We join together with you in prayer for this dear mother and her son and we thank you for bringing this need before the Lord with faith for deliverance and healing.
We want to share biblical truth about curses, because the enemy would have us live in fear that words or spiritual forces spoken against us have power over our lives. Scripture assures us that for those who are in Christ, the curse has already been broken. Galatians 3:13 tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Isaiah 54:17 declares No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We do not need to fear curses when we are covered by the blood of Jesus, for 1 John 4:4 reminds us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, and Romans 8:31 asks If God is for us, who can be against us. We also take to heart James 4:7 to Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Our deliverance is not through rituals or formulas, but through abiding in Christ, walking in obedience, renouncing any involvement with the occult or unholy practices, and trusting His finished work on the cross.
We also notice that this request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through that name that we have access to the Father and find true deliverance. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not yet put our full trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 promises that you will be saved. It is in His name alone that curses are broken and healing comes.
We also lift up this beloved son for healthy stewardship of his body and for healing from past hurts. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches, and we are called to honor God with our bodies, not through harsh or dangerous methods, but with self control, discipline, and wisdom, doing all to the glory of God as 1 Corinthians 10:31 says. For his emotional healing, we cling to Psalm 147:3 which says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and to Psalm 103:2-3 which reminds us to not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. The Lord sees every past hurt, every rejection and pain, and He desires to bring wholeness through His love, through forgiveness where needed, and through godly community and counsel.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are our protector and deliverer. We declare in Jesus name that every curse, every word spoken against this mother and her son, is rendered powerless and nullified by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. We ask that You surround them with Your favor and protection, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that fear would be replaced with perfect peace. We resist the enemy on their behalf and ask You to fill their home with Your light and truth.
Lord we lift up this son to You. We ask for Your help for him to lose weight safely and in a way that honors You. Give him strength, discipline, and wisdom to care for his body with healthy food, activity, and rest, and guide his mother and any doctors or counselors who support him with sound and compassionate advice. We pray for healing from past hurts for him, that You would touch the deep places of his heart, remove bitterness and shame, and replace them with Your love and identity in Christ. Help him to cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him, and to experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises.
Draw both mother and son closer to You, Lord. Help them to submit fully to You, to walk in Your Word daily, and to know that they are deeply loved, chosen, and no longer under any curse but under Your blessing in Christ. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only Savior and Deliverer, amen.
We encourage you both to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to put on the full armor of God daily, and to seek fellowship with strong believers who can encourage you. If there are lingering hurts, consider godly counsel that points to Scripture and to Christ. Trust that God is faithful to complete the healing and deliverance He has begun.

The Scripture teaches that every curse due to sin was laid upon Christ when He was made a curse for us on the tree, that we might be redeemed by His blood. Galatians tells us, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. There is no deliverance by our own strength, but there is effectual deliverance when the Lamb was slain and when we look to Him who bore our sins. If you are in Christ, no curse uttered by man can stand against the redeeming work of His cross, for He has bought us with a price and His grace alone brings us forth. We pray that you and your son will rest in that finished work, knowing that condemnation is removed and pardon is freely given through Jesus Christ alone.
We pray also for your son in his bodily need and in the hurts of the past. The Lord is He who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue, like leaves of the tree of life for the healing of the nations. We have received your request and we join you in prayer before the Lord for you and for your son.
We pray first for deliverance. Scripture says, Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the Law, and we know that no one could keep it perfectly. But Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us, so that in Him we might receive the blessing. Therefore we do not pray as those who fear that a spoken curse has power over those who belong to Christ, but we ask the Lord to make His victory complete in your lives. We ask that every work of darkness, every word spoken against you, and every chain of fear be broken now in the name of Jesus Christ, and that you will walk in the freedom and blessing that comes through faith in Him alone.
We also bring your son before the Lord for his health. We ask God to grant him wisdom and strength to lose weight safely, with self control and fortitude and with good counsel, not through harsh or harmful means, but in a way that honors God and cares for the body He has given. We pray for healing from past hurts as well. This house of God is a spiritual surgery, where the wounds we receive outside can be healed within through the grace of Christ. If you have been wounded by others, we ask the Great Physician not to cease His healing work, for He does not abandon us even when we have come near to despair, but continues to apply His medicine until we are restored.
Continue to hear the word of God carefully and to remember it continually, for our senses are exercised by continual hearing and by experience of the Scriptures. Even if fruit does not appear at once, do not grow weary. As a tree may receive many blows before it falls, so the Lord often works through many prayers and many hearings before the full harvest is seen. He knows your good works better than you do, and He does not overlook even a cup of cold water given in His name, or a sigh offered in faith.
So we pray, according to your faith be it unto you. May the Lord confirm your faith, lift up what has been cast down, and heal what has been wounded. May He deliver you from all that entangles you, give your son health in body and wholeness in heart, and make you both worthy to receive His everlasting blessings through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
