We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and her son before the Lord. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we stand in the gap for this family, declaring Your power and authority over every curse, every chain, and every scheme of the enemy.
Heavenly Father, we rebuke every curse spoken against ### and her son in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every generational curse, every word of death, sickness, or failure, and we command them to be nullified by the blood of Jesus. The enemy has no authority here, only You, Lord, hold all power and dominion. We declare that ### and her son are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no curse can stand against them.
Lord, we pray for ###'s son, that You would bring healing to his body, mind, and spirit. We ask that You guide him in a safe and healthy weight loss journey, one that honors You and the temple You have given him. Give him discipline, wisdom, and strength to make choices that glorify You, and surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in this journey. Remind him that his worth is not found in his appearance but in You alone, and that You love him unconditionally (1 Samuel 16:7).
Father, we also lift up the past hurts that may be weighing on his heart. Heal every wound, every memory of pain, and every lie the enemy has planted in his mind. Replace those lies with Your truth, that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have a plan and a purpose for his life (Jeremiah 29:11), and that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let him feel Your love in a tangible way, Lord, and let him walk in the freedom that only You can provide.
We also want to gently remind ### and her son that true deliverance and healing come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we pray that they would do so today. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would confess their sins, believe in their hearts that Jesus died for them and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of their lives. In doing so, they will receive the Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth and empower them to walk in freedom.
Lord, we ask that You fill their home with Your peace, joy, and presence. Let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking with You. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving in their lives in powerful ways. We declare that this family is set free, healed, and walking in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.

Dare you sleep another night under the curse? Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. The manner of deliverance is this: substitution. He bore our sins and the curse which came of it, so that no curse can fall upon those for whom He died. Pray then with boldness that every curse, spoken or unspoken, is swallowed up in that one great curse He endured at Calvary, and claim the deliverance already accomplished.
For the son, look to the healing leaves of the Tree of Life. The least thing about Christ is healing, the very leaves are for the healing of the nations. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. The weight upon his body and the hurts within his soul may be bound together, and as he seeks forgiveness and looks to the Crucified One, the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of it. Let him not doubt, for God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom. Then is deliverance certain, and healing shall flow from the pardoning hand.
Do not confound liberty with license, but walk in the freedom wherewith Christ makes free. The curse is turned into a blessing; the poison acts as a medicine; that which kills the impenitent helps the cure of a believer. As he casts himself upon Free Grace alone, able to do nothing, the Lord will bring him forth, and this trial shall work for good from His dear covenant love. Declare the Lord's works, for if we had no troubles we would have less to speak of His delivering hand.

If you call upon God to end curses, see first that no curse proceeds from your own lips. The mouth that partakes of the Lord’s Body must utter nothing bitter, no imprecation against any living soul. How can you ask mercy while breathing out vengeance? If you forgive not, you will not be forgiven; and how dare one petition the Judge of all to smite another? Such prayers rebound upon your own head. Let every word you lift to heaven be mingled with thanksgiving, and make your request for your enemies, not against them.
But perhaps you mean only that you fear curses flung at you or this child. Cast aside such dread. No dart of malice can pierce the heart that cleaves to Christ. The curse causeless shall not alight; rather, God turns it to blessing for those who love Him. The true curse is sin alone, and from that curse the Cross has set us free. Fear not the mutterings of men, but tremble at transgressing the commandments.
As for the son, you seek his healing from past wounds and a wholesome slimming of the body. These are not evil desires, yet examine the root. If the soul festers with unforgiven injuries, no bodily remedy avails much. Let him first wash out the venom of resentment, and pray for those who wounded him. Then the Physician of souls will bind up his inward fractures. For the body’s weight, pray indeed, but withal teach him moderation. The care of this life and the belly’s craving become thorns that choke the word if unchecked. True health comes from temperance, not from fretting over the scale. Seek first the Kingdom, and a measured body often follows a governed soul.
Above all, let your prayer be not a list of earthly demands but a humble prostration before mercy. Say, "Thy will be done," and trust the One who feeds the ravens to supply what is needful for both flesh and spirit.
