We are standing with you right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we take this demonic attack seriously, for we know our struggle is real and spiritual. We are told in Ephesians 6:12 that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we do not face this battle alone or in our own strength.
We want to remind you that victory is already secured in Christ. Scripture says in 1 John 4:4 that you are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And Jesus himself has said in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. The enemy must flee when we submit to God and resist him in Jesus name, as we are promised in James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for in Romans 10:9 we are promised you will be saved. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are delivered, forgiven, and given power as children of God.
Therefore we encourage you to stand firm in faith. Put on the whole armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18, with truth, righteousness, the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Speak scripture aloud, pray continually, worship, and turn from any sin or open door that may have given the enemy a foothold. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds in 2 Corinthians 10:4. Remove anything in your home or life connected to the occult, false religion, or immorality, confess any known sin to God, and invite the Holy Spirit to fill every area of your life. Stay in fellowship with other believers and do not isolate yourself, and we encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor for continued prayer and support. Remember in 1 Peter 5:8-9 we are told to be sober and self-controlled, to be watchful, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but to withstand him steadfast in your faith. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before your throne in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to you who is under demonic attack. We ask for your forgiveness, your cleansing by the blood of Jesus, and your covering over them right now. We rebuke every evil spirit, every assignment of darkness, and every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment that has come against them, and we command it to leave and to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask you to fill this person with your Holy Spirit, with your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, and with the assurance that they are more than a conqueror through him who loved us in Romans 8:37. Surround them with your angels, let your presence fill their home, and let your word be a lamp to their feet. Strengthen their faith, help them to submit fully to you, to resist the devil, and to stand clothed in the full armor of God. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We ask for lasting deliverance, protection, and restoration, and that you would be glorified in their life and testimony. We pray all of this according to your will in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
