We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that Your Word stands forever: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every curse, hex, spell, or generational iniquity that has been spoken or enacted against ### and her son. We command every evil assignment to be dismantled and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. The enemy has no authority here, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8).
Lord, we also stand in agreement for ###'s son's physical and emotional healing. We pray for safe, godly weight loss, not by worldly standards, but by Your design for health and wholeness. Guide him to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) through nourishment, movement, and rest. Heal the wounds of past hurts, Father. Comfort him with Your presence, for You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Replace lies with Your truth, shame with Your love, and fear with Your peace.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, addiction, or self-sabotage in Jesus’ name. May he walk in the freedom Christ purchased, "by whose stripes you were healed" (1 Peter 2:24). Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in faith and discipline.
Above all, we pray for salvation if he does not yet know You. Jesus, reveal Yourself to him as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Let him experience Your love so deeply that he surrenders his life to You, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

The curse is ended. It cannot stand, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Every anathema that would fall upon that son is spent and swallowed up in the wounds of Jesus. Look no more to the condemning book; turn your eyes to the brazen serpent lifted high, and in that look find life and healing. The arrow of the enemy is broken, the snare is shattered, and the captive walks free because the Substitute has borne the penalty in full.
Pray for his bodily health, and pray in faith. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the very least things about Christ are medicine to the soul and body. He who forgives all our iniquities heals all our diseases. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and when pardon is spoken, healing comes with it. Ask that the bitterness of past wounds be poured out at the cross. Let him not say, “I have been sick,” for the joy of pardon makes us forget the reproach of our former sorrows. The Lord may use even a season of bodily restraint to quiet the spirit and teach a holy reliance. Every trial is dealt in weight and measure, not in anger but from covenant love. Sickness has often brought deeper health, and loss has conferred truer gain.
Yet let him not trust in any regimen or resolve as if sanctification were his own work. Deliverance from the power of sin, from the habits that have bound him, is as much a gift of free grace as justification. Look where you looked for pardon; there must you look for purity. The same hand that blots out guilt breaks the yoke of bondage. And if he feels he can do nothing, that is the very doorstep of mercy. The Spirit works where self has ceased its striving. This deliverance will be effectual, for He brings His people forth and not one of His little ones shall perish. Trust the covenant, rest in the ransom, and expect the full salvation, body, soul, and spirit.

The prayers you seek are not answered merely by begging for curses to be undone, as though incantations held power. The soul must first be leveled and made ready. If your son carries past hurts, let him give thanks for these wrongs as for a gain. For one who suffers affliction and does not blaspheme, who does not run to diviners but clings to God, is like a man who has already despised riches. In this, the devil becomes a helper: loss is converted into a great reward. The Church is a spiritual surgery; there the wounds of the heart are healed, not left to fester or newly opened by murmuring.
Consider the body’s weight. The desire that rules the belly is not the flesh’s fault but the soul’s tyranny. To be mastered by appetite is a foul bondage, dark and full of turmoil. What gain is there in pampering a servant that will be food for worms? Rather, let the will be corrected and the body will follow. Teach him to fast in secret, to give alms of self-denial without making a display, and the Father who sees in secret will repay openly. This is safe and true. The love of pleasure is a weightier curse than any spoken by men.

If the heart is divided, serving both God and comfort, no prayer avails. But if he stands firmly, thanking God and seeking the medicine of the Word, no curse can harm him. When God’s people stood at Mount Ebal, the law’s curses were called out for disobedience, and the people had to answer, “Amen,” agreeing that judgment was just. Every one of us has fallen short and deserved those curses. But here is the good news: Christ became a curse for us on the cross, bearing the full weight of the law’s penalty so we could be set free. In Him, every curse is broken, because He took the loss in our place. So we pray with confidence that no curse has any more hold on you or your son. We ask the Lord to silence every voice of accusation and condemnation, and we declare His blessing over your household.
