We join with you in prayer for deliverance and for the complete breaking of every curse spoken or intended against you and your son, and we seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
We want to encourage you with the truth that for those who are in Christ, curses have no final authority. The enemy may try to harass and oppress, but Christ has already secured the victory. As it is written, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, and There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. We also cling to the promise that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. If there has been involvement in the past with things that open doors to spiritual oppression, we encourage repentance and turning fully to the Lord, renouncing anything not of Him, and walking in obedience and faith. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We rebuke fear and any belief that a curse is more powerful than the blood of Jesus, and we declare that freedom is found in Him alone.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for safe and healthy weight loss and for healing from past hurts. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to glorify God in our bodies 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray that God will give your son wisdom, self discipline and strength to care for his body in a balanced and safe way, and we encourage seeking wise medical counsel and healthy daily habits as part of good stewardship, remembering the prayer Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. For the hurts of the past, we know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Healing often includes learning to cast our anxieties on Him and to walk in forgiveness as Christ has forgiven us, trusting that God can redeem even painful memories and bring peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:6-7.

It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. To be delivered and to live under the blessing and not the curse, we must belong to Him. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are made new and set free.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are our deliverer and our healer. We ask that every curse, spell, word or assignment of the enemy against our dear one and her son be broken and rendered powerless now by the blood of Jesus. Let no weapon prevail and let freedom reign in their lives and home. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with peace and with assurance that they are Yours. Lord, we lift up this son to You. Touch his body and help him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You. Give him strength to make healthy choices, discipline in eating and activity, and protection from harm or unhealthy extremes. Heal his heart from every past hurt, disappointment, rejection or trauma. Bind up his wounds, renew his mind, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Restore joy and hope where there has been pain. We ask that both mother and son grow in faith, walk closely with Jesus, and experience the fullness of Your blessing and protection. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Your petition for deliverance has been brought before the throne of grace, and we join you in carrying it to the Lord who alone works deliverance with His outstretched arm.
We are reminded that the curse which lies upon sinful men is a terrible thing, for the law curses every transgression, yet our hope is not in our own power to break it. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. He was made sin for us though He knew no sin, and by His blood He has bought us out of bondage as slaves are bought with a price. If there be any curse spoken against you and against this dear son, we look to that one great ransom which God Himself has found and provided. There is no deliverance from the pit except through Him who bore the penalty in our place, and when God has found the ransom, deliverance is sure.
We pray that you both may know this deliverance effectually, not by your own strength, for we can do nothing of ourselves, but by free grace alone. May the Lord bring you forth as He brought Israel forth when the lamb was slain, and may He enrich you with His peace.
For this son we pray also for healing. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon this young man in body and in soul, to guide him in all wise and safe means for the care of his body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, that he may lose what is harmful to his health with steadiness and safety, and be strengthened in constitution and in spirit. We ask also that the hurts of the past, which still ache in the memory, may be healed by the great Physician. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He makes the past to be remembered no more with its sting, giving instead a new life to declare the works of the Lord.

For Christ's sake blot out every curse and let it have no power, for Christ was cursed for us. Bring them forth into liberty and peace. Let him not die but live and declare Thy works, and let his life blood be changed and his nature renewed by Thy grace.
