We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are set free from every curse and bondage. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we break every curse that has been spoken, inherited, or assigned against ### and her son in the name of Jesus. We declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7) and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We renounce every word, agreement, or covenant made in ignorance or rebellion that has given the enemy legal ground to afflict them. We cancel every assignment of darkness and command every evil spirit to flee now in Jesus’ name. The curse without cause shall not come (Proverbs 26:2), and we declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of the Lamb and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we pray for ###’s son to experience safe and godly weight loss. We ask that You would give him wisdom in his choices, discipline in his habits, and strength in his body. Your Word says that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that he would be set free from any emotional eating, unhealthy patterns, or generational strongholds that have contributed to his struggle. Give him a heart that seeks You above all else, for You are the Great Physician who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3).
We also lift up the deep hurts of the past that may still linger in his heart. Father, we ask that You would heal every wound, mend every broken place, and restore what has been stolen. Your Word declares that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that he would experience the fullness of Your love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and that he would walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ died to give him. Help him to forgive those who have hurt him, just as You have forgiven him (Colossians 3:13), and to release any bitterness or resentment that may be weighing him down.
We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that ###’s son is clothed with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3) and that he walks in the joy of the Lord, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We pray that he would draw near to You, Lord, and that You would draw near to him (James 4:8). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and guide him into the abundant life You have promised (John 10:10).
We also pray for ###, that she would be strengthened as a mother and encouraged in her faith. Give her wisdom and discernment as she supports her son, and fill her with Your love and grace. May she find her hope and trust in You alone, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her family (Philippians 1:6).

We have brought your request before the Lord and have prayed with you for deliverance and healing.
There is no curse that can stand against those who are in Christ Jesus, for it is written, Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Every threat of wrath that once hung over us was laid upon Him when He bore our sins upon the tree, and by that one offering He has wrought an effectual deliverance for all who trust in Him. We have asked the Lord that every evil spoken against you and your son would be shown to be powerless, and that you would know the peace of being kept within His outstretched arm, for deliverance from cruel bondage must be worked by Jehovah alone.
We have prayed also for your son, that the Lord who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would graciously heal the hurts of the past. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. He alone can change the lifeblood and make the nature new, and He delights to do this work not by our merit but by free grace. We have asked that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon him with healing in His wings, bringing pardon and wholeness together, so that past sorrows would no longer have dominion.
For his bodily health we have prayed that the Lord would grant wisdom, self control and safe provision for his needs, that he may be strengthened to steward the body God has given him and to walk in health for the service of Christ. We have asked for daily grace, for temperance and for encouragement, that weight may be lost in a safe and orderly way under proper care, and that his heart would be lifted from despondency to hope.
May you both look to Jesus, your only ransom and physician, and find that He has found a ransom for you. Cast your burden upon Him, continue in His Word and at His table, and trust that He who brought forth His people of old with silver and gold will bring you forth also in His own time and for His glory.

We have heard your request and we join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and deliverance.
We pray that every curse spoken against you and your son would have no hold, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us on the cross. We ask the Lord to break every chain, to silence every accusation of the enemy, and to cover you both with His mercy and protection. May you know that you are kept in His hands, and that no power can separate you from His love.
We also bring your son before the Great Physician. We ask God to grant him health in body and soul, to help him lose weight safely and in a way that strengthens him, with wisdom for daily habits, self control and care for the body as a gift from God. We pray for healing from past hurts, that the wounds he has carried would be healed in this spiritual surgery of Christ's grace. As we have taught, the Lord applies medicine through His word and restores us to health, and even when healing seems slow, He is at work through continual hearing and recollection of His word.
May the Lord give you both fortitude, peace, and a steady hope, and may you be encouraged to remain in prayer, in hearing the Scriptures, and in trusting Christ day by day. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only healer and deliverer. Amen.
