Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all true deliverance and healing rest.

Father God, we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ and rebuke every curse, generational bondage, and evil assignment that has been spoken or aligned against ### and her son. The Word declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" We declare that the blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every word spoken in judgment, every generational iniquity, and every assignment of darkness in Jesus' mighty name. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every ungodly tie, and let Your light expose and dismantle every hidden snare.

Lord, we lift up ###’s son to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and sustainable weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and grace. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We ask that You would give him discipline, self-control, and a heart that desires to honor You with his body. Surround him with godly influences, wise counsel, and the strength to resist temptation. Heal his metabolism, balance his hormones, and renew his mind with Your truth about health and stewardship.

Father, we also bring before You the deep wounds of his past. The enemy has sought to use pain as a foothold, but we declare that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would reveal any areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or trauma still linger. Soften his heart to release every offense into Your hands, for Your Word commands us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Bring godly mentors, counselors, and friends into his life who can speak life and truth over him. Let him experience Your love in tangible ways, knowing that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We also pray for ###, that she would find her strength and identity in Christ alone. Motherhood can be a heavy burden, especially when carrying concerns for our children. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant her wisdom as she guides and supports her son. Let her rest in the promise of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation. Bring conviction where there is sin, comfort where there is pain, and breakthrough where there is bondage. We declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, just as it is in heaven.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight of what you’re carrying, and we’re joining you in prayer for your son and for your peace. It’s clear you love him fiercely, and it’s painful to watch someone you care about struggle with past wounds and the physical burdens that so often come with them. We’re lifting both of you to the One who sees it all and who invites us to bring every concern to Him.

You’ve asked for an end to any curses spoken over you and your son. We’re praying with you for protection, that any darkness intended for harm would be silenced and cut off, and that Jesus’ authority would stand like a wall around you both. Without giving those forces more attention than they deserve, we can simply ask God to make His ownership of your lives undeniable and strong.

For your son’s weight loss and healing, we’re asking God for wisdom and a gentle path forward. It’s not about quick fixes; it’s about his whole self, body, mind, and spirit, finding restoration. We’d suggest he talk with a doctor who can help him pursue this safely, with a plan that considers his overall health. Alongside that, we can pray for the Holy Spirit to mend the inner hurts that may be weighing on his heart more than anything else. Memories that still sting don’t have to keep their old power; Jesus is able to bring real peace into those places, sometimes little by little, as he learns to trust again.

You might also find it helps to connect your son with a wise pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with him through the emotional side of this, someone to listen without judgment and help him sort through what’s behind the pain.

We’re pausing now to pray with you:

Father, we come to You in Jesus’ name. We ask You to block every curse spoken against this parent and son, and to cover them with Your protection and peace. For this son, we ask for safety and steady healing, in his body, in his memories, and in his spirit. Guide him to wise helpers and give him courage to take small steps. Bring comfort where the past haunts him, and let him know he is deeply loved. Restore hope to this family, and let them see Your hand at work. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is no curse left to fall upon a child of God, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. The curse that you dread has spent itself upon the head of your Substitute; the venom of that serpent has been drained into the cup which Jesus drank to its dregs. How can you be under a curse when the Lord has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus? The true curse of sin and death is broken, and if any man, however bitter, should rail against you, remember David's spirit when Shimei reviled him: "Let him curse, because the Lord has said unto him." The Lord permits trials, but never the curse of His justice to alight upon His own.

For the son, the healing he needs, whether of body or of soul, comes from the same tree. The leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Christ is charged with restoring power. Let him look to the Sun of Righteousness, who rises with healing in His wings; pardon and healing walk hand in hand. The weight of the body is often tangled with the wounds of the spirit, but Jesus comes with a double cure. When the inhabitant shall not say, "I have been sick," it is because the joy of forgiveness makes the sorrow of the past a forgotten thing. God, who delivers from the pit, knows how to lift every burden laid upon heart and flesh; in His time, He brings forth silver and gold from the furnace of affliction.

Only let this be done by free grace and not by our own striving. Deliverance from any snare, whether of past hurts or present habits, is still the work of an outstretched arm, not an improved will. Look to Jesus upon the Cross; there is life for a look at the Crucified One. The brazen serpent lifted in the wilderness gave healing to all who turned their eyes toward it, and so sin-sick souls, and bodies weakened by sorrow, find their remedy in one glance of faith. Pray, then, with confidence, knowing that He who has found a ransom for the soul will not withhold the lesser mercies of strength and sanctification. Declare His works while you wait, for the Lord who has delivered and will yet deliver shall have all the praise.

You ask for deliverance from curses, yet what curse can touch those whom Christ has blessed? He became a curse for us, hanging on the tree, to bring the blessing to all who live by faith. Do not fix your eyes on words of ill will, but on the mercy that swallows them whole. For if you pray against any, even in your heart, the harm rebounds on yourself. The tongue that receives the Lord’s Body must pour out nothing but sweetness. Far be it from a disciple to cry, “Do to him as he has done!” That is not prayer; it is poison. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Bless, and no curse can cling to you or your son.

Your son carries past hurts. Let him learn from Paul, who did not hide his stripes but bore them as a standard. Those wounds, endured with patience, declare a louder defense than any words. They are not marks of shame but proof that Christ’s power rests on him. Teach him to offer his memories as a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and God will heal what man cannot reach.

As for his body, be careful lest the desire for a smaller frame become a snare. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of trifles choke the word. Pursue health that serves the soul, not the mirror. Moderation in all things, prayer, and manual labor will accomplish more than anxious fretting. The body is but a garment; the soul is the treasure. Let him cultivate a gentle and quiet spirit, merciful, peaceable, clean of heart. Then, more than by any diet, he will attract the grace of God and the goodwill of all. Come, let us tend the wounds of the inner man, and the outer will follow.

The power of any curse spoken against you or your son is broken. It is not a game of equal forces, where a dark word can somehow override what God has declared. Remember the story of Balaam. A king hired him to curse God’s people, and God’s response was absolute: “You shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.” God is not a man that he should lie. What He has blessed remains blessed. Any voice that rises against you or your son, any word meant to bring harm, must fall silent before that unchangeable truth.

The real foundation here is far deeper than the words of others. The ultimate curse humanity faces is the curse of the law, the righteous condemnation that rests on every one of us who has failed to keep God’s commands perfectly. That curse brought death and separation. But the very heart of the gospel is that Christ has redeemed us from that curse. He became a curse for us, hanging on that tree, bearing the thorns that symbolized the curse on a fallen world. He took it all. So if Jesus has absorbed the ultimate curse on your behalf, no lesser curse from any human source has any hold on you. You are an heir to the blessing promised to Abraham, and that blessing is yours now through faith in Him. Pray with that confidence: the curse is ended because Christ has already declared it so.

Regarding your son’s healing and weight loss, I want to encourage you to hold firmly to your trust, especially if the process is gradual. We see in Scripture that Jesus healed in many ways: sometimes instantly with a word, other times progressively, as when the lepers were cleansed as they went on their way. A healing that unfolds over time is no less a divine work. God designed the processes of the body, and He is the one who guides them. Pray for wisdom for your son, for discipline, and for the right support, trusting the Lord to work through those means.

The healing from past hurts may also be a journey. Some of the most profound work God does is internal, in the scars of the mind and the wounds of the heart. Do not discount that. It may not always be visible, but when the Lord brings peace where there was turmoil, wholeness where there was brokenness, and a sound mind where there were painful memories, that is a powerful, divine healing. Like the one leper who returned to thank Jesus, he discovered that his gratitude led to an even greater gift: being made whole. Keep looking to Jesus for the whole restoration. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
