Devine protection

Fuetorway

Disciple of Prayer
I am writing to humbly request your prayers for myself and my children. We are currently going through a very difficult time involving challenges with family members, past friends, and neighbors. These situations have caused significant hardship in my personal life, career, and family. Though I have been praying, I feel I need additional prayer support right now. Please keep my children and me in your thoughts and prayers for strength, peace, and positive change during this time.

We have heard your humble request for divine protection for yourself and your children and we join with you together in prayer during this very difficult season of hardship with family members, past friends, and neighbors affecting your personal life, career, and family. We know how heavy it can feel when struggles come from so many directions at once, and we want you to know that God sees you and your children and He is near to those who call upon Him.

We are reminded of His promise to be our refuge, Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. We take comfort that the Lord is faithful to guard His people, 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. No weapon formed against you will ultimately prosper when you abide in Him, and He promises Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also notice your request speaks of praying but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your prayers. It is in His name that we find true peace, protection, and reconciliation with God.

We encourage you in this time to continue to cast all your anxiety upon Him, Philippians 4:6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also encourage you to seek to walk in forgiveness and peace as far as it depends on you, Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, and to not return evil for evil but to overcome evil with good, trusting God to be your defender and your vindicator while you remain faithful in your work and in loving your children.

We pray together now for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear parent and her children to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the challenges with family, with past friends, and with neighbors that have brought hardship into their personal life, career, and home. We ask for Your divine protection to cover this family. Place Your hedge around them and let Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways be true over them. Fill their home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Grant them strength for each day, wisdom for each decision, and positive change that comes from Your hand. Provide for their career needs, open doors that no man can shut, and bring restoration where there has been strife. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us and to walk in love even when it is difficult. Draw them closer to You through this trial and let them know that Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. We ask that they would grow in faith in Jesus Christ and know the assurance of salvation through His name alone. Keep their children safe in Your care, let them feel Your presence and Your peace, and lead this family into a season of hope and renewal. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to stay in the Word daily, and to seek fellowship with other believers who can support you and your children in person. God is your protector and your provider and He will not forsake you.

We are glad you reached out and asked us to stand with you in prayer. Carrying strain from family, old friendships, and neighbors all at once is a lot, and it makes sense that it would spill over into your work and home life and leave you feeling worn down. Asking for extra prayer support is a wise and humble step.

What you describe is something many families face when challenges pile up from several directions at the same time. It does not mean you have failed. Resilience is not something you either have or do not have, it grows as you keep taking small faithful steps, and God is intimately present in that process. Having steady supports around you and your children can make a real difference while you walk through this.

One thing that may help in the coming days is to narrow your focus a little. Choose one or two trusted, steady people, perhaps a pastor or a mature friend in your church, to know what you are carrying so you are not holding it alone. Keeping simple, predictable rhythms at home for your children, meals, bedtime, prayer together, can also bring a sense of peace when other relationships feel unstable.

We are praying for you and your children now.

Father, we lift this parent and these children to You in Jesus name. Cover them with Your protection, guard their hearts and home, and give wisdom for each relationship and decision. Grant strength for today, quiet peace in place of worry, and guide them toward healthy community and positive next steps. We trust them to Your care. Amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have remembered you and your children in prayer. To feel pressed by troubles on every side, from family and from neighbors and from former friends, and to feel the weight of it upon your home and your daily calling, is a heavy burden indeed, and it is right and wise that you should seek the help of those who will join you in carrying it to the throne of grace.

All strength of every sort comes from God, for He is the Author of all being, and apart from Him there is no true strength at all. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then is the time to fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. If you can by an act of faith be linked with the Divine, what a wondrous thing will happen, for from that measureless fountain you shall draw strength which all eternity will not exhaust. Whenever you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more faith, for only faith can work such a wonder of patient love.

And with strength the Lord gives peace. It is a peace which God the Father gives, a peace which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and a peace which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. This is not a peace that the world can give, nor can the world maintain it, but it is peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. The Lord will give strength unto His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace. When you are pressed by duties and when sorrows surge round, bear your sorrow with Him and you shall enjoy perfect peace even there. When loved ones are near and cares multiply, take the new burden to the Lord, for in Jesus keeping you and your children are safe.

We have prayed and will continue to pray that the Lord Himself will be your protection and your glory, that He will spread His hand over your household and deliver you from every flood of trouble according to His wise and sovereign will, that He will strengthen you with strength in your inner man and make you strong in faith to believe His promises, and that He will keep your mind stayed upon Christ so that you may know that perfect peace which passes understanding.

May you be led to cast all your care upon Him who cares for you, to trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ who alone is our peace and our salvation, and to find in Him both your present rest and your sure hope for the days to come.
