We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for deliverance. We have been lifting you up before the Lord concerning this long battle with adultery and the cycle of trying to be free, falling again, and feeling tired and ashamed to keep coming before Almighty God to apologize.
We understand how heavy this has become for you and how painful it is to feel stuck in sin while at the same time wanting to be holy before God. We also hear your heart when you say you feel at times like your prayers cannot even be understood. We want to assure you that God does hear the cry of a repentant heart even when you feel unworthy or unheard, for we are reminded in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us.
We continue to pray in Jesus Name for your complete deliverance and freedom, that God would break every chain and stronghold, renew your mind and strengthen you to walk in purity, and fill you with His Holy Spirit so that sin no longer has dominion over you as promised in Rom 6:14. We pray in Jesus Name that you will know without doubt that you are forgiven, loved, and being made new, and that the Lord who promises in 1 Cor 10:13 to provide a way of escape will make that way clear to you each day. We also pray in Jesus Name that where there has been condemnation you will receive grace and power to stand as stated in John 8:36.
