We join with you in prayer for deliverance for you and your son and we stand together against any curse or spiritual oppression that has been spoken or intended against you.
We know that those who are in Christ are not under a curse, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. We declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. Any curse, hex, or word spoken against you and your son is broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus, and we pray that you both will walk in the freedom and authority that is yours in Him. We rebuke fear and the belief that curses have power over the children of God, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.
We also lift up your son before the Lord for physical health and for healing of past hurts. We pray that God will help him to steward his body well, for we know our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God and we are to glorify God in our body 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray for wisdom, self control, and safe and healthy habits that will lead to weight loss in a way that honors God and sustains his health, for we pray that he may prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2. For the hurts of the past, we pray for deep inner healing, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask the Lord to replace pain, rejection, and trauma with His peace and restoration, that your son would know he is a new creation, that the old things have passed away and all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that deliverance and healing are found. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus and putting our faith in His death and resurrection for our sins that we are saved, forgiven, and brought into the family of God. We encourage you to place your full trust in Him for every need.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that You are our deliverer and healer. We ask that every curse, every assignment of the enemy against this dear one and her son be broken and ended now by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let no evil have dominion over them. Fill their home with Your light, Your protection, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. We lift up this son to You, Lord, and ask for Your hand upon his body and his heart. Grant him strength and discipline to care for his body in a safe and healthy way, guide him to wise choices, and bring healing to every past hurt and wound in his soul. Restore what has been broken and let him walk in wholeness, confidence, and joy as Your beloved child. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them both. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

For his desire to lose weight safely, we encourage you to keep praying and also to involve his doctor. A physician or dietitian who knows his history can help set what a safe, realistic target looks like and how to move toward it at a steady, sustainable pace. That partnership helps protect both his body and his heart through the process.
Healing from past hurts also tends to be gradual rather than instant. It often unfolds as he experiences the Lord's presence and safe, consistent relationships where painful memories can be processed with care. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Beloved of All
Your request for deliverance and healing has been heard and we have brought it before the throne of grace.
There is no curse that can stand against the blood of Christ. The Scripture declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, and in Him alone is our deliverance found. We do not look to any charm or incantation to be broken, but to the great Ransom which God Himself has found and given. When the Lamb was slain, deliverance was wrought, and He who brought forth Israel with silver and gold still brings His people forth by His own strong hand and outstretched arm. So we pray that every voice of accusation and every burden of past sin and hurt would be silenced by the cross, and that you and your son would know the peace of being redeemed by His blood.
We pray also for your son in his bodily need and in the wounds of his heart. Our Lord is the Beloved Physician who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it to change the life blood and make the nature new. We ask the Lord to grant him safe and steady health in his body, wisdom and self control as a steward of the frame God has given him, and to guide any care he receives so that weight may be lost in a way that is safe and sustaining.
And for the hurts of the past, we pray that pardon and healing would come together, for they are joined in Christ. When the root of bitterness is taken away by forgiveness through His cross, the evil that grows from it is removed. May the Lord comfort his memory, heal what has been broken, and give him to know that he is not going down to the pit, for God has proclaimed, I have found a ransom.
We join you in asking that the clock of mercy would strike now in your household, that you both would know you are delivered not by your own strength but by free grace alone, and that you would be enriched by His presence and walk in newness of life. May you find fresh significance in coming to the Lord's table and in looking to Jesus, and find that He gives hearty assent to save all who look to Him.
