Beloved of All
I have brought your son before the Lord and prayed that every curse spoken over him would be ended now. Do not let those words carry more weight than they deserve. The Scripture teaches that a curse without a cause will not come to rest. The covenant curses we read about were not magical weapons anyone could aim; they fell upon people who turned from God to serve other gods. For one who trusts in Jesus Christ, we ask God to silence every false word and to close every door that sin may have opened. Where there is guilt, the path back is honest confession and turning away from it, because God is faithful to forgive and to cleanse.
I am also asking the Lord to heal the hurts of the past. Some wounds are made by people who seemed kind but carried war in their hearts, and those cuts can take a long time to heal. Yet healing does not come by reliving the old pain. Bring those wounds honestly before God and ask Him to guard your son from bitterness and from wanting to get even. He will be safe when he puts his trust in the Lord rather than in the favor of people.
For his body, I have prayed that he would lose weight safely, with wisdom and self-control, and that his strength would increase rather than fail. Healing is for the body as well as the soul, and we are right to ask for it.
Lord, end every curse spoken against him, heal the wounds of his past, and give him wise discipline for his body. Let him find his safety and his peace in You alone. In Jesus' name.
