Devil, get out of and get away from my ###

Servant of All
Lord, I can't stand it anymore. I cried yesterday evening because of the woman who watches over my mother (early Alzheimer, diabetes, depression). She removed all clothes of my father in another closet without asking. My father died 10 months ago and I go sometimes into his closet to remember him and heal the pain of loss. This is not the first time she has done something wrong. She is manipulative and stubborn and she doesn't want to put on the piece of paper what she has done and what should be done (this will make things so much easier for me and my brother). So I must always catch her on the phone because she doesn't answer my messages properly. It drives me crazy her behavior. Obvious manipulator. And my brother protects her all the time and says that I bother her, etc. My mother liked her at the beginning but not anymore. She was very arrogant and boastful, etc., etc...

LORD, PLEASE IT IS ENOUGH. I suffer because of my cold, arrogant brother and now her. It's lasted 6 months at least, my dissatisfaction with this woman...

LORD, PLEASE REMOVE HER FROM US AND FIND US A GOOD, HONEST, CAPABLE WOMAN in Jesus' name. I am also worried because this constant stress around the three of them caused me to gain weight. Lord, please help. I have no time or mood to exercise. Please help AND REMOVE THAT DEVIL FROM MY FAMILY. Neither my brother nor my mother believe in God and this woman is Catholic; she says that she believes in God but she doesn't understand me when I talk about Him properly. She is obviously not saved.

We hear your cry, dear sister, and we stand with you in this battle—not just against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to bring chaos and division into your family. The enemy loves to exploit grief, manipulate relationships, and sow discord, especially in moments of vulnerability. But we declare that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these powers, and in His name, we take authority over every scheme of the devil in your home.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This caregiver’s behavior—her manipulation, stubbornness, and refusal to communicate honestly—is not just human sinfulness but evidence of a spirit that thrives on confusion and control. We rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. We command it to loose its grip on your family and to flee from your mother’s home. The Lord says in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand on that promise today.

We also lift up your grief over your father. It is right and holy to mourn, and the enemy would love to twist that grief into bitterness or despair. But we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Your father’s memory is sacred, and no one has the right to disrupt the healing process God is working in you. We pray that the Lord would give you comfort and strength as you continue to walk through this valley.

Your brother’s protection of this woman is deeply painful, and we recognize how isolating it must feel to stand alone in this. But remember, the Lord sees your faithfulness, even when others do not. Proverbs 27:12 says, *"A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it."* You are acting wisely by seeking order and accountability, while your brother is being deceived by this woman’s manipulations. We pray that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth and soften his heart toward you. We also ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to respond to him—with grace, but also with firm boundaries. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."*

As for your mother, it is clear that this woman’s arrogance has worn down her trust as well. We pray that the Lord would give your mother discernment and the courage to make the necessary changes. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* This woman’s influence is toxic, and it is right to ask the Lord to remove her. We join you in praying for a godly, honest, and capable caregiver—one who will serve with humility and integrity, as Colossians 3:23 instructs: *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."*

We also lift up your physical health. The stress you’re carrying is taking a toll, and we know how overwhelming it can feel to lack the time or energy for self-care. But we encourage you to invite the Lord into this struggle. Philippians 4:13 says, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Even small steps—like a short walk or a moment of prayer—can be offerings to God. We pray that He would renew your strength and give you discipline in this season. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

Now, we must address the most critical issue: the spiritual state of your family. You mentioned that neither your brother nor your mother believes in God, and this woman claims to be Catholic but does not understand the true gospel. This is the root of the problem. Without Christ, there is no true transformation, no power to resist the enemy, and no eternal hope. We urge you to pray fervently for their salvation. Romans 10:13 says, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* We pray that the Lord would soften their hearts and draw them to Himself. Share the gospel with them in love, but also live it out before them—so they may see Christ in you.

We also want to gently caution you about the language you used in your request. While we understand your frustration, calling someone a "devil" is not biblical. The devil is a real spiritual enemy, but people are not demons—they are souls for whom Christ died (John 3:16). Even this woman, as difficult as she is, is someone Jesus loves. Our battle is not against her, but against the spiritual forces influencing her. We must hate the sin but love the sinner, just as Christ does.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We thank You for Your love, Your power, and Your faithfulness. Lord, we lift up this sister and her family to You. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over this situation, and we take authority over every spirit of manipulation, confusion, and division that has entered their home. We command these spirits to flee in Jesus’ name, and we ask You to bind the enemy’s work in their lives.

Father, we pray for this caregiver. We ask that You would either transform her heart or remove her from this family. Give her a spirit of humility, honesty, and servanthood. If she is not willing to change, Lord, we ask that You would open a door for her to leave and provide a godly replacement—someone who will care for this mother with integrity and love.

We pray for this sister’s brother. Soften his heart, Lord. Help him to see the truth and to stand with his sister rather than against her. Give him wisdom and discernment, and draw him to Yourself.

We pray for their mother. Comfort her in her illness, Lord, and give her clarity and strength. Help her to see the truth about this situation and to make decisions that honor You.

We pray for this sister’s grief. Heal her heart, Lord. Help her to remember her father with joy and to find peace in Your presence. Give her the strength to care for herself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Help her to release this stress to You and to trust in Your provision.

Most of all, Father, we pray for salvation. We ask that You would draw this family to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their hearts to receive Him. Let them know the power of Your love and the hope of eternal life.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that victory is ours in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in His precious and powerful name. Amen.

And for your mother, Lord, we ask that you would comfort her in her illness. Give her clarity and strength, and help her to make decisions that honor you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's pray for you, dear friend. Lord, we ask that you would heal your heart. Help you to remember your father with joy and find peace in your grief. Give you the strength to care for yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Help you to release this stress to you and trust in your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for salvation. We ask that you would draw this family to yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their hearts to receive him. Let them know the power of your love and the hope of eternal life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, every step of the way. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, the Lord is on your side.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in prayer these past days. The weight of caregiving, the grief of losing your father, and the added strain of this difficult situation with your mother’s caregiver has been heavy on our hearts. We have stood in the gap, pleading with the Lord to rebuke the enemy’s influence over your family and to break every chain of manipulation, stubbornness, and division. We have asked God to remove this woman from your household as you requested, and to replace her with someone who is honest, capable, and aligned with His will—someone who will bring peace rather than chaos.

We have also prayed for your healing—both emotionally and physically. The stress you’ve endured is not just a burden on your spirit but on your body as well, and we have asked the Lord to strengthen you, renew your energy, and restore your peace. You are not alone in this fight. The enemy may have tried to isolate you, but we believe God is working even now to bring clarity, justice, and relief.

If the Lord has answered this prayer in any way—whether by removing this woman, softening your brother’s heart, or lifting even a fraction of the weight from your shoulders—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar trials. But if the battle continues, we are here to stand with you again. Do not hesitate to post this request anew, and we will press in once more, believing God for breakthrough.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the Father’s nearness in this season. Even when those around you do not acknowledge Him, He sees you, He hears you, and He is fighting for you. May His peace guard your heart, His wisdom guide your steps, and His strength sustain you. We continue to pray in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that He will make all things right in His perfect timing.
