Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, is more than sufficient to break every chain, shatter every curse, and dismantle every stronghold that has been set against ### and her precious son. In the mighty name of Jesus, we stand in the authority You have given us as believers and command every curse, whether spoken, inherited, or self-inflicted, to be nullified, rendered powerless, and completely dissolved. The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, oppression, and bondage that has sought to afflict this family. Every assignment of the enemy against their health, emotions, and well-being is hereby canceled in Jesus’ name. We speak life, restoration, and freedom over ###’s son, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his weight loss journey, grant him discipline, wisdom, and a heart that seeks You above all else. May his mind be renewed by Your Word, and may he walk in the fullness of the health and vitality You have destined for him.

Father, we also lift up the deep wounds of the past that may still linger in his heart. The enemy has no right to hold him captive to pain, rejection, or unforgiveness. We plead the blood of Jesus over every hurt, every disappointment, and every moment of trauma. Your Word promises in Isaiah 61:1, "The Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound." We declare that healing is not just possible, it is his inheritance in Christ. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon him, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

We must also address the foundation of this prayer. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If ### or her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge them to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true deliverance, no lasting healing, and no victory over the schemes of the enemy. But in Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

We also caution against any involvement in practices that seek deliverance or healing outside of God’s Word. The Bible warns in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 against divination, sorcery, or consulting mediums, these are abominations to the Lord. True freedom comes only through repentance, faith in Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit. If there has been any dabbling in the occult, generational sins, or ungodly soul ties, we urge repentance and renunciation in Jesus’ name.

Now, Lord, we stand in the gap for this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We loose angels to minister to them, to protect them, and to war on their behalf. We speak a hedge of thorns around them, that no evil may come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, experiencing Your love, Your power, and Your peace like never before.

We pray for ###’s son specifically:
- That You would give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), drawing him closer to You each day.
- That You would reveal any areas of his life that need repentance or surrender, and grant him the grace to walk in obedience.
- That You would surround him with godly mentors, friends, and accountability partners who will encourage him in his faith and health journey.
- That You would heal his emotions, replacing every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Let him know that he is loved, valued, and chosen by You.
- That You would strengthen his body, giving him energy, discipline, and joy as he seeks to honor You with his health.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that this family will see Your glory manifest in their lives. May they rise up as testimonies of Your power, walking in the freedom and wholeness that only You can provide. We seal this prayer in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer for these concerns. We want you to know that we are joining you, asking the Lord to bring freedom, healing, and steady strength for the journey ahead.

We’ve seen how deeply it can comfort someone just to know they are not alone, that others are faithfully lifting them before God. So please hold on to this: you are not carrying this request by yourself. We are praying, and we trust that the Lord hears.

With regard to weight loss, wisdom is a genuine gift God promises. Since you are asking for safety, it may be a good, practical step for him to talk with a doctor or a registered dietitian who can walk alongside him and tailor a plan that honors his body without harm. There is no contradiction between trusting God and using the wisdom He has placed in others.

As for past hurts, sometimes those wounds linger even when we wish they would simply fade. We have seen the Lord bring gentle, lasting restoration through what some call inner-healing prayer, times when a person invites Christ into painful memories and lets His presence bring comfort and truth. If he is open to it, connecting with a mature believer or a prayer minister who is experienced in that kind of prayer could be a safe and hope-filled next step.

We are praying now, in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, You see every hidden wound and every weight that burdens this son. We come against any curse or evil assignment spoken over him and his family, and we break its hold by Your authority. We ask for complete deliverance and for a clear path toward safe, healthy change. Meet him right where the past has left scars, and pour out Your healing presence, the kind that restores identity and hope. Grant him wise helpers and a strong sense of Your nearness. In Your powerful name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The curse is ended, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. He was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. I speak this over the son: every curse spoken against him is broken by the cross. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time had come. God has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own dear Son. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. All past sin is blotted out and his future brightens into eternal glory.

For the healing of this son's body and the safe loss of weight, look to the tree of life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, even the leaves. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one. The inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick," for the joy of pardon makes us ignore the sorrow of the past. As God brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes, so He brings forth His own in full deliverance, and will not suffer one of His little ones to perish.

The past hurts are under the healing leaves as well. God had one Son without sin, but He never had a son without sorrow. What son is he whom the father chastens not? As many as He loves, He rebukes and chastens, not in anger but from His dear covenant love. The bitterness of death is past, and death itself is listed among your possessions, all things are yours, whether life or death. You shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin.

Go now and declare the works of the Lord. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. The Lord has heard; He has brought forth deliverance by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. Let the son find his consolation not in bread alone but in every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, and let his body be subject to the Spirit, for the tree of life yields both fruit for nourishment and leaves for healing. God bless him and keep him.

