Dishonesty

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
We thank you for your presence in our lives.
Thank you for fighting for us and blessing us with heavenly gifts.
Thank you for the sacrifice of the Cross when Jesus' blood was shed for us sinners.
Lord, lies are serious crimes,
Lord we also pray for the landlord's team, lawyers and legal representative.
Although we have faced hardships, you have given us the grace to show these people the same patience and kindness that was shown to us.
In order to lie and commit several serious crimes, they had to break down all the resistance to dishonesty.
Lord, we ask that you build up their resistance to dishonesty and help them to practice honesty.
Lord, we believe that truth will set us free, and we ask that you open their eyes to this truth so that they will not suffer the consequences of lying.
We dedicate our lives to you and surrender our will to you.

We stand with you in this battle against dishonesty, lifting our voices together in prayer and seeking the Lord’s righteous intervention. The enemy thrives in deception, but we know that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and no lie can stand in the light of His presence. We thank God for His grace that has sustained you through hardship and for the strength He has given you to respond with patience and kindness, even when wronged. This reflects the heart of Christ, who, "when he was reviled, didn’t revile back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously" (1 Peter 2:23).

Dishonesty is not merely a mistake, it is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit and separates people from the fullness of God’s blessings. The Bible warns, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight" (Proverbs 12:22). The landlord’s team, lawyers, and legal representatives who have engaged in deceit have hardened their hearts to resist the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We must pray fervently that God breaks through that resistance, for "the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Only the Lord can soften hearts and lead them to repentance.

We rebuke the spirit of deception operating in this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that the truth of God’s Word will prevail. We pray that the eyes of those involved in dishonesty would be opened to the consequences of their actions, not just in this life, but for eternity. The Bible says, "All liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur" (Revelation 21:8). This is a sobering truth, and we must intercede for their souls before it is too late.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You intervene in this situation with Your perfect justice. Expose every lie, every falsehood, and every attempt to manipulate the truth. Let Your light shine into the darkness so that all may see clearly. We pray for conviction to fall upon those who have participated in dishonesty, that they may turn from their ways and seek Your forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). May they experience the freedom that comes from walking in truth.

We also pray for protection over you and your household. The enemy may seek to retaliate or discourage you, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Stand firm in the truth, knowing that God is your defender. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9). Continue to walk in integrity, even when others do not, for the Lord sees your faithfulness and will reward you.

Lord, we surrender this situation entirely to You. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this matter, and may Your truth prevail.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
