Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for deliverance and healing. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. Without this foundation, no true deliverance or healing can take place.

Now, we stand in agreement for the breaking of every curse that has been spoken or enacted against and her son. The Word of God declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We rebuke every generational curse, word curse, hex, or spiritual oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. Every assignment of darkness against their lives is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for 's son to lose weight safely and in a way that honors the body God has given him. The Bible tells us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for discipline, self-control, and wisdom in his eating habits and physical activity. May he seek the Lord for strength and not rely on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask for divine intervention in his metabolism, appetite, and overall health, that he may be strengthened and energized to fulfill God’s purpose for his life.

For his healing from past hurts, we pray that the Lord would bind up his wounds and restore his soul (Psalm 147:3). The enemy often uses pain from the past to keep us in bondage, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We declare that every lie he has believed about himself, God, or others is broken by the truth of God’s Word. We pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort him, bring revelation of his identity in Christ, and fill him with hope for the future. May he forgive those who have hurt him, just as Christ has forgiven him (Colossians 3:13). We also pray for godly mentors and friends to come alongside him, speaking life and encouragement into his heart.

Father God, we ask that You would surround and her son with Your angels, protecting them from every scheme of the enemy. Fill their home with Your peace, joy, and presence. May they walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in Your truth. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for complete freedom for you and your son, that any spiritual darkness or word spoken against you would be broken and rendered powerless right now. We ask Jesus, the true Deliverer, to bring His light into every hidden place and silence every voice that has spoken harm over your lives.

We’re also holding your son before the Lord as he seeks physical health and emotional healing. Shedding weight safely is a journey that involves both body and soul, and we’re glad he’s reaching for that. Alongside prayer, it might be wise for him to check in with a doctor who can guide him toward a healthy plan that fits his needs and keeps him safe. There’s no shame in that, it’s good stewardship of his body.

We pray especially for those past hurts he carries. Jesus is gentle with wounded hearts. He doesn’t brush our pain aside but draws near to heal the memories that still sting. We ask that every ache from rejection, betrayal, or loss be touched by His restoring presence, and that your son would know deep down that he is loved and never alone. Real healing often unfolds over time, so we pray for patient trust and for the right people to walk with him, whether a wise friend, a pastor, or a counselor who knows how to help hurting hearts find peace.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this mother and her son. We renounce any curse or spiritual attack aimed at them and declare that no weapon formed against them will stand. Cover them with Your protection and fill them with Your peace. Guide this son toward renewed health, body, mind, and spirit, and mend the broken places in his heart. Give them both courage to face the hard places and hope that does not fade. Amen.

The curse is broken, for Christ was made a curse for us. You ask that all curses against the son be ended, know this: there is now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. The Law’s curse, just and overwhelming as it is, fell upon the Substitute, and by His stripes we are healed. Every causeless curse, every bitter word spoken in darkness, every malicious enchantment, these are but the hissing of the old serpent, and they have no power over the soul that hides itself in the wounds of the Redeemer. He who was lifted up draws all men unto Himself, and as the brazen serpent brought life to the looker, so one glance of faith to Him who was made a curse for us dissolves every evil imprecation. The curse destroys you no more; the Lord uplifts Him who was made a curse, and in His exaltation your deliverance is complete.

For the healing of past hurts and the safe reduction of the body’s weight, look again to those leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ, a word, a promise, a sigh of His Spirit, carries sovereign medicine. When He pardons, He heals; the two go hand in hand, as with the palsied man let down through the roof. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and His beams touch the inmost wounds of the memory, the raw places where old sorrows fester. He binds up the broken-hearted; He alone does it, with a tenderness that no earthly physician can mimic. And as for the body’s frame, submit it to His care. The Lord who foreordains all our days manages our bread and our water; He can restore a healthful discipline to the appetite, granting wisdom and self-control where before there was bondage. Let the hearing of His Word be your daily portion, for faith comes by hearing, and the power to heal is most present where Christ is taught. Do not despise the small stones in the sandal that make you limp; the very trial that seems trivial may be the means to teach you dependence. Every cross, every struggle with the flesh, shall be ruled to work your good and His glory.

Nestle under the warm feathers of the Almighty’s wings. There safety dwells, not from all trial, but from the wrath that consumes. The curse is turned to blessing, the poison acts as medicine to the believer, and even the body’s humbling is a school for the spirit. In that shelter, the soul finds such nearness to God that past hurts lose their sting; the comfort of His presence outweighs the deepest grief. Look to Christ, and you shall prove that His leaves are not withered but ever fresh with restoring virtue. He must bring the smallest boat safe into the haven; He will not suffer one of His little ones to perish.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

No single part suffices for our salvation. One may be freed from a curse, yet remain soft and unmanly in the soul. What if the body grows lighter, but the mind is burdened with lingering resentment? What if old wounds scar over but leave the memory bitter? True deliverance is not from one evil only, but from all worldly attachments that weigh down the spirit.