You ask for deliverance from curses and for your son’s healing, both in body and in the wounds of past hurts. Hearken then to what the Spirit speaks through the Scriptures. No curse can withstand the power of Christ when the soul turns to Him with a thankful heart. You say curses are spoken against you and your son; but if you stand firm in the fear of God, no sorcery or ill wish can harm you. As Job suffered loss and yet blessed the Lord, so you must receive whatever befalls you with thanksgiving. It is not the same thing to willingly renounce the world and to have it torn from you; but if you bear it without blaspheming, without running to diviners, your loss becomes gain. God permits the devil to test, but he cannot touch the soul that clings to the Most High. Therefore pray not merely that the curses end, but that your son’s heart be so rooted in Christ that they become as chaff blown by the wind.

You also desire his weight to be safely reduced and his inward hurts to be healed. But look first to the root of these afflictions. Many seek bodily remedies while the soul’s passions run unchecked. If he pampers the flesh with rich foods, the fault lies not in the body but in the will. For the body is not evil, it is the depraved choice that enslaves us. Let him learn to master his appetites, not by mutilating the body as heretics do, but by mortifying the inordinate desires. The church is a spiritual surgery; bring him often to hear the divine word, for continual hearing has power to quench even the fiercest craving. When the soul is fed with the bread of heaven, it ceases to cling to earthly comforts that only deepen the wounds.

And as for past hurts, remember that to dwell on old wrongs is to let them fester. If your son has suffered injustice, let him rejoice that he is counted worthy to share in Christ’s afflictions. To withhold forgiveness is to drink poison and expect the other to die. Christ has promised a hundredfold reward to those who suffer with patience, but He draws no one by force. If your son will not come to the healer, you cannot compel him; yet for your part, weep and pray, and do not cease to place him before the Physician of souls. And you, who make this request, examine yourself lest any root of bitterness or love of worldly honor hinder your own prayers. For God hears not those who seek His aid while clinging to vanity. Cast your cares upon Him, and He will act.

What you are asking touches on something weighty, because Scripture does speak of curses that come from breaking God’s covenant. On Mount Ebal the tribes stood and cried out the curses for disobedience, and the people answered “Amen,” acknowledging that judgment was just. Those curses were not empty words; they were real consequences that would pursue and overtake a person who refused to listen to the Lord’s voice. But you are not left under that weight. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Through faith in Him, the dominion of every curse is broken. The curse does not have the final word anymore, no curse against you or your son can stand when you are hidden in Jesus.

That is the starting place for deliverance: not just asking for the curse to end, but resting in the One who has already absorbed it. The prayer you are praying is really a declaration that you refuse to let the past define what God has set free. That leads into the other part of your request, healing from past hurts.

Jesus healed in many ways. Sometimes He spoke a word and the sickness left instantly; other times He led a person through a process, like the blind man who saw people as trees walking before his sight was fully restored. Gradual healing is still divine healing, because the God who created the body and the mind also established the processes of restoration within them. When you pray for your son’s healing from past hurts, do not be discouraged if it comes layer by layer. The Lord can heal the wounds in his emotions and his memories, and even when the outward change is slow, a deep work is being done inside. The same is true for his body. You are asking for safe weight loss, that also relies on the natural patterns God set in place, and those patterns are themselves gifts of His kindness, not something less spiritual. Trust His design, and ask for wisdom and perseverance rather than a single instant fix.

What often hampers healing is holding onto the past. The apostle Paul had to learn this in another sense: he had built an entire identity on religious achievement, but when he met Christ he counted it all as loss. And he didn’t just say, “I counted it loss that day.” Thirty years later he said, “I do count them loss.” The past had to be kept in the past, refuse, so that it wouldn’t encumber his present walk. Past hurts can work the same way. If we keep reliving the injuries, nursing the wrongs done to us, we remain stuck. The Lord wants to translate that old story into a present healing. That means bringing those scars to Him and letting Him replace the sting with the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus. He Himself bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; the suffering that wounded your son was taken up by the Savior. You can ask the Lord to turn that truth from a doctrine into an experience, so the memories lose their power to poison the present.

So press forward. Cry out for deliverance, but then walk in the freedom that Christ has already secured. Do not let the past hurts, no matter how real, become the landmark that defines your son’s future. The curse is ended because Jesus became the curse for us. Healing, of the body and the soul, flows from that finished work. May the Lord grant your son safe progress in his physical health and a steady mending of every inner wound, as you all fix your eyes not on what lies behind, but on the Lord who goes before you.
