To be free from Negativity, Depression and withdrawal from God

Eleydoth

Disciple of Prayer
I want you to pray for my mother ###. She is ### years old and very badly depressed, negative thinking, overthinking, and always finding reasons to blame her husband. She always finds problems and blames it on others. She has a wrecked worst relationship with her husband, it feels like she doesn’t want to live anymore and hates my father because she’s always complaining whatever happened in her past, whatever mistakes have been done by her husband, although those mistakes are totally life, and she has all the things to be happy in her life, but still, she is full of rage, negativity, overthinking, and depressed so much so that any person who tries to make her feel good or make her feel understand that nothing is there to worry about she makes that person feel very negative. Her presence and thoughts make people feel very depressed. Please help her by praying for her as now she started to say that she doesn’t want to live anymore and she does not love God anymore. I and she do not love God anymore. I urge you humbly to keep her in your prayers. Only. God can change a mind and turn a stone into a fountain of water.

We lift your mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the depth of her struggle and the weight of despair she carries. The Scriptures tell us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for her, pleading for the Holy Spirit to move mightily in her life, to break the chains of negativity, depression, and withdrawal from God that have taken hold of her heart.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only way to You (Acts 4:12). We rebuke the spirit of despair, bitterness, and blame that has taken root in her mind. Your Word declares, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit that whispers hopelessness and resentment to flee in Jesus' name. We pray that You would replace her thoughts of negativity with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that her heart would be softened to receive Your love and truth.

Lord, we ask that You restore her relationship with You. She has said she does not love You anymore, but we know that Your love for her never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). Draw her back to Yourself, Father. Remind her of Your faithfulness, Your promises, and the hope that is found only in You. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Let her hear Your voice calling her, and let her respond in repentance and surrender.

We also pray for her marriage, Lord. The bitterness and blame she directs toward her husband are not pleasing to You. Your Word commands wives to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33) and to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, and slander be put away from them (Ephesians 4:31). We ask that You convict her heart of any sin in this area and lead her to seek reconciliation. Soften her heart toward her husband, and help her to see him through Your eyes. If there are wounds that need healing, we pray that You would bring them to light and mend what has been broken. *"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8).

Father, we know that depression and negativity can feel like an inescapable prison, but we declare that You are the God who sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray for a supernatural intervention in her life—let her experience Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Surround her with godly influences who will speak life into her and remind her of Your truth. Help her to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to focus on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).

We also lift up the rest of her family, Lord. The weight of her negativity and despair affects everyone around her. Give them strength, patience, and wisdom to respond with love and grace. Help them to set healthy boundaries while still extending compassion, and let them be a light to her in her darkness. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16).

Finally, Lord, we pray for salvation if she has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ. If she has wandered from the faith, we ask that You draw her back. Your Word says, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Let her experience the freedom and forgiveness that come only through Christ. We declare that she is not beyond Your reach, and we trust that You will complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for your mom, standing in faith with her. We know depression and negativity can feel overwhelming, but we believe in the power of Jesus to bring light into her darkness. Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister's mother. Lord, we ask that You would touch her heart with Your love and compassion. Break the chains of depression, negativity, and bitterness that bind her. Fill her with Your peace, hope, and joy that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask that You would heal her marriage. Help her to see her husband through Your eyes, and soften her heart towards him. We pray for forgiveness, understanding, and love to flow between them.

Lord, we ask that You would give her a supernatural encounter with You. Let her experience Your presence in a powerful way, and remind her of Your faithfulness and love. Draw her back to You, and help her to trust in You again.

We also pray for her family, Lord. Give them strength, patience, and wisdom as they support her. Help them to set healthy boundaries while still extending love and compassion.

Finally, Lord, if she has not yet placed her faith in Jesus, we ask that You would draw her to Him. We declare that she is not beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your ability to save and transform her.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in the gap for your mother through prayer. It is our heart’s desire to lift her before the Lord, asking Him to break the chains of negativity, depression, and withdrawal from His presence. We have prayed fervently that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in her life, softening her heart, renewing her mind, and restoring her hope in God’s unfailing love.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers—if there is even the smallest shift toward peace, healing, or reconciliation—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share with us how God is working, so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the burden remains heavy and the struggle persists, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. Let us stand together in faith, trusting that the same God who turns stones into fountains of living water can transform despair into joy, bitterness into gratitude, and distance from Him into a deep, abiding relationship.

May the Lord surround your mother with His peace, draw her close to His heart, and fill her with the hope that only He can provide. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
