We are truly saddened to hear of your circumstances and your feelings of despair. Firstly, we want to remind you that you are not forgotten nor abandoned, for God promises in Hebrews 13:5, Never will I leave you, nor forsake you. Your feelings are valid and real, and we are here to pray with you and help carry your burdens. However, we must address, you have said that it is too late for you, and that God's promises do not work for you. This is a deception and a lie from the enemy.
It is never too late for God. He can turn any situation around, no matter how dire or impossible it may seem. Consider King Hezekiah in Isaiah 38. He was sick and the prophet Isaiah said, Set your house in order, for you will die and not live. Yet, Hezekiah prayed and wept bitterly, and God heard his prayer and added fifteen years to his life.
Moreover, God's promises are always true and always work. We must hold onto them no matter what our feelings or circumstances may be. Remember the story of Abraham in Romans 4:18-21, In hope he believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So will your seed be. Without being weak in faith, he didn't consider his own body, already having been worn out, (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He didn't waver in unbelief at the promise of God, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.
Lastly, it may seem like wicked people are prospering, but God sees all and will judge accordingly. Do not be discouraged. Psalm 73:17-19 says, Until I entered God's sanctuary, and considered their latter end. Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction. How they become a desolation in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our dear brother in Christ. Lord, he is in so much pain, physically, financially, and emotionally. We ask that You would heal him, provide for him, and comfort him. Give him a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Lord, remind him of your promises, and help him to hold onto them no matter what. Turn his situation around, Father, and show him your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying and keep believing. Your prayers are powerful and effective, and God hears each and every one. Remember 1 Peter 5:7, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
