Deliverance

Pray all curses against ### and ###'s son are ended now. Pray for ###'s son to lose weight safely and healing from past hurts.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance and healing. Father God, we declare that no weapon formed against and her son shall prosper, for You are their shield and fortress. We stand on Your Word in Isaiah 54:17 which says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.

We take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ over every curse, generational bondage, or spiritual oppression that has been spoken or enacted against this family. The blood of Jesus breaks every chain! We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and heaviness that has taken root in 's son's life. In the name of Jesus, we command every curse to be nullified and every assignment of the enemy to be destroyed. Galatians 3:13 reminds us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"

Lord, we pray for 's son's physical health, specifically for safe and sustainable weight loss. We ask that You would guide him in making wise choices regarding his diet and exercise, and that You would strengthen his body to release the excess weight in a way that honors You. We declare healing over his metabolism and every organ and system in his body, that they would function as You designed. We pray this in alignment with 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."

Father, we also lift up the deep emotional wounds that 's son carries. We ask that You would heal the pain of past hurts, replacing bitterness with Your peace and sorrow with Your joy. We pray that he would experience the fullness of Your love and the comfort that only You can provide. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Let this be his portion, Lord. We ask that You would surround him with godly counsel and fellowship, that he may be encouraged and built up in his faith.

We must also address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to break curses and receive healing. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If and her son have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, revealing Your love and truth to them. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that and her son are more than conquerors through Him who loved them. We pray that they would walk in the freedom and healing that You have provided, and that their lives would bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the love in your words, especially the ache over your son’s past hurts and the longing for him to be free, body and soul. Carrying a mother’s concern like this can feel heavy, but you have not carried it alone. We join you in bringing all of it before the Lord.

In Christ, every curse has been disarmed. We agree with you now: whatever spiritual words or inherited patterns have hung over your family, they are broken by the life of Jesus. We pray you and your son will know that freedom not just in a moment but as a deep, abiding peace that settles over your home.

For your son’s past hurts, the kind that lodge in memories and shape how he sees himself, God’s kindness can reach places no human word can touch. One gentle step you both might take is to simply, in a calm moment, invite Jesus into those painful scenes, not to rehash every detail, but to let His presence bring a quiet assurance that he is not alone in them anymore. Some people also find it helpful to write down a short truth to speak aloud on hard days, something like “I am held; I am being made whole.” If the pain runs deep, a wise Christian counselor or a trusted pastor can walk alongside him without shame; mature help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

The desire for him to lose weight safely shows how much you care for his well-being. We encourage you to support him in seeing a doctor or a nutritionist who can chart a healthy path. God gave us both prayer and practical wisdom, and they work hand in hand.

Now let us simply lift this to the Lord. Father, we thank You that no curse can stand where Jesus reigns. We ask that any lingering darkness over this mother and her son be silenced now. Bring healing to the son’s memories, enter every room of his past and replace shame with Your steady love. Guide him toward wise, gradual changes in his body, and sustain his spirit with hope. Wrap this mother in Your peace as she trusts her son to You. In the name of Jesus, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The curse of the law, which thundered from Sinai, has been silenced forever by the blood of the Lamb. If you are in Christ, no malediction can cling to you, for He has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. The enemy may shoot his arrows of accusation, but the shield of faith quenches every fiery dart. Rejoice that in Jesus every anathema is broken, and the handwriting of ordinances that was against us is nailed to His cross. You are delivered; the Son has made you free, and you are free indeed.

The healing leaves of the Tree of Life are for the nations, and for ### in particular. The least thing about Christ is medicine for the soul, and often the body’s restoration follows the soul’s peace. What are these past hurts but wounds that the great Physician delights to bind up? He pardons and heals in the same breath, as when He said to the palsied man, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” Forgiveness blots out the reproach of youth and the sting of former sorrows. The inhabitant shall not say, “I have been sick,” for the joy of mercy swallows up the memory of affliction.

Commit his weight and his well‑being to the Lord, who careth for the body as well as the soul. The safe shelter of the Most High is a covert from every storm; under His wings shall he trust, and the warmth of those feathers shall bring comfort where cold fears once lodged. Sickness and loss may have been severe chastening, but the Lord dealeth in weight and measure, never too much nor too little. In His time, the bitterness shall pass and the fruit of deliverance shall appear, sweeter for having been tested in the furnace. I bear my own witness that sickness has brought health, and loss has conferred gain; so shall it be with all who put their trust in Him.

