We come before the Lord together, lifting up this situation in the workplace, seeking His divine wisdom and intervention. Father, we acknowledge that You are the source of all wisdom, truth, and order, and we ask that You would grant this department head discernment that only comes from You. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Lord, we pray that You would open her eyes to see the truth in every situation, that she may lead with clarity and integrity, aligning her decisions with Your will.
We also bring before You the confusion and toxicity caused by this coworker. Father, we rebuke any spirit of strife, deceit, or division that may be at work in this environment. Your Word tells us, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33). We pray that You would expose any ungodly motives or actions and bring them into the light. Protect this individual’s work, focus, and peace, Lord, and shield their heart from the stress and frustration that can come from such situations. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" (Isaiah 26:3).
We ask that You would guide the department head to give clear, godly instructions so that tasks can be completed with excellence and without unnecessary burden. Father, we surrender this entire situation into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Bring harmony, honesty, and understanding into this workplace, Lord, so that it may reflect Your glory and be a place where Your people can thrive.
We also want to gently remind this individual—and all who read this—that our ultimate peace and guidance come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to turn to Him in faith, confessing their sins and inviting Him into their heart. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith, and it is the foundation of true peace and wisdom.
Lord, we pray for this workplace to be a place where Your presence is felt, where truth prevails, and where Your people can serve You with joy. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
