We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and her son before the Lord. Father God, we know that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and we stand in the gap for this family, believing in Your power to break every chain and set the captives free.

First, we rebuke every curse that has been spoken or sent against and her son in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:13, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every generational curse, every word of death, sickness, or failure that has been spoken over their lives, and we command it to be nullified by the blood of Jesus. We declare that they are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no curse shall have power over them.

Father, we also lift up ’s son, asking for Your healing touch in his life. We pray for safe and healthy weight loss, Lord. You know the desires of his heart, and we ask that You guide him in making choices that honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Give him discipline and self-control, but also fill him with Your peace and joy as he walks this journey. Remind him that his worth is not found in his appearance but in being fearfully and wonderfully made by You (Psalm 139:14).

We also pray for healing from past hurts, Lord. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). If there are wounds from rejection, abandonment, or any other pain, we ask that You pour Your love into those places and bring restoration. Help him to forgive those who have hurt him, just as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). Let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also want to gently remind and her son of the importance of knowing You personally, if they do not already. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no deliverance or healing outside of the name of Jesus. If they have not surrendered their lives to You, we pray that they would do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We declare that and her son are free from every curse, every burden, and every weight that has held them back. We speak life, health, and wholeness over them in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them (Galatians 5:1). We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, and we care deeply about what you’ve asked. The desire to see him free from any curse, safe in his health, and healed from past wounds is something we take seriously in prayer.

The weight of spiritual opposition can feel heavy, and we agree with you in asking Jesus to break every curse and chain right now. In practice, deliverance often grows strongest when walked out with mature believers who can pray with him in person. If he’s willing, gently encourage him to connect with a trusted pastor or prayer team who can stand with him and help him renounce anything that’s not from God.

For the weight loss, we’d also suggest encouraging him to see a doctor or a nutritionist, just to make sure he has wise, safe, and practical support. This isn’t a lack of faith, it’s stewarding his body well while asking God to be the source of his strength. And about those past hurts: real healing often unfolds as we quietly invite Jesus into the memories, letting His presence address the pain and helping us release forgiveness. A Christian counselor can be a steady companion in that process.

We’re praying now.

Lord Jesus, we bring this son before You. We command every curse spoken over him to end, and every spirit of oppression to leave him now, in Your powerful name. Give him freedom, Lord, and shield him from anything that would pull him back. Guide him toward safe and lasting changes in his body, and grant him the perseverance to care for his health without discouragement. Move into the wounded places of his heart and bring Your deep, restoring touch. Heal what feels broken and replace shame or fear with Your steady peace. Surround him with wise, loving helpers, and let him know he is not alone. Cover him with Your grace and lead him into the full life You desire for him. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The curse that would cling to the soul is gone, for Christ was made a curse for us. When He hung upon the tree, He bore every malediction that the law could pronounce or malice could invent. Therefore, let no curse lie upon or his son, for they are under the blood of sprinkling, and the Redeemer has broken every chain. I pray, Lord, end every word spoken against them, whether from the enemy of souls or from the bitter lips of men. Let the thunder of Sinai be silenced by the voice of mercy from Calvary. Our deliverance from the curse is by a redemptive work for us, and the Lord has said, "I have found a ransom." Doubt not your deliverance, for it is of Free Grace alone.

And as for the son, the Great Physician has healing leaves that grow from the Tree of Life. His past hurts, those wounds of the spirit that have festered and perhaps driven him to the comfort of the table, I pray that the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are one in Jesus; when He forgives, He restores the soul. I ask the Lord to make the bitterness of past sorrow a thing forgotten, swallowed up in the joy of sins forgiven. Even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue; a look from His eye can change the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was before.

Concerning the body, our heavenly Father cares for our frame. I ask that He grant this young man wisdom and strength to lose weight safely, not by worldly striving, but by the Spirit's discipline. Let not food be a tyrant over him, but let him taste the sweetness of Christ, the Bread of Life, and find his deepest hunger satisfied. The power of sin over the appetite is broken in the cross; deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. I pray for sanctification in this realm, that his body may be a temple for the Lord, and that every chain forged by past hurts be snapped by the nail-pierced hands.

Remember, the Lord chastens those He loves, yet He delivers. Even this trial may be a chastenings that yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness. Like a careful dispenser, He will not pour out a drop too little or too much. I bear my willing witness that sickness has brought me health, loss has conferred gain. So look to the Ransom, and doubt not. The inhabitant shall not say, "I am sick," for the Lord has pardoned all. I pray that the son will yet live and declare the works of the Lord, his past hurts healed, his body brought into subjection, and his soul delighting in the God of his salvation.