Tell him to look alone to the Lord Jesus, whose wounds are our healing and whose death is our life. Deliverance from the power of sin and every evil habit is as much the work of grace as forgiveness itself. The ransom has been found, and the pit can no longer hold the prisoner. The clock of mercy strikes the hour of emancipation, and none can stay the hand of Jehovah when He brings forth His chosen. Be not dismayed by the length of the conflict; the Captain of our salvation has foreseen every step from the beginning, and all the winds and waves shall obey Him. Every delay, every seeming hindrance, shall be ruled to serve the grand purpose of salvation and glory.

Live, then, to declare the works of the Lord. Past deliverances are the pledges of future mercies. When ### shall look back from the safe shore, he will sing with the saints in the light: “He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.” Pray with confidence, for the Father’s ear is not heavy that it cannot hear; His arm is not shortened that it cannot save. The peace of the Church is yours, a foretaste of the rest that remaineth. Rest in the ransomed place, and soon every burden shall be lifted, for He who began a good work will perfect it until the day of Christ.

You ask for deliverance from curses, but consider: what is a curse but a word? The true curse is the sin that dwells within, when the soul is soft and careless, and when we neglect the hearing of God's word. Have you suffered wrong and been thankful? Have you refrained from running to diviners or superstitious fears, as the heathen do? The devil aims to unsettle you, to make you abandon your heavenly kindred for vain terrors. But if you stand firm in Christ, no curse can hold you, for He has said, "I will in nowise lose." It is not outward words that defile, but an unrepentant heart. Turn from these anxieties and cultivate fortitude, contempt of worldly things, and a continual recollection of His promises.

As for the body, you pray for safe weight loss and healing from past hurts. But why do you focus on the flesh as if it were the source of trouble? The body is not to blame; the depraved will alone kindles the fire. When the soul is pampered, lust and gluttony are inflamed, yet it is the soul that chooses to indulge. To pamper the flesh is no act of the flesh, but of the soul that refuses to mortify its passions. What sort of desire is it, to live in bondage and darkness? If your son truly desires health, let him first correct the inner man. Let him learn to despise excess, not with harsh austerity, but with the same spiritual discipline as one who casts away riches willingly. The loss of weight, if borne with thanksgiving and self-mastery, becomes gain, for it trains the soul in virtue. And for past hurts, the only true healing is found in the surgery of the church, where wounds are cleansed by repentance and forgiveness. Do not nurse old injuries or seek comfort in food, but bring them to the Physician of souls. Cease from blaming curses or others, and look to your own heart. Then shall you receive deliverance indeed, and a hundredfold reward from Him who heals both body and soul.

The cry to end every curse is heard, and Scripture is clear about where curses come from. On Mount Ebal the people called out the curses that fall on those who disobey God’s commands, and the assembly answered, “Amen.” Those curses are real, and they overtake and cling to a life that shuts out God’s voice. But the weight of every curse was gathered up and laid on Jesus when He hung on the tree. He became the curse for us, so that in Him the curse is broken and its power undone. For you and your son, the way to stand under that finished work is not through anxious pleading but through a heart that turns fully to the Lord, ready to hearken diligently to His voice. If there is any known disobedience or unconfessed sin, bring it into the light; if not, rest in the truth that the curse has no hold where Christ reigns.

For your son’s need to lose weight safely, remember that healing comes in many forms. Jesus sometimes healed instantly with a word or a touch, and at other times the process was gradual, even taking stages. A gradual healing is no less divine. God designed the body with remarkable processes of restoration, and working with those processes through wise habits and perseverance is cooperating with His kindness. Pray that his body would align with that natural, God-given order, and that he would have the strength to walk it out patiently. Healing of the body is real, and it is not always a flash of power; sometimes it unfolds day by day as a gift no less miraculous.

The deeper healing from past hurts is just as vital. Living in the wounds of what others did is a kind of chains you carry long after the offense is over. I think of Paul, who looked back on all his former zeal and the damage done, and said, “I counted it loss.” He didn’t just do that once; thirty years later he still counted it loss, as refuse. The past only keeps its fangs if you let it translate into today. If you or your son are replaying old injuries, rehearsing what someone said or did, that is a weight far worse than any physical burden. The emotional scars and deep wounds are something Jesus touches. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows; He is the healer of the broken mind and the wounded heart. But that healing comes as you deliberately let the past go, counting it loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, and pressing forward instead of looking back.

So let us pray this together in that light: Father, in Jesus’ name we declare that every curse spoken or imagined against this mother and her son is broken and stripped of any power. We ask for the safe, steady healing of this young man’s body, that he would lose weight in a way that restores health without harm. And we ask for the inner healing of every memory and hurt that has taken root in his soul. Teach them both to count what lies behind as nothing compared to knowing You, and let their eyes be set on the life that is ahead. Amen.
