We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we stand in the authority of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose name alone breaks every chain and shatters every curse. We declare that by the power of His blood, every curse spoken, inherited, or sent against and her son is nullified, broken, and rendered powerless right now in Jesus’ mighty name.
The Word of God assures us in Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Lord, we claim this promise over their lives. Every generational curse, every word of death or destruction, every assignment of the enemy, we command it to be dismantled, dissolved, and sent to the abyss where it belongs. We speak life, blessing, and freedom over them in the name of Jesus.
We also lift up ’s son before You, Lord, asking for Your divine intervention in his physical health. You are the Great Physician, and we trust You to guide him into safe and sustainable weight loss. Give him discipline, wisdom, and strength to honor his body as Your temple, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." May he find joy in nourishing his body with wholesome foods and movement that honors You.
But Lord, we know that healing is not just physical, it is also emotional and spiritual. We ask that You would heal the deep wounds of his past hurts. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pour out Your comfort, peace, and restoration over him. Replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), loved unconditionally by You, and called for a purpose.
Father, we also rebuke any spirit of heaviness, depression, or bondage that may be contributing to his struggles. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, over his life. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him walk in the fullness of Your promises.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin, death, and every curse. There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your power, and Your love. May and her son walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs through Christ. Amen.
