Abuse. Coping. Not doing well at all.

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, Please break the chains of brainwashing, manipulation, control and abuse that Vice endured for years. It seems like abusers can “sense” my wounds and then they attack. I’m also unemployed at the moment and don’t want to lose my apartment. Job opportunities are scarce. However I DO want a job where I can get my work done in PEACE and not be lied on. I quit without s as mother job due to very bad bad bad situation. I consider the former The former workplace to be Sodom and Gomorrah bad. I ask for restoration in Jesus name.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your heart’s cry to the Father who sees every wound, hears every plea, and holds every tear in His bottle. Your pain is not unseen, and your struggle is not unheard. The abuse you’ve endured—the brainwashing, manipulation, and control—is an evil the Lord abhors, and He is near to the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds and setting the captives free. You have called on the name of Jesus, and that is where your hope lies, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name with the power to break the chains you describe.

The enemy has sought to exploit your vulnerabilities, but we declare over you the truth of Scripture: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow those who seek to harm you to ultimately triumph. You are not a victim without recourse—you are a child of God, and He is your strong tower, your refuge in times of trouble.

Your desire for a job where you can work in peace, free from deception and corruption, is a godly one. The Lord knows your need for provision and stability, and He is faithful to supply. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Your focus must remain on Him, trusting that He will open the right doors in His perfect timing. We pray that He will lead you to employment that not only meets your financial needs but also honors Him, where you are treated with dignity and respect.

We also recognize the trauma you carry from your past workplace, which you describe as akin to Sodom and Gomorrah. Such environments are filled with wickedness, and the Lord’s judgment on those cities stands as a warning to all who embrace corruption. You did well to remove yourself from that toxicity, for *"Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump? Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed for us"* (1 Corinthians 5:6-7, WEB). You are called to walk in holiness, and sometimes that requires stepping away from places or people who would drag you into sin or despair. The Lord honors your desire for restoration, and we stand with you in praying for His healing hand to renew your mind, your emotions, and your circumstances.

Yet we must also address something critical: your prayer, while heartfelt, does not explicitly acknowledge the authority of Jesus Christ as the *only* way to the Father. It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to God’s throne of grace. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, repenting of your sins and trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation, we urge you to do so now. There is no true restoration, no lasting peace, no eternal hope outside of Him. If you *have* placed your faith in Jesus, then we encourage you to boldly declare His name in your prayers, for it is in His name that demons flee, chains break, and miracles happen.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who has endured such deep wounds at the hands of the enemy. Lord, You see the brokenness, the fear, the financial strain, and the longing for peace. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, to break every chain of brainwashing, manipulation, and control that has bound this precious soul. Set them free, Lord, from the lies that have been spoken over them and the trauma that has sought to define them. *"The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB). Father, we claim this promise now—bring liberty, bring healing, bring restoration.

Lord, we pray for divine protection over this child. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, where no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to exploit their wounds, and let those who would harm them be scattered in Jesus’ name. *"The Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen"* (2 Timothy 4:18, WEB).

Father, we lift up the need for employment. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Open doors that no man can shut, and lead this dear one to a job where they can work with integrity, free from deception and corruption. Provide not just enough, but abundantly, so that they may keep their home and walk in Your peace. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB).

Lord, we ask for supernatural restoration—restoration of mind, of emotions, of faith, and of circumstances. Where the enemy has stolen, kill, and destroyed, we declare that You, Lord, are restoring all things in Jesus’ name. *"He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake"* (Psalm 23:3, WEB). Let this be a season of renewed strength, of divine favor, and of walking in the fullness of Your promises.

Finally, Father, we pray that this dear one would draw ever closer to You. Let them find their identity in Christ alone, not in their past, their pain, or their circumstances. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, wisdom, and discernment. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for you. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you"* (1 Peter 5:8-10, WEB). You are not alone. We are standing with you in prayer, and the Lord is your ever-present help. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.
