Deliverance

Your concern about curses has a decisive answer in what Christ accomplished on the cross. The law brought a curse on all who failed to keep it perfectly, but Christ took that curse upon Himself when He hung on the tree. He became a curse for us, so that every child of God stands outside the reach of any condemning word. No matter what anyone has spoken or wished against you or your son, it has no authority over a life hidden in Him. God has blessed, and no incantation can reverse that blessing.

As you pray for his healing from past hurts, remember that dwelling in the horror of former days only deepens the wound. The enemy would love to keep you both trapped there, replaying what cannot be changed. But God’s mercy covers all that is past, and He does not treat us as our sins deserve. He wants to bring a quiet healing to the mind and emotions, sometimes gradually, sometimes in a moment of release. Do not measure His work by a rigid pattern. Any step toward wholeness, any softening of a scar, is a divine work.

Weight loss and physical health are part of the same care. The body has its God-ordained processes, and all genuine healing, whether instant or over time, comes from His hand. It is not less supernatural because it unfolds through natural means; He designed those means. Pray for wisdom in diet and exercise, but above all trust the Lord who weighs the waters and holds the clouds together without tearing. He who manages the vast forces of creation can gently lead your son to better health. The light afflictions of this present moment are working toward an eternal weight of glory far beyond comparison.

So do not let fear of curses grip your heart. Instead, speak blessing over your household. God’s ways are past finding out, but this is certain: those who come to Him through Christ are heirs of the promise, and He will never cast them off.
