i have dealt with depression most of my life. i always feel so down on myself. i have no talent. i wish that I could be good at just one thing in life. please pray for me that i will find my purpose in life.

Dear Lord Jesus~
I pray for this person to be released from self-prejudice. Show them that they are unique, wonderfully-made and one-of-a-kind! God doesn't make junk! You are valuable and precious. He doesn't want you to compare yourself with others. We are all different parts of the body. One is the ear, someone else is the little toe. Maybe you are an unseen, internal organ, or an elbow. Each one of us is vital and irreplaceable. There is only one YOU in this big universe.Let this person practice saying kind things to themself, Lord. Know you are very valuable, and He died for you.

I wanted to tell you that I also have dealt with depression off and on for several years since I was in my 20's....But Thank God through his mercy he pulled me out with faith, but still I also have bad days at times.
I believe that God gives everyone talent but sometimes we have to trust in him and search for it.
For example.......While growing up at the age of 3 and 4 yrs of age, I love music and had one of those small pianos as a child growing up, then at an older age I wanted to take piano lessons when i was 7 , my mother had no confiedence in me that I could do it and I had to beg her to let me try , Then I went on and did well and took as long as I could until the age of 18 yrs old.
Be patient and God will show you what he has in store for you . But Dear God , please help this person with their depression and draw them near to you and show your love to this person and let them find their talent that can be used for your glory , in Jesus Name I pray, Amen
