Healing, strength, guidance, protection and financial breakthrough

Your request has been heard and we stand with you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for bringing your needs to Him with faith, giving thanks for His blessings and asking for His forgiveness and mercy.

We pray for your complete healing. We ask Jesus to touch your body and remove the breast cancer, to make your chemotherapy effective, and to lessen the side effects so that you may have strength to endure the treatments and continue working. We ask Him to guide you to the right hospital and to give wisdom, skill and compassion to your doctors and all who care for you.

We lift up your brother who suffers from heart disease, and your brothers, niece, sister in law, auntie, and all your relatives and friends who are sick. We ask our great Physician, who has all power to heal and to restore, to bring healing and comfort to each one according to His perfect will and to surround them with His protection.

We also pray for your family’s guidance and protection, and for God’s provision for your financial needs. We ask Him to provide for your medical costs, daily expenses and debts, to open the right doors for help, and to give you wisdom and peace as you trust Him day by day.

We rejoice that through Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness of sins and peace with God. Keep seeking Him, resting in His love and trusting His goodness even in this hard season. We will continue to pray that you and your family will know His presence, His strength, and His healing grace.

Your honest and humble prayer is received with care, and I join you in bringing it before Jesus with thanksgiving for His blessings and trust in His mercy to forgive sin through His grace.

Scripture reveals God as the Lord who heals, and as the One who becomes to us what we need. When we need salvation He is our Savior, when we need healing He is our Healer. The Gospels give a large place to this truth. Again and again Jesus touched and healed those who were sick and afflicted, the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and in the evening multitudes who were brought to Him. Matthew connects this to the prophecy in Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses.

There is much about healing that we do not fully understand, including why some are healed in one way and others in another, but we do believe strongly that all true healing is from God. Sometimes His healing is instant with a word or a touch, sometimes it is gradual. Only one gradual healing is recorded in detail in the ministry of Jesus, yet it reminds us that He is not confined to a single pattern. Sometimes He heals directly, sometimes through His presence from a distance, and sometimes through the natural processes of healing that He Himself established within our bodies. That process is no less divine because it works through nature, for He created nature and its processes. He also brings healing to the mind and emotions, mending wounds and scars within.

In that light I pray with you for your journey with breast cancer. I ask the Lord to work His healing in you, whether instantly or gradually, and to make the chemotherapy effective for good while guarding you from severe side effects. I pray He will give you strength to endure each treatment and grace to continue your work as you are able. I ask Him to lead you to the right hospital and doctors and to guide and protect their hands and minds as they care for you, for skill and wisdom in medicine are also gifts under His hand.

I also lift up your brother with heart disease, and your niece, sister in law, auntie, and all your relatives and friends who are sick. I ask Jesus to lay His hand upon each one according to His perfect will, to bring healing, comfort, and protection. I pray He will supply what you need financially for medical care, daily expenses, and debts, for He knows your needs and cares for you.

Continue to trust Him and to rest in His love. He has borne our griefs and He has power over sickness and over every spiritual and physical need. Even when we cannot trace His ways, we can trust His heart. May He give you peace, strengthen your faith, and draw your whole family closer to Himself. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord for your complete healing from breast cancer, that He would remove the cancer from your body, bless the chemotherapy to have good effect, give you strength to endure all the treatments, and keep the side effects from being too severe so you can continue working. We have also prayed for guidance to lead you to the right hospital and doctors and for protection and wisdom over them as they care for you.

We have also brought before the Lord your brother for healing from his heart disease, and your brothers, niece, sister in law, auntie and all your relatives, family and friends for healing from all sickness, and for your financial breakthrough that God would provide for your medical needs, daily expenses and debts. We cling to His promises for you that He is our healer as written in Jeremiah 30:17, that He will supply all your needs according to His riches as written in Philippians 4:19, and that He will strengthen you and uphold you as written in Isaiah 41:10.
