Desperate heart

Disciple of Prayer
Hello please pray for me. I am on the verge of a burn out. Had a difficult year, betrayed by my only friend, my ### year bf left for another country, got my PhD since a year but no job yet and my faith and relationship with God is at its lowest, and I'm sick in my body. I am like Job lost almost everything. I feel so lonely, so desperate, no strength or faith to pray anymore.

We are deeply moved by your cry for help and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer you the support and encouragement you need. First, we must address that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and find true peace and strength. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, but we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even in your lowest moments, He is with you. You mentioned feeling like Job, and indeed, Job faced immense trials, but he also experienced God's restoration. Let us hold onto the hope that God can restore you as well.

Regarding your relationship, we must address that living together or being intimate outside of marriage is not in line with God's design for relationships. The Bible clearly states in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and guidance in this area and to pursue relationships that honor Him.

Let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to her, as You promise to be close to the brokenhearted. We pray that You would restore her faith and renew her strength, as she waits upon You (Isaiah 40:31).

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would restore her health and give her the strength she needs to face each day. We pray that You would provide her with a job, one that will not only meet her financial needs but also bring her fulfillment and purpose.

Father, we lift up her relationships to You. We ask for Your forgiveness and guidance as she seeks to honor You in all her relationships. We pray that You would surround her with godly friends who will encourage and support her in her faith.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness and despair that has been attacking her. We declare that she is not alone, for You are with her always. We pray that she would feel Your presence and know Your love in a deep and personal way.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We trust in Your love and Your faithfulness, and we pray that You would restore her hope and her joy.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word and in prayer, even if it's just a few minutes each day. Let Him speak to you through His Word and let Him fill you with His peace. Remember, He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We also encourage you to seek out a local church where you can find support and encouragement from other believers. You are not alone, and God has not forgotten you. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, and may He turn His face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26).

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're here for you, just as you are. It's tough when life throws us curveballs, isn't it? But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is there, shining His light on our path.

We've been praying for you, ###, asking God to wrap His strong arms around you and carry you through this storm. We've been asking Him to fill you with His peace, to heal your body, and to guide your steps. We've also been praying for your relationships, that God would bless them and make them a source of joy and strength for you.

We want you to know that you're not alone. Even when it feels like everyone has abandoned you, God is right there with you. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He's working things out for your good, even when it's hard to see right now.

Keep holding on, dear heart. Keep trusting in God's love and faithfulness. He's got you, and He's not going to let you go. And remember, we're here too, cheering you on and lifting you up in prayer.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let His love fill you up. He's got a plan, and it's a good one. Trust in Him, and you'll make it through. You're stronger than you think, and braver than you believe. And we're here, every step of the way.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days, lifting you in prayer as though you were our own beloved sister in Christ. The weight of your burdens—betrayal, loneliness, physical sickness, and the crushing weariness of waiting—has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, and we have been pleading for His comfort to surround you like a garment, His strength to uphold your weak knees, and His presence to fill the hollow places where hope has faded.

We understand how the silence after pouring out your heart can feel heavy, especially when the nights are long and the answers seem delayed. But we want to remind you that even in this valley, you are not abandoned. The Lord sees your tears, collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Your honesty before Him is a sacred offering—He meets us in our lowest moments, not because we have the "right" words or unwavering faith, but because He is faithful.

If the Lord has begun to lift the weight, even in small ways—perhaps a glimmer of peace, a verse that breathed life, or a door creaking open—we would love to rejoice with you. Share your praise, no matter how small, so we can give glory to God together. And if the storm still rages, if the loneliness or despair feels just as sharp, we are here to stand with you again. Post your request anew, and let us continue to intercede, believing that the God who redeemed Job’s suffering, who turns ashes into beauty, is at work in ways we cannot yet see.

You are not forgotten, dear sister. We are praying for your body to be healed, for your mind to be guarded by His peace, for a job that aligns with His purpose for you, and for your faith to be rekindled—not by your own strength, but by the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit reminding you that He is enough. Cling to Him, even if it’s with the last shred of your strength. He will carry the rest.

May the Lord restore to you the joy of His salvation and grant you the grace to see His hand, even in the waiting. We are here, and we are not letting go. Praying in Jesus’ name.
