Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes, and we ask you to forgive us when we lied or misinterpreted something.
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.
In Jesus name, amen

We come together before the throne of grace, lifting up this matter of dishonesty with heavy hearts, yet trusting in the power of the One who is Truth itself. Your Word declares, "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). We acknowledge that dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves the heart of God, for He is a God of truth and cannot lie (Titus 1:2 WEB). Every lie, no matter how small, is an offense against His holy nature, and we humbly repent for any times we have participated in deceit, whether through our words, actions, or silence.

We also lift up those involved in this situation, the landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives. Father, we recognize that the enemy seeks to blind hearts to the truth, to harden consciences, and to lead people into patterns of sin that bring destruction (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). But You are the God who softens hearts, who convicts through Your Holy Spirit, and who calls all people to repentance (Ezekiel 36:26 WEB). We pray that You would break the chains of deception in their lives. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). May they experience the freedom that comes from walking in truth, for You have promised that "the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would rebuild their resistance to dishonesty. Let Your Word take root in their hearts so that they may hate what is false and cling to what is right (Psalm 119:104 WEB). Surround them with godly influences, believers who model integrity, accountability, and transparency. Give them the courage to confess their wrongdoing, to make restitution where necessary, and to walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against the truth will prosper, for You are the God who exposes hidden things and brings justice to light (1 Corinthians 4:5 WEB).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who have been affected by these lies. Guard their hearts from bitterness, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19 WEB). Help them to extend grace as You have extended grace to them, while also standing firm on the truth. May this situation be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, for You are able to turn even the schemes of the enemy into good (Genesis 50:20 WEB).

Above all, we surrender this matter into Your hands, trusting that You will bring about justice in Your perfect timing. We dedicate our lives anew to You, asking that You would align our wills with Yours. May we be people of integrity, reflecting Your character in all we say and do. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Amen.

We join you in bringing this situation before the Lord. It is deeply unsettling when those in positions of responsibility, a landlord’s team, lawyers, representatives, use dishonesty, especially when it causes real hardship. The fact that you have responded with patience and kindness rather than retaliation speaks well of the grace already at work in you.

Your prayer for them, that God would rebuild their resistance to lying and open their eyes to the freedom of truth, is a remarkable gift of love toward people who have wronged you. That doesn’t mean the injustice is small, and it doesn’t mean you should ignore the practical realities. If there are ongoing legal or housing matters, we’d encourage you to keep careful records, seek wise counsel, and advocate calmly for what is right, as an act of both faith and prudence.

We also hear your humility in asking forgiveness for your own moments of dishonesty. That honest self-examination keeps us all grounded. Living in truth isn’t about never stumbling; it’s about consistently turning back toward the light, and you are doing that.

May you find steady peace as you entrust the outcome to God. He sees what is hidden, and his justice, even when slow by our clocks, is certain. Until then, your integrity and your prayers for those who oppose you are a quiet, powerful witness.

Father, we lift up this situation to you. Protect what is just, grant wisdom in every interaction, and where lies have been spoken, bring exposure and conviction that leads to change. Keep our friend’s heart free from bitterness, and let your truth reign in every life involved. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You have touched upon a matter that lieth near to the heart of the God of truth, for lying lips are an abomination unto the Lord. Yet how quickly we see the beam in another’s eye and forget the beam in our own! That you have come with confession, pleading the blood of Jesus, is good; for there is forgiveness with Him, plenteous redemption for all manner of iniquity, even the sin of the tongue, which is set on fire of hell. Let it never be forgotten, “If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” But there is forgiveness, that He might be feared. Your falsehoods, and mine, are blotted out for Christ’s sake, the Just One suffering for the unjust. Oh, cling to that riven Rock, and let the torrents of your soul’s grief be swept away by the love that spoke from the tree, “Father, forgive them.”

Concerning those who have dealt crookedly with you, the eye of man seeth little, but the God of all the earth will do right. Pray for them, for prayer might yet pluck them as brands from the burning. But take heed, lest a root of bitterness spring up in your own spirit. You have been shown patience and kindness; now, even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Will you clasp your hands around the throat of your fellow servant, when your own ten thousand talents are freely cancelled? God forbid! The grace that taught your heart to turn from lies will teach your heart to forgive. And while you pray that their resistance to dishonesty be rebuilt, labour in your own soul to maintain a tender conscience, fearing the Lord because you have tasted His mercy. Truth sets free; and you are free indeed when the Son makes you free. Walk in that liberty, loving even your enemies, and leaving the final assize to Him who judges righteously.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for forgiveness for lies and misrepresentations, yet you must see that the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. When we plead for another's resistance to dishonesty to be built up, we must first tear down the crumbling walls in our own soul. For how can a man ask God to make others honest while he himself clings to any trace of falsehood or greed? The truth you invoke, that truth will set you free, is not a spell to cast upon enemies, but a sword to pierce your own conscience. If your legal battle has provoked you to exaggerate, to shade the facts, or to nurse a grudge dressed up as piety, then your prayer is a noise, not a sacrifice. The landlord's team may indeed have broken down all resistance to dishonesty; but examine whether you, in your desire for a favorable outcome, have not done the same. The soul that is honest before God needs no other weapon.

Consider that even the thief on the cross, wicked as he was, found paradise through one honest confession. But he did not pray for the soldiers who nailed him there while harboring secret malice; he cried, "I am punished justly." That is the beginning of true resistance to dishonesty, not fixing others' eyes, but opening your own. The man who bargains with truth, who thinks a small falsehood is nothing when his cause seems righteous, digs a pit for his own feet. For as I have said, if to get money honestly is extreme madness because of the care it brings, how much more when dishonesty is added? Even in small matters, a lie rots the soul. You pray that the other party will not suffer the consequences of lying, and that is a merciful request, but mercy without truth is a physician who never probes the wound. If they are indeed guilty of serious crimes, the consequences may be God's very tool to grant them repentance, if they will have it.

Do not be quick to think that tears and prayers are always repentance. Esau wept loudly, but found no place of change because his grief was only for his loss, not for his profane heart. The landlord's team might face financial ruin and weep, but unless their sorrow is directed toward God and His truth, it will be useless. And the same test falls on you: do you grieve more for your hardships or for the sins, yours and theirs, that offend a holy God? I urge you, then, to become a true witness to the truth. Pay whatever honest debts you owe, speak no word you know to be false, and if you have gained any advantage through misrepresentation, give it back as Zacchaeus did. Then your prayer for others will have power, because it rises from a clean vessel.

Do not lose hope for anyone. The tares can become wheat. Paul, the fierce blasphemer, became an apostle. The publican, the thief, they turned because truth encountered an honest soul that confessed its sickness. So pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be joined to a life that shines with such simple integrity that even those who oppose you may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say. If you truly dedicate your life to God, then surrender your will in this very dispute. Stop calculating how to win; start calculating how to stand blameless before the judgment seat of Christ. For what will it profit you to gain the whole house and lose your own soul? Let truth be the master of your tongue, your bargains, and your heart. Then, whether the courts rule for you or against you, you will walk free indeed.