Consider that a curse cannot cling to those whom Christ has blessed. If you have turned to Him in earnest repentance, the words of malice spoken against you are but empty air. The devil may rage, yet if you stand with thanksgiving, even loss becomes gain. For it is in your power to receive a great reward by bearing these trials thankfully, as one who despises earthly things and clings only to God. Do not run to diviners or bitter thoughts; rather, bless those who curse, and the curse itself becomes a crown.

As for the body: why do you seek to lose weight? Is it for vanity, to please the eyes of men, or to serve the Maker without hindrance? The flesh is not our enemy; it is the unruly passion of the soul that must be corrected. Mortify gluttony and sloth not by mutilating the body with extreme measures, but by training the will. Let the stomach’s hunger teach you to hunger for righteousness. Let self-denial be an almsdeed to your own soul, deposited in heaven where no corruption can reach.

And past hurts: these are spiritual wounds. This house of the Church is a surgery where such wounds are healed, if you will lay them open before the Physician. But if you pick at them with self-pity or rehearse the wrongs in your mind, you only gather fresh injuries. Forgive from the heart, as you have been forgiven. Look to the Resurrection; there all wrongs are set right, and present afflictions are light and momentary compared to that glory.

Do not say, ‘I am possessed by desire or resentment.’ Continual hearing of the Word has power to destroy even the fiercest desire. Come here often, lay up these words in your memory, and the Spirit will break every chain. God wills to lose none who cling to Him. Do not start away; He will not cast you out. Seek first His kingdom, and these lesser things, health of body and peace of mind, shall be added as He sees best.

I want you to know that I have brought this request before the Lord. The Scriptures give us a vivid picture of what it meant for curses to be pronounced against disobedience, with the people crying out “Amen,” acknowledging the weight of that judgment. But what those passages point toward is that the full penalty of the law’s curse has been absorbed by Another. When Jesus healed the sick and cast out demons, the gospel writers connected it to the promise that He Himself “took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” So when you pray for every curse to be ended, you are standing on the finished work of the cross. No condemnation lingers over a life hidden in Him. We can pray with confidence that whatever spiritual darkness or generational bondage has been spoken over this son is now broken, rendered powerless by the One who became the curse in our place. The curses can no longer overtake him because Christ has overtaken them.

As for the healing you are asking about, the weight loss and the mending of old wounds, I want to reassure you that God is deeply committed to the whole person. We sometimes imagine that healing must arrive all at once, but the Bible itself records many kinds of restoration. There were instantaneous miracles, yes, but also gradual ones, moments when Jesus simply spoke a word and told the person to go find the evidence already accomplished. He is not confined to a pattern. The body has processes of repair that He designed, and when someone loses weight safely and steadily, that too can be a divine work, a cooperation with the wisdom He built into creation. Let us pray for perseverance, for self-control, and for a growing respect for the body as a temple. He cares about these physical struggles.

Yet the deepest ache may be what you called “past hurts.” This is where the heart needs a different kind of healing. I think of how the apostle Paul, decades after his conversion, still spoke of his pre-Christian life in terms of counting everything as loss. He didn’t try to repackage his past legalism or pretend it hadn’t happened; he simply refused to let it dictate his present or his future. Notice he said, “I counted loss and I still count it as loss.” He didn’t pick those old weights back up. Too many people remain entangled in the past, what someone did to them, the guilt they cannot shake, the wounds that replay like a bitter loop. That is not the life Jesus purchased for you. Healing of memories and emotions is real. It may come through a sudden release of forgiveness, or through a slow, patient unlearning of the lies spoken over you. But it comes. The same Christ who healed a leper with a touch and calmed a storm with a command can still an accusing voice within a human soul. You can bring those scars to Him and in time discover that they no longer possess the power to define you.

So I join you in asking for complete deliverance. I ask the Lord to seal off every old curse and every condemning voice. I pray that this young man will find a safe path toward physical health, not driven by shame but by a renewed mind. And I pray that the aches of yesterday will be met with the tender, ongoing healing of Jesus, the kind that doesn’t just cover the wound but actually makes it whole. Do not let the past become a monument you keep visiting. By the kindness of God, let it become a place you have truly left behind.
