We join with you in prayer for deliverance and healing for you and your son, and we stand together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We want to share biblical truth about curses because we do not want you to live in fear. For those who are in Christ, no curse can cling or prevail over what Jesus has already accomplished. Scripture tells us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13 and that He has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13. We also cling to the promise that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. If there has been witchcraft, spoken curses, generational patterns, or the enemy's lies spoken over you and your son, we rebuke that influence now and declare it broken and powerless at the cross. We do not need a ritual or special formula, we simply rest in the finished work of Jesus and walk in obedience, repentance, forgiveness, and faith, putting on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that deliverance truly comes. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. It is in His name alone that we pray and have confidence that God hears us.
We lift up your son before the Lord for his physical health and for healing from past hurts. We pray that God will help him to steward his body in a safe and healthy way, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We pray against any shame, trauma, or emotional pain that has weighed on his heart and contributed to struggles with weight, and we ask the Lord to heal him wholly. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that God will give him self-control and peace, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and that he would prosper in health even as his soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We encourage practical steps as well with wisdom and counsel from trusted medical guidance, balanced nutrition, daily movement, rest, and leaning on the Holy Spirit for strength rather than quick or harmful methods, trusting that God cares for both body and soul.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that the blood of Jesus breaks every curse, every chain, and every weapon formed against this dear mother and her son. We declare in Jesus' name that every curse, spoken word, and assignment of the enemy against them is ended now and has no authority, and we ask You to fill that place with Your protection, Your peace, and Your blessing. Lord, we lift up this son to You, we ask for safe and steady weight loss according to Your design, for discipline, health, and strength in his body, and for deep healing from past hurts, rejection, and pain. Heal his heart, renew his mind, and let him know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Restore joy where there has been sorrow and help this family to walk in freedom, forgiveness, and faith. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you both to remain in the Word daily, to pray in Jesus' name, to speak Scripture aloud over your home, and to walk in forgiveness and obedience, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We are continuing to stand with you for complete deliverance, health, and wholeness.

We have heard your request for deliverance and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking that He who alone can save and heal will be gracious to you and to your son.
The Scripture teaches that every soul under sin lies under the curse of the law, and that no charm or word of man can lift it. There is but one deliverance, and that is by a ransom which God Himself has found. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, that the blessing might come to us through His blood. If you and your son are in Christ by faith, that curse is already borne and broken at Calvary, for He was slain and has redeemed us to God by His blood. We pray that you will look to Him who was lifted up, as those bitten by the serpent looked to the brazen serpent and lived, and find in Him your full discharge from every curse and accusation. What Christ has done is not a partial deliverance but an effectual one, for He brings forth His people with His own hand.
We pray also for your son according to the flesh, that the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would be his physician. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only in what we might call His greater works, but in the very leaves of the Tree of Life, for the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one in His hand. We ask the Lord to give your son healing from past hurts, to change the lifeblood and make the nature new, to lift the weight of sorrow that has broken the heart, for God only can heal a broken heart though He may use many means to break it.
For his body we pray that the Lord will grant wisdom, self control and safe and steady health, that he may lose weight in a way that strengthens his frame and honors God who formed it, and that he may be kept from harsh or harmful ways. We ask for daily grace to walk in temperance and for the help of wise counsel, that his body may be cared for as the temple of the Holy Spirit and his spirit kept in peace.
May the Lord grant you both to know that deliverance is of free grace only, and to rest not in any outward form but in the person of Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. We pray that you will come weekly and daily to His table and to His Word and find it always fresh, and that you will know the peace which He gives within your borders.
We commend you to Him who hears the cry of His people and who brings forth His own with silver and gold, with enrichment and not with loss. May He blot out all past sin, brighten the future with the hope of eternal glory, and let the clock of mercy strike the hour of deliverance and healing in your house, according to His perfect will. We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and deliverance.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would be shown to have no power, for Scripture tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, and that those who are in Him are blessed and not cursed. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to silence every accusation of the enemy, and to let you and your son walk in the freedom and peace that belong to those who trust in Him.
We pray also for your son's health. We ask God to grant him wisdom and strength to lose weight safely, to care for his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, with sound guidance, self control and perseverance. We pray for healing from past hurts, that the Lord who is the true physician would heal the wounds received in the past, comfort his heart, renew his mind through the continual hearing of the Word, and restore him to wholeness.
May the Lord give you both fortitude, a steady hope, and a continual recollection of His promises, and may He deliver you from all that would hinder your walk with Him. We ask that you would both grow in faith, be guarded in body and soul, and know the everlasting blessings that are in Christ.
