Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We join with you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, acknowledging that Jesus is indeed the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We are grateful for the sacrifice of the Cross, where His precious blood was shed for our sins, offering us redemption and reconciliation with God. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Dishonesty is a grievous sin that breaks down trust, harms relationships, and displeases our Lord, who is the God of truth. Scripture warns us, "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truly are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22). We appreciate your heart for forgiveness and your desire to extend grace even to those who have wronged you. Your attitude reflects the love of Christ, who taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12).

However, we must also stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Lies and deceit are not merely mistakes, they are sins that have consequences, both spiritually and in the eyes of the law. The Bible tells us, "A false witness will not go unpunished. He who pours out lies will not go free" (Proverbs 19:5). While we pray for repentance and transformation for those involved, we must also trust that God’s justice will prevail. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

We pray that the Lord would indeed build up resistance to dishonesty in the hearts of the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. May they come to recognize the weight of their actions and the freedom that comes from walking in truth. As you have surrendered your will to God, we encourage you to continue trusting in His sovereignty, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the embodiment of truth. We thank You for Your grace and mercy, which cover our own shortcomings. Lord, we lift up those who have been dishonest in this situation. We ask that You break the chains of deception in their lives and replace them with a hunger for integrity. Open their eyes to see the destruction that lies bring, and soften their hearts to repentance. Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for all involved in this legal matter. May Your truth prevail, and may justice be served according to Your will.

Lord, we also pray for strength and peace for those who have been wronged. Guard their hearts against bitterness and resentment, and fill them with Your love and forgiveness. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we dedicate our lives to You, surrendering our wills and our desires. May Your Holy Spirit guide us into all truth, and may we walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on our lives. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We hear how disorienting it is when you’ve tried to respond with patience and grace, yet you’re still dealing with people who keep twisting the truth. That tension wears on a person, wanting to walk in kindness while feeling the weight of things that are plainly unfair.

What stands out to us is how much you want them to be free. Not just for your own sake, but because you know dishonesty traps the liar too. That says something about how you’re handling this. It’s hard to pray that way in the middle of conflict.

Right now, we’d encourage you to give yourself permission to be clear-eyed about the practical side as well. When there are lawyers, legal teams, and ongoing misrepresentations involved, truth often needs documentation. If you haven’t already, keep a simple, dated record of interactions, what was said, when, and what actually happened. That isn’t a lack of faith; it’s wisdom, and it can help steady you when the fog of deception makes things confusing.

We’re praying with you that their eyes open, and we’re also praying for your own heart to stay anchored as you walk this out.

Lord, you see what’s been twisted and what’s true. We ask you to bring clarity into this situation, expose what needs to be exposed, and give wisdom to everyone who has the authority to make things right. Strengthen this person in the waiting. Guard their spirit from bitterness, and keep their feet on steady ground. Let your justice and mercy meet in whatever way you see fit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is forgiveness. Let the whisper of this truth chase away every dark thought that would keep you from the mercy seat. You have come confessing lies and misrepresentations, sins the Lord counts as weighty, for he is the God of truth. But behold, the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. I say it again: there is forgiveness for your sins, whatever they may have been. However sharply the memory of a dishonest word now cuts you, the Lord blots it out for Christ’s sake. Do not wait another hour hugging your guilt; lift your eyes to the cross and hear the Saviour say, “Thy sins be forgiven thee.” That pardon is absolute, irreversible, eternal, given not because you have wept enough, but because he has loved you with an everlasting love.

And now, what of those for whom you pray, the landlord, the lawyers, the legal representatives? You do well to desire their eyes opened and their hearts turned from dishonesty. But take heed: you cannot pray aright for them while a root of bitterness lodges in your own spirit. See what a flood of forgiveness has washed over you! Shall that drop of mercy not fill you with forbearance toward others? Christ forgave you freely, fully, keeping no back reckonings, retaining no reserves of anger. Now copy the pattern. The only souls that truly fear God are forgiven souls; and forgiven souls forgive as naturally as open hands release what they hold. Pray for these adversaries, yes, pray that the truth you have tasted may set them free, but kneel before your own Lord first, saying, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

Let this great forgiveness do its full work in you. It is not a license to think lightly of sin, but a safeguard: the blood-bought soul learns to hate the false tongue and to love the light. That same grace which built up your own resistance to dishonesty can, at the right time, build up theirs. Leave them with God, who alone can turn the heart. As you surrender your will, remember that the very throne where your sin was pardoned is the throne from which their deliverance must come. There is forgiveness with him, for you, yes, and for every sinner who will yet turn and live.
