We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, knowing that it is only through His name that we have power over every curse, every chain, and every work of darkness. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every curse spoken, thought, or inherited against and her son. The enemy has no legal right to oppress them, for "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy in Jesus' name and command every generational curse to be broken now. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Lord, we also lift up ’s son, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. We pray for safe and steady weight loss, not by the world’s standards, but by Your wisdom and guidance. May he honor You with his body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Strengthen him with discipline and self-control, for "foods for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will bring to nothing both it and them" (1 Corinthians 6:13 WEB). Let his focus be on nourishing his body for Your glory, not on the fleeting desires of the flesh.

Father, we also ask for deep emotional healing for him. Past hurts can leave wounds that only You can mend. Pour out Your love and comfort upon him, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Heal every memory, every rejection, and every lie he has believed about himself. Replace those lies with Your truth: that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and deeply loved by You. Surround him with godly influences who will speak life and encouragement into his spirit.

We also want to gently address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to break curses, receive healing, and walk in freedom. If either or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge them to do so today. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If they have already placed their trust in Jesus, we encourage them to walk closely with Him, renewing their minds with Scripture and standing firm in the authority He has given them.

Lord, we ask that You would fill and her son with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live victoriously. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. We declare that no curse shall have power over them, no sickness shall linger, and no past hurt shall define their future. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep concern in your words, you want your son truly free, and you’ve been fighting for him in prayer. That is no small thing. When it feels like darkness or old pain keeps clawing back, we understand how wearying it can be. We are here, standing with you, not with a quick fix but with steady hope in Jesus, who breaks chains and heals the broken heart.

Sometimes these knots, whether tied through curses spoken over your family or through deep hurts that settled in your son’s spirit, call for more than private prayer. The early Church often gathered a small, trusted group to pray specifically: renouncing what is not of God, breaking ungodly ties, and inviting Christ’s healing presence into the wounded places of a person’s past. We would gently encourage you to seek out a pastor, prayer ministry team, or a mature Christian counselor who is experienced in both deliverance and inner healing. Letting a few discerning, Spirit-led people pray with your son (and with you) in a focused, loving session can open up a freedom you’ve longed to see.

As you do, remember that his weight and his past hurts are often connected, old wounds can drive us toward comforts that end up harming the body. We won’t pretend to know all that he carries, but we trust that the Lord who knit him together sees every hidden thread and can bring order and healing, not shame. Encourage him to take one small, safe step forward, whether that means talking with a doctor about healthy weight loss or simply sitting quietly with Jesus and a trusted friend to let the memories lose their sting.

Lord Jesus, You broke every curse at the cross. Right now, we command any dark word, inheritance, or assignment against this family to be silenced and stripped of power. Protect this mother and her son, and surround them with Your light. For this beloved son, we ask for a safe journey toward physical health, give him wisdom, self-compassion, and provision. More than that, come gently into the rooms of his past where hurt has locked the door. Heal what was broken, speak peace to what still aches, and anchor his identity in You. In Your strong name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The Lord uplifted Him who was made a curse for us, and in that lifting, every curse that sin kindled against you is extinguished forever. What can any malediction accomplish when Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us? The poison of the serpent's bite is drawn out when you look to Him hanging upon the tree; there is life from sin, and life from every dark consequence of sin, by that one faithful look at the Crucified One. The curse is turned into a blessing, for the very trials you endure are no longer the lash of an angry judge, but the careful dispensation of Covenant love, dealt in weight and measure by a Father who wounds only to heal.

As for the son so dear to your heart, bring him constantly to the great Physician, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The hurtful memories that gnaw at the spirit and the bodily burdens he carries are not beyond the reach of the Sun of Righteousness, who rises with healing in His wings. When the Lord Jesus spoke to the sick of the palsy, pardon and healing were one single gift: “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Seek for him that double cure, for the guilt and the power of sin are both conquered by the same gracious hand. Let him look for sanctification in the very place he finds justification, and let him know that the Lord who forgives also delivers from the power of darkness and restores the years the locust hath eaten.

