We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that by the blood of Jesus Christ, every curse, spell, hex, or generational bondage assigned against and her son is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus! The Word of God is clear: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). We stand on this truth, Lord, no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, gluttony, or emotional bondage that may be contributing to ’s son’s struggle with weight. Father, we ask for Your divine intervention, grant him safe, healthy weight loss that honors his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Surround him with godly discipline, wisdom in nutrition, and the strength to resist temptation. Heal his body, mind, and emotions from past hurts, Lord. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Let him know his identity is not in his struggles but in Christ, who makes all things new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We also address any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that may be hindering their breakthrough. If there are areas where they have walked outside Your will, whether in relationships, habits, or rebellion, we pray for conviction and repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Release them from shame, Lord, and fill them with Your peace.

Most of all, we pray for their salvation if they do not yet know You. There is no deliverance apart from Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, let them hear Your voice, surrender their lives, and walk in the freedom only You provide.

We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus and declare victory over every assignment of the enemy. May and her son walk in divine health, emotional wholeness, and the fullness of Your purpose for their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

When we pray about curses and spiritual oppression, we don’t treat it lightly. The kind of deliverance you’re asking for is real, and it is best pursued alongside mature, prayerful believers, perhaps a pastor or a trusted prayer ministry team, who can walk with compassion and biblical wisdom. Deliverance isn’t a quick fix but a process of renouncing lies, receiving forgiveness, and breaking the power of any darkness that may be at work. We’d gently encourage you to connect this mother with such support if she doesn’t have it already, so she isn’t facing this alone.

For her son’s past hurts, the path toward wholeness often includes what some call inner healing, a way of inviting Jesus to meet him right in those painful memories, bringing His comfort and truth to the places that still ache. This can be a tender, transformative step alongside whatever other care he may need.

And regarding his desire to lose weight safely, we pray for wisdom and practical help. While we trust God to strengthen him, we also know that a physician or a nutritionist can offer valuable guidance to help him steward his body well without drifting into extremes or discouragement.

Let’s bow our hearts together now:

Lord Jesus, we lift this mother and her son before You. In Your authority we renounce every curse spoken against them, and we ask You to break any dark hold and replace it with Your perfect peace. Bring deep healing to the son’s wounds from the past, let him feel Your tender nearness in the memories that still sting. Grant him patience and wise counsel as he pursues a healthier body, and guard him from shame or despair. Surround them both with a supportive community that reflects Your love. We ask all this in Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

Do not fear the shafts of the enemy nor the muttered curses of the workers of darkness, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Every malediction launched against you and your son is swallowed up in that great ransom. The precious blood of Jesus silences all accusations and breaks every chain; the clock of mercy struck the hour of your deliverance when He cried, “It is finished.” No curse can light upon a soul sheltered beneath the cross. Stand there by faith, and all the arrows of the wicked one shall fall blunted to the ground.

As for your son’s bodily frame and the wounds he carries within, bring those necessities to the well of family prayer, mentioning each detail before the throne of grace. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Past hurts, though they have chastened him sorely, may yet work for good under the careful hand of a covenant-keeping God. He who forgiveth all thine iniquities also healeth all thy diseases. Pray that the Lord would grant him a safe and gradual lessening of the body’s burden, and far more, that the great Physician would touch the hidden scars of the soul, making his bones to flourish and his spirit to rejoice. Look to Him who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; by His stripes there is healing for every inward plague.

Go now, and declare with confidence, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” For the Lord hath not appointed you unto wrath but to obtain deliverance by our Lord Jesus Christ. He will bring you forth out of every Egypt, and the bitterness of the past shall be remembered no more.

You ask for deliverance from curses and for the healing of the body. Be careful: the affliction that troubles you may not spring from another’s curse, but from a sickness of the soul. Remember the paralytic at the pool. The Lord healed him, yet afterward, finding him in the Temple, He gave this warning: “Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” God often permits the body to suffer so that the soul might be roused to repentance. So look first to the state of your own heart and that of your son. Has any bitter root grown from past wounds? Have you refused to forgive, or clung to anger? The curse uttered against you cannot harm if you stand firm in blessing. Instead, receive even wrongs with thankfulness, and you will gain a reward like Job, who, losing all, did not blaspheme but was counted worthy of double honor. The devil seeks to provoke you into idle words and vain anxieties, but you must not judge your neighbor nor return evil for evil.

As for the body, it is not wrong to desire safe weight and wholeness, but such care must be ordered rightly. The flesh often craves more than its due, and the soul grows heavy under the burden of overindulgence. Let the young man practice self-control quietly, not for display but as one who remembers that God sees in secret. True healing begins when the heart despises luxury and turns from every worldly distraction to the careful hearing of the word. That word must take root, and then fortitude and temperance will follow. Do not neglect the health of others while seeking your own, for we are members of one another. If you care for your son’s body, care much more for his soul, and for the souls of those around you. In this way, even the hurts of the past become occasions for virtue, and the curse you feared will prove empty.

I have brought your request before the Lord and I will keep praying for your son. Scripture says a curse without a cause will not come, and the blessings and curses we read about were always tied to a person walking faithfully with God or turning away from him. So I am not praying as if any word spoken over him has final authority. I am asking the Lord Jesus to end every curse spoken or intended against your son now, to silence every accusation, and to place him under the protection that belongs to those who trust in the Lord.

I am also asking for safe, steady weight loss. The body has a God-given process of healing and restoration, and I pray that the Lord would guide your son’s choices, strengthen his self-control, address any underlying physical causes, and bring him to a healthy weight without harm. I ask for wisdom for those helping him and for patience in the process.

I ask for deep healing from past hurts. Emotional wounds often linger longer than physical ones, and a person can torment himself by living in the defeat and grief of past days. I pray that your son would not be trapped there, but would learn to count the past as loss and press forward into what God has for him now. Where there is guilt, may he confess it and receive the cleansing God promises. Where there was betrayal or cruelty, may the Lord guard his heart from bitterness and vengeance and restore what was stolen.

I bring him with you to Jesus, who healed the leper, the centurion’s servant, and Peter’s mother-in-law, and who cast out darkness. Lord, draw near to him, deliver him, heal his body and his memories, and give him freedom and a future in Jesus Christ. Amen.
