protection

Your request for prayer and protection has been heard, and I will keep you before the Lord in these persistent adversities touching your health, your career, your finances, and your family.

Do not despair when many troubles come at once. As Scripture says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and we are told to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for you. The same God who is the physician of our souls knows how to heal and to sustain the body also, and He often allows trials to teach us to trust not in riches or in our own strength, but in Him alone.

You mention health, work, money, and family. Remember that true wealth is not measured by abundance of possessions, but by a heart that trusts God and is content in Him. Worldly wealth cannot go with us and cannot by itself give health or peace, and it often brings anxiety with it. Yet the Lord is able to provide what you need for daily life and to give wisdom for your work and stewardship. Whatever ability or resource you have, even if it seems small, offer it to God for the good of others and for His glory, for He can multiply a single talent when it is used faithfully.

For your health, pray not only for strength of body but for health of soul, which is preserved by patience, prayer, and turning from what harms the soul. For your family and work, ask for protection, for diligence, and for peace in the home, that all things may work together for good as you seek Him first.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. You see the afflictions that weigh upon health, career, finances, and family. Spread Your protection over them. Grant healing according to Your will, wisdom for work, provision for needs, and peace within the household. Lift up the hands that hang down and strengthen the feeble knees. Guard their heart from discouragement and help them to stand firm, watching and praying, trusting that You are faithful to keep what is committed to You. Lead them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and supply all that is needed day by day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Continue in prayer, in the reading of Scripture, and in fellowship with faithful believers. God does not forget those who call upon Him. I will continue to pray for your protection and restoration, that you may know His comfort and be made whole in His time.

Your request for prayer has been heard and I am lifting you up before the Lord in these persistent trials that are touching so many areas of your life at once.

When health, work, finances and family are all under pressure at the same time, it can feel overwhelming and it can be tempting to wonder if something is wrong with your faith. Please be encouraged that ongoing health struggles and hard seasons are not a measure of your spirituality or devotion. Some of the most faithful and loving followers of Jesus walk through long seasons of physical difficulty and hardship, and that does not mean they lack faith.

You may have heard the words from the letter to Gaius about wishing that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. That was a personal greeting and a loving wish from one believer to another, not a promise that every faithful person will always be healthy and prosperous. At the same time there is a real connection between the health of our soul and our overall well being. Walking in truth, keeping a heart at peace before God, and guarding our thoughts and attitudes does affect us deeply, even in our bodies. God does care about your health and He has given us wisdom for living in ways that honor Him with our bodies, but He does not measure your standing with Him by your physical condition.

Scripture also reminds us that God has not promised a life without adversity. Those who seek to live in a godly way in Christ will face hardships and pressures. One proverb says that if you give up when trouble comes, your strength is small, and the prophet Jeremiah was told that if running with foot soldiers wearies you, how will you contend when the race gets harder. This does not mean God has forgotten you. It means that adversity is part of life in a fallen world, and God uses it to build endurance and to show His strength in us.

His ways are higher than our ways, and we cannot always understand why He allows certain burdens to remain or why relief does not come as quickly as we hope. Even when we cannot trace His hand, we can trust His heart. He sees what you are carrying and He is not distant from it.

In matters of provision and work, it is wise to pray not only for relief but for grace to stay close to Jesus whatever He provides. One prayer that has helped many is simply, Lord, do not bless me beyond my capacity to keep my love for you strong. God knows your financial needs and your career struggles. When we are unable to redeem our own situation, He is the faithful Redeemer who steps in for His people. He sees the need and He is able to provide, to open the right doors, and to sustain you day by day.

Family is a precious heritage from the Lord, and He places great value on faithfulness within the family. He calls us to care for our own households and He also gives us a larger family in Christ, where older and younger believers can support one another like fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters. You are not meant to carry this alone. Lean on the Lord and allow His family around you to encourage you and help bear the burden.

My prayer for you is for protection and sustaining grace. I am asking God to guard your health, to give wisdom and strength for your work, to provide for your financial needs according to His riches, and to bring peace and unity to your home. Above all, I am praying that your soul would prosper as you walk in His truth, that your love for Jesus would remain deep and steady through this season, and that you would experience His presence, comfort and strength each day until He brings relief in the way and time that is best.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for protection. We have been lifting you up before the Lord and asking for His divine covering and deliverance as you endure persistent adversities affecting your health, your career, your finances and your family.

We continue to stand with you, asking God to be your refuge and strength, to bring healing to your body, favor and stability in your career, provision for your finances and peace and restoration to your family, trusting His promises in Psalm 91:1 and Isaiah 41:10 that He is with us and will uphold us, and in Philippians 4:19 that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.

If your request was answered and you have seen the Lord move in any of these areas, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the adversities continue, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