Be wise, then, and look upon all these present afflictions as a chastening that yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The deliverance from Egypt’s cruel bondage did not come until the lamb was slain; and your full deliverance, and his, was secured when the true Paschal Lamb poured out His soul unto death. Every trial works for good, though it is little understood. Sickness brings health, loss confers gain, and what seems a curse becomes the very pathway to demonstrating that the Lord has brought you forth. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Only lean upon Free Grace entirely, for He brings them forth, self can take no atom of honor for this deliverance. The ransom is found; the time of mercy has struck; it is already accomplished in the eternal purpose of Jehovah.

You ask for deliverance from curses, yet what curse can stand against the blessing of God upon a life of obedience? If you abide in Christ, no word spoken against you can prevail, for He turns even curses into blessings for those who love Him. The true curse is not from the lips of men but from the slavery of sin. Flee from that, and you are under the shelter of the Most High.

Now for your son’s weight and his inward hurts. Do not seek merely the health of the body while the soul lies wounded. The past pains he carries will not be healed by a lighter frame but by the medicine of a thankful heart. Train him to give thanks in all things, even for the afflictions, for this is how we despise what the world cannot give and find gain in every loss. Let him consider the poor who beg in the streets and yet bless God with every breath, how much more should he, who has far more, learn to say, “Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Do not set a time for God’s mercy, as if you could bargain with Him. The three youths in the furnace did not demand deliverance; they were ready to die, trusting Him whether He rescued them or not. Prepare your son for endurance, not for an easy escape, and God will grant relief in His own hour. Meanwhile, guard him from the love of riches and the comfort of food that becomes an idol. Wealth and fullness arm desires against the soul and make the hearing of God’s word unfruitful. Let him store up treasure in heaven, for that is the only lasting wealth, and the body will find its proper order when the soul is at peace.

I will pray, but you must do more than bring requests. Turn with your son to the word of God, hear it often, and let it drive out the passions that keep him bound. Forgiveness for those who hurt him, thankfulness for sorrows, and a disciplined contempt of fleshly ease, this is the path to true deliverance.

The fear that a curse spoken over you or your son still carries power can weigh heavily on the heart. Those old covenant warnings from Mount Ebal were real and solemn, but they were tied to a system of law that Christ fulfilled completely on our behalf. A curse without a cause cannot land on someone who belongs to Jesus. When you are hidden in Him, every accusation, every inherited word of harm, and every bitter pronouncement loses its claim. That does not mean the effects of past words disappear overnight, but it does mean their right to rule over your son’s life has been broken. You can rest in that truth now, not because you have said the right words to cancel them, but because Christ already bore what we deserved.

Your request for safe weight loss and healing from past hurts touches on more than the physical. Those deep places where cruel or careless words cut into his spirit can persist long after a physical wound would have healed. Emotional wounds often take their own course, and the pain can hang on month after month, year after year. Yet divine healing is not confined to a single pattern. Scripture shows us that Jesus healed instantly at times, gradually at others, sometimes with a word, sometimes with a touch, and sometimes with a command to go and find it done on the way. All of it was a fulfillment of the promise that He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The work itself is already accomplished in Him. How it unfolds in your son’s experience is not a measure of whether God is acting.

That gradual working includes the processes God established within the body and the mind. When a cut on the skin heals, it is still divine in origin because He created the process. When the mind slowly releases the shame or the sting of old abuse, that is also His restoring hand. Sometimes the deeper injury has simply taken hold more tightly, and the healing comes not by a dramatic event but by a steady, quiet recovery over time. Do not compare your son’s timeline to anyone else’s. The same Lord who calmed the sea and commanded evil spirits has authority over what harms him, and He is not distant from the slow work.

Keep bringing this before God with thanksgiving in advance for what is already true in Christ. There is no need to dwell on enumerating every curse as if its power must be individually dismantled. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word. And as you wait for the outward changes in his body, his habits, and his inner life, remember that deliverance often looks like God leading us right into an impossible place so we can see Him make a way where there was none. That song of deliverance Moses sang after the sea parted was not sung on the Egyptian side. It came after the crisis, when the victory was plain. Your son may yet sing that song, and your own heart can begin the melody even now, trusting that the One who bore his griefs will also carry him through into freedom.
