We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His divine wisdom and intervention in your workplace situation. First, we acknowledge that all authority comes from God, and we pray that He would indeed grant your department head clear discernment. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). We ask that the Lord would open her eyes to see truth, order, and clarity in every decision she makes, that she may lead with justice and integrity.
Father, we lift up the challenges posed by your coworker, recognizing that pride and a desire for power can create division and confusion. Scripture warns us, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of strife and toxicity in the name of Jesus, asking that Your light would expose any unrighteousness and bring it to repentance. We pray that this coworker’s heart would be softened, and that she would seek humility rather than control. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 WEB).
We also ask for Your protection over your work, focus, and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Jesus came so that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). Guard your mind and heart from anxiety, and help you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray that your department head would recognize and uphold godly instructions, allowing you to complete your tasks with excellence and without undue stress.
Lord, we ask that You would bring harmony, honesty, and understanding into your workplace. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of everyone involved (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May your workplace be a place where Your name is honored, and where Your people operate in unity and love. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has authority over all things, and through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or find true peace (Acts 4:12 WEB). May His will be done in this situation, and may His glory be revealed.
Amen.
