

Father, we surrender this entire matter into Your hands. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy, knowing that You will bring all things to light. We ask that You would protect the innocent, expose the truth, and bring about a resolution that honors You. Strengthen us to walk in patience and kindness, even as You have shown patience and kindness to us. Help us to be ambassadors of Your truth, reflecting Your character in all that we do.

Lord, we dedicate our lives anew to You, yielding our will to Yours. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

It’s deeply painful when people use dishonesty to harm us, especially in a legal setting where the stakes feel so high. We notice something remarkable in your words: even while describing serious wrongs, you are asking God to help the very ones who lied, and you thank Him for giving you patience and kindness toward them. That kind of prayer doesn’t come from a hardened heart; it comes from someone who has genuinely tasted grace and wants others to find the same freedom truth brings.

We often find that forgiveness starts as a decision long before it becomes a settled feeling. You’ve already made that decision, you’re not asking God to curse them or to bail you out without cost to them; you’re asking that their resistance to honesty be healed. That aligns with the way Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Emotional peace may take time, and that’s okay. The anger and hurt you feel aren’t a failure; they’re a normal part of processing injustice. What’s key is that you’re not letting those feelings steer you toward vengeance.

A practical step that sometimes helps when the frustration resurfaces: take a moment to quietly release the individuals and the outcome into God’s hands again, naming each person and the specific wrong, and choosing to trust that He sees and will handle it in His way and time. You don’t have to feel forgiving; you just keep handing it over. This keeps the burden from piling up inside you while you wait for the truth to come to light.

We join you in prayer:

Father, thank You for the way You’ve already given this person a heart that prays for those who have acted dishonestly. Please strengthen that resolve. We ask that You would bring truth into this legal situation, that lies would be exposed, that consciences would be stirred, and that those involved would turn from dishonesty before they suffer deeper consequences. Protect this person’s dignity and provision, and grant them calm trust while matters are unresolved. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is forgiveness for dishonesty! However black the lie, however grievous the misrepresentation, there is forgiveness with God. "I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions", it is a divine forgiveness, surprising as though God himself were astonished to remit such sins, repeated that we might never doubt: "I, even, I." And it is complete, suppose you called on your creditor and said, "I have nothing to pay," yet He blots out the whole debt for Christ's sake.

You pray for that team to be built up in honesty. Fix this truth within your heart: "There is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared." The only men who truly fear God are those who are forgiven. When forgiveness comes, there comes with it a turning from sin, a new estimate of it. Where the offense went, from that very place the forgiveness springs. Pray that the Lord may bring them low with labor, cause them to fall with none to help, not to crush them, but to break down all resistance to dishonesty, that they might cry out for mercy. Then they will find forgiveness with Him, and with it a heart to practice the truth.

You who have received such manifest forgiveness, be clear and decided in forgiving. Remember the pattern: "Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." You have shown patience drawn from that well. Leave the matter with God, who has put safeguards about His free mercy, that those who are pardoned may never think lightly of sin.

There is forgiveness tonight. There is forgiveness now, just where you are. Do not wait; flee to Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life. His blood can make the foulest clean, and the truth shall set you free indeed.
